I've been really enjoying all your Poland vlogs! I'm Polish myself but I live in the USA and I'm planning on showing my (American) husband Warsaw and Gdansk this year. So your vlogs are really useful, I'm definitely adding the Uprising museum to the list of places to see, but even more than that, I just really appreciate your excitement and curiosity, your approach and respect towards my country. It's really cool to see awesome travel vloggers show so much of Poland, and not just the touristy parts but the local and hipster parts too
Oh we LOVE comments like this - so happy we can share some of your country with your hubby :) Pleased our attitudes to travel come across on camera, thanks for the nice comment.
This is cool...I've visited Warsaw 2 times in the past 18 months (from Canada), short trips, but I hit the Warsaw Rising Museum the last trip there...it is indeed a very sobering place. Took the Pendolino train to Krakow and back. It is not inexpensive but it is a fast, nice trip. And the Nocny Market is literally across the street (and over the fence) from the short-term apartments I rent when I am there (on ul. Kolejowa). :) I'm back again in October. I love Warsaw.
i'm so glad that you're enjoying your stay in Poland :) Not many tourists visit Poland when they go to Europe. It's always Germany, Italy, Spain etc. and never Poland so i'm super happy you're here
Wow! Amazing museum! I’m a big fan of history and just learning stories of the past. Powerful stuff to see I’m sure. Very nice walk you guys had too! So chill 🤩💯💯💯
Daneger and Stacey most definitely loved the euro trip mostly for the architecture as well as the history. Italy is next up on the list before going back to the Philippines next year! Haha! 🤩
Glad to see you in Warsaw. Hope you're having fun :) If you haven't been yet, I suggest a visit to the Łazienki Park. It's the largest park in Warsaw and a very nice place to "escape" the city.
If you're looking for some more unique places in Warsaw I higly recommend you visitng The Neon Museum. There is a collection of old neons from communist times. You can also visit Francuska street in Saska Kępa neighborhood. It's a very laid-back, beautiful area with lots of pubs and cafés. And there's a cool "Poniatówka" beach just few minutes walk from there. Have a great time. :)
hello Daneger and Stacey guys it's amazing that you found each other and barged into the utmost of adventures , this is just to tell you how much i envy you and admire you as well ,,, i became addicted to your vlogs and actually planning my trip to thailand based on your videos , thank you so much for the enormous effort and joy you two bring to us ,,, cheers
BTW, there were a lot of New Zelanders and South Africans flying these B24s over Warsaw to do the supply drops, many of them died being shot-down. They flew from Italy over Balkans and Carpathian Mountains to Warsaw, after making the drop, they have to had BACK to Italy because the Soviets refused them their airfields to land, refuel, resupply. This is the proof what kind of 'allies' the Ruskies truly were.
I'm so glad that you enjoy your polish experience. I think it's still a little underestimated part of Europe and it's only because we (I'm Polish) have been torn apart for 200 years while other parts of Europe were evolving into what we now call The west. But before that Poland used to be a big deal in Europe having to actually have most of the north -central lands with were much disiered. But Evan I years of different foreign occupation ( we've been wiped of the maps for 123 years ) we still had the disere to learn and fight and think for ourselves so we have a lot of fighters and inventors among us. Anyway I love this travel-stay in -explore-lern combos that you do. It's always been a dream of mine to be able to see the world that way. And hopefully one day will see New Zealand. And btw you both are so good looking but in this natural, humble style that is fun to see you. And I'm very happy you enjoyed Sopot and Trycity area as it is my hometown . Shame you didn't get to take your drone for spin cause Tricyty forest landscape is amazing. Really Google it. Most of the land is coverd in greenery :) Anyway sending you good vibes and as they say (I think) good luck in all your endeavours :) Cheers.
I love Stor Cafe, it's my favorite coffee shop in Warsaw. Always busy, but they serve great coffee. Have fun in Warsaw, my home city! You have to go to "bulwary wiślane", because as I can see, you live in area very close to them. It's great place, they're new and modern, I really like to spend my time with friends there.
