Thank you so much for the amazing videos from Poland . You are absolutely fantastic !! I live in UK almost 15 years and seeing Poland from your perspective is magical .
Go to Łazienki Park and don't forget to take nuts for the squirrels, they are really tame. On Sunday at 12 a.m. and 4 p.m. there are free Chopin concerts.
Warsaw is a hard nut to crack, I've never really got into it, you've found some cool places though. Lodz is not far away, huge city with tons of history but hardly any tourists. I think you should check out Wroclaw before you leave Poland, the town square is stunning and it has a nice vibe.
If you have time in Warsaw you should visit the Wilanów Palace which is a short car trip outside the city. It has fantastic gardens and interiors to see. The Modlin Fortress (50 kilometers North of Warsaw) is also very interesting. It is the largest 19th century fortress in Poland. If you'd like a bit of an upscale date night head to Stary Dom Restaurant, delicious traditional cuisine!
Great Job Guys! And Glad to see that you grab some Sun in Warsaw, last week wasn’t to friendly with weather :) but Summer back now :) Enjoy your Travel and Thanks for sharing! Much Love!💝
Love your blog! If you are still in Warsaw you should definitely go to Lazienki Park and see the Palace on water, there are also free Chopin concerts on Sundays-worth visiting! I also recommned Saska Kepa neighborhood, cool, leafy district with pre-war villas and plenty of cafes and restaurants (also with hidden gardens-try Biala or Eden Bistro). Try also Boulevars by the Vistula River, Breakfast Market (Targ Sniadaniowy) in Zoliborz district (on Saturdys), Hala Koszyki (food hall), Old Town and Krakowskie Przedmiescie (obvious), Polin Museum of the History of Polish Jews (cool buidling and interesting exhibition) and last but not least the new Museum of Polish Vodka in Koneser Factory!
Nice view from the rooftop garden... Wish I'd know of it last year... Stayed in the Praga district last year... During the "Alternative Warsaw" tour (Praga side of river) we learned it wasn't bombed like the Warsaw side of the river, but also that people are more willing to let things crumble before rebuilding... Definitely gave a view of old vs new - Poland style...
Never thought the ruins of my former faculty building will make it to a Kiwi travel vlog :). Since you've already visited the Warsaw Uprising Museum and know a bit about the 1944 insurrection, you might want to head to Smulikowskiego street which just several hundred yards south of the University Library. Find number 10 and take a look at the wall to see the actual bullet holes from the Uprising. Oh, and the sign in the rooftop garden says "Maintenace Passage" :). Cheers and have a good time in our city.
Guarantee that you guys will find something different to explore and share! The Neon Museum looks amazing. There is a much smaller but really interesting display of neon light art installations at the Tate Modern Gallery in London. Most recently they commissioned a neon light installation using around 2 kilometres of neon tubing. Keep these unusual locations coming! :)
4:55 haha ;) no my friends it's not a church ;) It's is customarily called 'Grey Villa' and it is a one ot the University of Warsaw, faculty of Law building. I used to have classes there ;)
:D Warsaw is amazing! You remind me my student times :D I hope you come here again :) And when you will be next time in Poland I invite You to Sierpc, it's a small citty but with a wibe :D:D
I don't know if you ever said that, haven't seen all the vlogs, but where do you buy your clothes? I like your T-shirts like on every video that you post :D
Haha not something we get asked often, but don't really have an answer either. Just all random places all over the place from years gone by. Nothing new or anything!
while in Warsaw you should eat in traditional Polish dinner "bar mleczny" (milk bar). They sometimes have really communistic atmosphere. There are two that I would recommend in particular. First one is in the city centre on Krucza street, it is called "Bar Mleczny Bambino". Food there is really tasty, there is very often a line of people waiting for a table in the lunch time but it was modernised and doesn't have this socialistic vibe anymore. The 2 is 10-15 min away by tram in Zoliborz (Say Zoliborskie to be exact) and it is called "Bar Mleczny Sady Zoliborskie". This one haven't almost change for past 40 years. Food is more like it used to be in communism, still good for a milk bar but not restaurant level. Also it is mostly visited by locals who eat here everyday. No matter which bar you decide to go you should have some kind of soup like barszcz (beetroot soup) or chlodnik (cold beetroot soup, very refreshing in summer), traditional Polish kotlet schabowy (breaded pork chop) best with kapusta zasmazana (young cabbage) and as you have already had pierogi then you should try knedle ze sliwkami (kind of pierogi with plum but the dough is different). Generally bar mleczny is a must in Poland.
btw, those places are extremely cheap but when you order the main course you should not forget to order side dishes too, so potatoes or salad as they are normally not included. Very popular drink in a milk bar would be kompot which is made of fresh boiled fruits.
Funny how you 2 just so happen to be in Warsaw because they just started steam washing the Palace of Culture. When it's done the building will be original white. You are a part of history.

