Hey guys, we've had a few comments asking what the name of the first restaurant we went to is. It's called W Starej Kuchni Restaurant and it's in Krakow Old Town. Hope this helps! ❤️
You are very nice and positive. The weather in Krakow changes often because there are mountains nearby. It's good that you chose this time of year, because at least there are not such crowds of tourists from all over the world as in summer. It was nice watching you.
I don't know if you know, but the legend of the Wawel Dragon was an inspiration for Andrzej Sapkowski when writing the short story "The Bounds of Reason" in Sword of Destiny. And in games from CD Projekt RED. Certainly in 2 and 3.
I am Polish and in my mid 30s, lived my whole life in Poland. Still not brave enough to visit Auschwitz. I don't like crying in front of strangers. My great grandfather died in Majdanek concentration camp. He wasn't a Jew, they were killing Poles as well and kidnapping blonde Polish children to germanize them, many were never returned to Poland. It's too hard for me.
We are off in less than a week very excited indeed. We are staying in between Jewish quarter and old square, ready to do all the walking and exploring. Fab video
I went to Krakow with my two daughters in March for a week. We loved it so much with plenty to do! (Bunny cafe/Auschwitz/Shooting range/old town/museums/wax works/markets) Now I'm struggling for any other places to go to that offers just as much as Krakow! .. Maybe Bulgaria if I can find enough things to do!

@@wiessiew9853 Thank goodness for Ryanair! From what I've observed, tourists choose Krakow mainly because of the cheap tickets, and once they're here - WOW!
*Rynek Główny, Kraków, Poland:* This enormous medieval square *is the largest market square in all of Europe!* It's a vibrant space bustling with activity, from merchants selling traditional crafts to horse-drawn carriage rides.

Hi there thank you so much! We absolutely loved the Vodka bar we went to. And it's super close to the Zapiekanki place. So you can grab a bite to eat before heading to drinks!
And - those vodkas You're drinking are just "mere" liquors in terms of strenght here. If it's not 40% at least its called a "ch.j a nie wódka", and our vodkas are up to 80% (łącka śliwowica for ex.) And TOM... How come YOU COULD EVEN DARE TO TRY ZAPIEKANKA WITHOUT MUSHROOMS? Man it's in better "taste" to not try it at all xd I forgive You as how come You would know it, but never ever next time without mushrooms :)
Jest dużo tradycyjnych potraw wege, ponieważ przez dużą część naszej historii mięso było bardzo rzadko spożywane. Nasza kuchnia to jednak głównie kuchnia chłopska.
There is a joke about the Louvre museum I bore you with. Two Russians exit the sight and been asked about their impressions. They say VERY VERY CLEAN, HUMBLE, MODEST BUT VERY CLEAN!

Hey there! We stayed in the Metropolo Krakow by Golden Tulip. It was quite a bit out of the city centre, around a 20 minute drive, but it was easy to get there by using Bolts!

Yeah course! We booked online with freewalkingtour.com. It's pay what you want at the end, and we paid about £20 for both of us. It takes you all across the old town, but they also have one in the Jewish Quarter and a Macabre one!
You made the same mistake like other tourists. Kraków and especially Kazimierz Has to be visited by night... Kraków is the Polish Las Vegas. This town lives late. All pubs are open until 2, 3 in the morning. And the atmosphere is completely different by night.

It is possible to eat vegan here, but it takes some logistics. Vegetarian is much easier, as this is what most of our ancestors diet was anyway.