Thanks guys, that means a lot! Saw your comment on Endless Adventure the other day.... you'll want to stay tuned to both of our channels in the next few weeks... *hint hint
Again another great video! I loved the review of the Uprising Museum. I don't think any other Ytubers have covered it like that. Plus, that stop at the old train station was definitely off the beaten track. Check out the new Jewish museum in the center which lies in what was in the ghetto. I haven't seen that on TH-cam yet! Nearby there is even an old tenement building which survived the war unchanged. It is on ul. Prozna. Thanks for the trip! 8^)
oh, you got the worst weekend to travel to Warsaw - it was sooo cold & rainy these few days and it's getting warm again when you've gone :-) As for the Nocny Market - I think you've been there a bit too early - it really gets busy and interesting around 9-10 pm. For the museums, there is one more I hope you had a chance to visit - POLIN, dedicated to 1000 years history of the Polish Jews. If you have not, that's (one of) a reason to come back and see more Warsaw!
Love these vlogs. You two are doing a great job showing Poland to people :) Actually now I feel like I have to go to Warsaw and see all the places you mentioned in the video myself!
Hi! When staying in Warsaw you should also go to Polin Museum, spend some time in Łazienki Park, go to the viewing platform of PKiN (Palace of Culture and Sience), visit retaurant Stary Dom. Great vlog!!! Thanks!
Welcome to Warsaw! Hope you will have a great time in it :D if you haven't already heard: you absolutly had to go to Vistula boulevards! Also on the east side of the river there is a "wild" path that you can take a stroll on. It is realy nice and wild place in the middle of the city. ps. if you want a local recomendation for the hangover after your vodka tour - buy some pickles (ogórek kwaszony) and drink the juice from it ;) it's a polish remedy
Hi! Just today I stumbled across your vlogs and I have to say I love them! I spent all morning watching you guys. I live in Warsaw and i recommend you to visit Hala Koszyki if you want to grab some food. It's a market hall packed with interesting and delicious places to eat. You can find different cuisines there. Also check out Bulwary Wiślane, it's freshly build boulevard along the shore of the biggest river in Poland Wisła which you also saw in Kraków. It's refreshing to walk around this place :) Stay sharp and wholesome as always guys!
If you are panning to go to poland and want to go to a muzeum about the 2 world war I reccomend the II World War muzeum in Gdańsk, I personally think it visualizes what central European was like in an incredibly touching and educating way, at the same time keeping all the different subjects very neetly grouped up.
Yeah if you take trains on this routes the best is to get Pendolino EIP but they are rather expensive. Buying ticket via internet you can check type of carrige, wether it have compartments or not, and chose to book seats without compartments. But it is a little hassle.
We did all of that for both our train journeys - but the timings for the Warsaw leg were bad and only carriages available... or maybe the other faster more expensive one but booking late is not smart haha
Daneger and Stacey Yeah this EIP are expensive when buying on the day of travel. If you buy carriege there are usually compartment-less options you must choose this while booking ticket. I also prefer this option, and only use compartment if thera are some empty in the train (but having ticket on seats in openspace carriege)
And here are train setups in pdf. (In polish only) but you just choose City Name where you are and open pdf, and there are departure hours and carriges in train for given hour. www.intercity.pl/pl/site/dla-pasazera/informacje/pociagi-i-stacje/zestawienia-pociagow.html
Check up Powiśle- the vistula river bank by night! Great spot for evening stroll and open air bars! Also just on The other side if The River one of few city' s natural beaches! Enjoy!
Hey! You’ve got your jumper on, a welcome change from the usual tank tops. Must be getting chilly over there 😁. The tour of the museum was great, considering that it is part of the worst and saddest war in human history... so sad when I think of it. It’s sad also that Poland is out of the World Cup 😢
It was actually a nice change to have a few days of cold! Definitely mega sad that Poland are out of the WC, otherwise we could have made some more local friends over vodka haha
I liked the heavy stuff here it was informative too. Whenever it gets to 16 degrees here in Kenya we say we are freezing and to guys say it’s not too cold😳
You were right to include the museum and the historical issues that it deals with. That history happened within living memory and shapes the current day. It is amazing to see how the Polish people have rebuilt their nation from the ruins of World War 2. That takes real grit and vision!
