That sucks, I ordered this from PSA for pretty cheap. The selling point on the box was shake awake. The optic in my opinion was better than expected I threw it on a taurus tx22 competition and it ran flawlessly held zero its clear no issues. But yeah no shake awake just killed it for me. Wish i would of saw your vid before buying it.
The crimson trace 1250 does the same thing with the misrepresentation of the shake awake feature. The red dot will shut off after about 2 hours of inactivity, but to turn the light back on u have to hit the up button
Fake shake awake? Oh por petes sake! Yeah. I wouldnt carry this optic either with that feature alone. More like a flaw than a feature to me. For a range toy, yeah. I dont see why not.

@kevinarmstrong7469 I bought two from PSA the same way :/ unfortunately that feature is a "lie" "false" "ain't true".

Palm State Armory had it on sale for $74. I have used it yet.