All that greenery in Warsaw, so good for the eyes! Dr. Mike says so! 😊
Good for the soul as well! Cities are too intense for us 😊
Most green capitol in Europe from what I remember.
Go to Pałac w Wilanowie, it is so beautiful there!
The Neon Museum is about 5 minutes from my house, it's a pity that I didn't encounter you!
Yes! The royal garden is beautiful and really peaceful, a lot of newly wed couples go there for photoshoots! Have you been to the Łazienki Park yet?

Hi. Im living in Edinburgh but from Poland.
Never be in Warsaw
Nice to Watch it With You
Happy to share!
Great material :) Take care Guys !
Unreal!!!!! Love it all. Hay fever can get stuffed
I'm lucky I don't get it, but Stace has been a right off pretty frequently. Going to some gardens probably wasn't the greatest idea though haha
Big up's for not stealing intellectual property. So many less moral or differently cultured/nationals wouldn't give a stuff. Well done!!!
Thanks Chris! Did the best we could :)
If you have time, you should check out Malbork Castle. It's a bit north of Warsaw, but worth it. Largest teutonic castle in Europe.
Nice view from the rooftop garden... Wish I'd know of it last year...
Stayed in the Praga district last year...

Praga is more-less Warsaw's Bronx although is sort-of gentrified now, but old habits die slowly over there, be careful :)
Praga used to be a place where you wouldn't go even in broad daylight. Now it's turned into hipster town.
Lysy2 , your profile picture of Yoda always reminds me of the song “Seagulls! Stop it now!” 😂
Near the rooftop gardens on the Warsaw University Library, there are beautiful, new boulevards on the Vistula River. Have you been there? :)
i really luv watching your vlogs, they are so unique :)
Love hearing that!!
best regards !! you are great !
Thanks Jakub :)
Yes Praga use to be a very sketchy neighborhood now is more like Warsaw Brooklyn
Awesome city. I've always wanted to go there. Hope soon. Keep up the good work guys!
Thank you!

You can go and see the inside of our national stadium if you want :)))

2km worth of tubing? Damn, that's hard to fathom! Thanks Rex, lots more cool stuff to come of course!
If you saw the contrast of the test washed walls compared to the unwashed portion you'd be pretty blown away.
😍 soo beautiful
Stunning isnt it!
Why are the people from New Zealand so handsome? :( .Greetings from Warsaw! ;)
Hahaha not sure about that, but thanks anyway!
go "Łazienki" (bathrooms =P) Gardens next !

so sad that you've not able to filmed the full tour of the neon museum🙄 still I like it 😃😉 keep safe Kuya&Ate with all those constructions goin on 👍👍👍
It's crazy different here too, the internet I mean. LOL [your avid fan from the PH, now in the PH]
Hope you're enjoying being back!
Is that a Led Zeppelin t-shirt Stacey is wearing? I'll give that a thumbs up!
Haha yeah it is!
How much time you will stay in Poland, i think the music festival month starting at the end of the month
Won't be around for that sadly!
I'm your fan. Breadfan. :- p
oh, it's a pity filming inside the museum is so expensive. Any other videos from Poland planned or next ones would be from Romania?
One more to come along with some costs :)
6:36 Climbing forbidden. Given the fact it's not a sign you would normally see, someone must have tried it already
Yikes!!
It was open for everybody use for many years, I have no idea why they closed it, but it is a shame. Maybe someone jumped on the glass roof from it.
fredoslaw check timestamp once more
5:14 - it's maintenance access only.
Yup
Guys, what's that music at the end of your video? Is it DJ Grumble? I cannot find this song.
Pretty Lights :)
Hey guys
Are you still in Warsaw ?!
Would love to meet you guys :)

So I have to go to all the places that you have been to get some t-shirts I like 😂 Challenge accepted 💪
Haha they’re all mostly from NZ and Australia from memory - enjoy your trip! 😂😂
Always wanted to go there 🌏