Greetings from Warsaw! :D I love your videos, keep up the great work! In Warsaw there are plenty of great places to visit and you might want to check out the Copernicus Centre of Science (Centrum Nauki Kopernik). It is located next to the Vistula river in Powiśle District. I don't know if you've been there but if not then I highly recommend going there! It's one of the most popular attractions and it is quite difficult to explain what there is xD you need to check it out on your own but you won't regret it, website is in English as well so you shouldn't have a problem whatsoever. And also if you would like to go for a walk there is great Łazienki park or Wilanów park. In Google you will find all the details, best regards! :]
Hi again, love your videos traveling around the world. Thanks for visiting my country poland, hopefully I’ll get a chance to visit your country too. Just like to say 1 thing, PKP, which is the national train operator in Poland has already signed an 81 million PLN contract to knock down this old station and build a new 1 in its place. The station was closed down in 1997 but will soon reopen as brand new as this whole area is being redeveloped.
you guys, i've just found your channel it's great, I'm from Poland from a small town near Krakow the town where "kremówki" are came from and became famous :) I sincerely recommend you to visit museum of Oscar Shindler in Krakow, it's one of the best museum in Poland
The Warsaw Uprising Museum is definitely my kind of thing I would do. Been to a war museum in Ho Chi MIn, and that was incredible. Lovin' the videos and can't wait for the vodka tour...you'll suffer the following day!
love that you are so for street art and graffiti. I recommend "wyścigi"(vishsigy) wall on Puławska street it's 1km of graffiti non stop... best 4 you have a pleasant stay in Warsaw the city that saw war... and survive
I just caught up with the videos I missed! Looking back at your videos did you guys go from Krakow > Gdansk > Warsaw? If i have this correct just wondering how did you guys find the trip from Gdansk to Warsaw? Thanks Dane and Stacey for another awesome story time and video!! Sending love from Australia!
A city of bridges and dwarfs. Small bronze dwarfs are hidden all over the city. I do not mention dozens of attractions, parks, etc. International atmosphere. The city is defined as "Wrocław - the meeting place". It is beautiful and it will be a big mistake not to see it. Near Sowie Mountain and Riese(complex of Nazi tunnels). Also Klodzko and Karl's mini bridge, as in Prague. In the vicinity of Wrocław is Mount Ślęża, one of the ancient pagan centers. Wonderful castle Książ. I can talk many hours about the area… Please, visit Wrocław next time.
Have you been in Center of science Copernicus in Warsaw (centum nauki Kopernik w Warszawie)? It's the best museum i have ever seen and i'm sure you will love it and spend all day there. You must check it out! BTW: I love your videos!
I don't know if you got this but because the whole city was on fire it was hard for pilots to locate dropping points for supplies let alone make them land there so packages landed on german side as well. One of the running jokes among german soldiers was, that they got lost stuff back.
You should've visited Malbork when you were at the coast. The city has the biggest still standing brick castle in the world, former headquarters of Knights of Teutonic Order.
If you happened to notice the lace graffiti while walking towards the Nocny market- this is done by Polish street artist Nespoon. She is bloody awesome. Google her- you won't be disappointed and she has murals and smaller pieces throughout Warsaw. :)
The largest crowds you'll see will be on the Krakow Rynek in the summer or maybe ul Dluga in Gdansk. Otherwise, every where you go, you aren't overwhelmed by tourists.
hey guys, if you are still in Warsaw you might like to visit Czupito bar („szoty za 5 zloty” - delicious shots 5zł each) and Barn Burger :) have a great time in Warsaw!
If I can just add one thing - only a small part of the city was actually damaged in the battles itself. Majority of the damage and as you said 85% of the city was destroyed by Nazis on the Hitler's special command as a punishment for the people of Warsaw and was done as an act of the pure hate. Furthermore, a huge part of the citizens (not only resistance fighters but also civilians) was either killed in the uprising or executed/sent to the concentration camps afterwards. The city that existed for hundreds of years had pretty much died after the uprising. Soviets and Polish communists never rebuilt Warsaw to its past form, instead they built a city in 'soviet style' architecture and most of the native Varsovians didn't survived the war.
Hey Guys - I’m impressed your vlogs from Poland- they are really high quality and so informative! I’m Polish and live in Warsaw :) How long you’re staying in Warsaw? Pls. Check out Garden on the roof top in Library of University called BUW ( boove) So beautiful and chill place. Today night you can also go to the river Vistula and check out e.g. Cud nad Wisła (Miracle under Vistula) - place where you can have Fun and dance outside under river :) Each weekend worth to see is Mutimedia fountains show - start on Friday about 21:00 (9:00pm) there is around 10 min down street from Barbican/ Old Town On old town recommend Stairs Street a bit underrated place - but magical/ just check out from both sides up and down:) Beautiful ‘pictureresque’ is Bridge Gdański on the Tram level with stairs like snail 🐌 Citadel in district Żoliborz is worth to see - I’ve mean surroundings. Beautiful chill place. Check out hot Pączki / donuts in Chmielna street called Pawłowicz - the best in Warsaw :) Check out Park Skaryszweski is on the other side of Vistula next to National Stadium. Enjoy your trip! 🙃 Ps. If you need more recommendations feel free to ask:)
Daneger and Stacey Oh - Glad To hear that! And so sorry about the weather! And paradoxically we needed some less hot days because actually since half of April we have hot summer in Warsaw (Poland)... Plants really needed a rain but agree that last few days were pretty cold last weekend even like a Autumn haha So - hope you had great Time here despite the weather! 💝 My dream is one day visit New Zealand and Solomon Islands :) Have a Great Time whenever you are! Much Luv!💝 Ps. Oh and I love Channel How to Dad from New Zesland - so funny Dad🤩😍
It's OK - Warsaw is great either way, rain or shine! Haha yeah we know the channel, actually met him at a rugby game and got a photo with him for our Instagram story haha
Daneger and Stacey Oh! Really! Next time pls say Hello from Poland to Him!😁 So Glad you Enjoyed my Country and made Great vlogs about your Travel! Keep it up! Warm Hugs for you Guys!
nice to hear about the first struggles but a pity you never mentioned the second one ...Lech Wałęsa was a Polish statesman, dissident, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, who served as the first democratically-elected President of Poland from 1990 to 1995. A shipyard electrician by trade, he became the leader of Solidarity, and led a successful pro-democratic effort which in 1989 ended the communist rule in Poland and ushered in the end of the Cold War.

I think you should try polish craft beer. I can assure its amazing. Try jabeerwocky pub or kufle i kapsle
We've had loads of craft beer, dont worry about that haha
Daneger and Stacey happy to hear that, hope you enjoy it
I just caught up with the videos I missed! Looking back at your videos did you guys go from Krakow > Gdansk > Warsaw? If i have this correct just wondering how did you guys find the trip from Gdansk to Warsaw? Thanks Dane and Stacey for another awesome story time and video!! Sending love from Australia!
Yup that's right - the train ride at the start of this video is the Gdansk to Warsaw leg, it sucked pretty hard haha
Sweeet! Are you guys going to Wrocław anytime soon?
Sadly not - didnt hit our radar when we were planning now everyone talks about it *facepalm
Awww... Hopefully another time then! I'd be happy to join in and show you around!
Vodka Tour 🤠🍻👊
Not sure if you've found it yet, but it was amazing!! th-cam.com/video/RiIBIb3oOXE/w-d-xo.html
You should've visited Malbork when you were at the coast. The city has the biggest still standing brick castle in the world, former headquarters of Knights of Teutonic Order.
The Nocny Market it is meanig just Night's Market and you are there by day :)
Haha thats a good point.
If you happened to notice the lace graffiti while walking towards the Nocny market- this is done by Polish street artist Nespoon. She is bloody awesome. Google her- you won't be disappointed and she has murals and smaller pieces throughout Warsaw. :)
Loved all the street art there! Shame it was so rainy haha
Yessss.. You're here. :D
Yesssss
You should defenetly visit Poznan!
Doesn’t look crowded at all in Poland. That’s good for visitors.
It's honestly not that crowded at all! We were quite surprised by that in most places we visited.
The largest crowds you'll see will be on the Krakow Rynek in the summer or maybe ul Dluga in Gdansk. Otherwise, every where you go, you aren't overwhelmed by tourists.
The proper holiday are in july/august = more people on the streets :)
hey guys, if you are still in Warsaw you might like to visit Czupito bar („szoty za 5 zloty” - delicious shots 5zł each) and Barn Burger :) have a great time in Warsaw!

Wooh - happy to hear that!
Why did they call that place "nocny market"? That is horrible name for that place. Or "Nocny rynek" or "nights market".
First
Nope - second! 🥈
What do yous think of the forced retirement of Poland's Supreme Court leader?
I hope you enjoyed Poland. Your girlfriend is soooooooo cute
I agree :)
nice to hear about the first struggles but a pity you never mentioned the second one ...Lech Wałęsa was a Polish statesman, dissident, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, who served as the first democratically-elected President of Poland from 1990 to 1995. A shipyard electrician by trade, he became the leader of Solidarity, and led a successful pro-democratic effort which in 1989 ended the communist rule in Poland and ushered in the end of the Cold War.
Pieprzony Bolek.
Warsaw has a lot of amazing museums like ‘’Museum of the History of Polish Jews” and go to old town it nice bulwary as well.
Museum of the History of Polish Jews is a joke and zionist propaganda institute.
