I tried this yesterday and could not get the Hammerhead to fire up. Ran this mission for the last two weeks and made a ton of money. Yea and I did the same thing you showed unless the Hammerhead was unfliable which did happen a few times. As for the content I like, its videos like this that help me get ahead in the game, or videos that show me how to do something better. To answer your question about moving through space, it really does not matter how you define it. Flying, moving or otherwise, in space or atmosphere you are moving through time and even that is questionable since time is a human construct. In the larger scheme of things time is irrelevant and becomes even less so if you factor in the multi-dimension theory. A tip for you, when you get in these ships that are damaged, to hold it in place so you can jump. Hold down the X key and that will most of the time halt the drift so you can jump. Another tip that works sometimes is to go to the ships items tab on the power menu and try and find the thruster that is blown or missing and turn off the thruster on the opposite side. Set your speed limiter to low and gradually work your way up in speed as far as you can.

Nice glitch you guys found. These missions are supposed to be for SRVs and Reclaimers, I made a pretty penny with both SRV and Reclaimer. I don't think the hhs are supposed to turn on. Correct me if i am wrong, but the whole game is a grind. Everything we do in the game earns us money to put towards in game ship purchases, there is literally nothing else to buy except fancy armor you cant loot. Everything else can be looted. I started playing in 3.17 and every patch has its big money making loop, 3.22 was salvage, i mean...it was called wrecks to riches afterall...3.23 will have a cash printing loop, we just don't know what it is yet i guess.
I’ve been saying redeemer this whole time and didn’t notice! Glad I didn’t put that in the thumbnail😅 Yeah that’s true though! There’s was the quantum mining around 3.17 I believe and I’m not sure when illegal cargo (aka drug trading) became a thing, but I made like 60 mil from that in 3.21. Nowadays, I wish I made 120 mil so I wouldn’t have to grind at all lately.
This was how good 3.22 was. It really wasn't bad. Master modes have changed everything now, including the scanner. If the server is running poorly switching from SCM-NVM modes (greater speed) takes several seconds
The only reason we are now grinding for no real profit is the crybabies... those people that sit around in their site-bought ships complaining others are getting money too fast. They don't want you to have fun, this is exactly the reason why I have not been playing anymore lately... the game is just not rewarding when you do a mission with two friends and you die. You go back to the store, buy new shit, wait for your ship and go again... and oh wait we spend four hours already and now I am alone... again. The same with trading, sure I'd haul one million worth of cargo if the profit was good... but there is literally nothing that is worth it right now. You make at most a few percent, you crash one... you get killed once... and you have do ten to twenty more of the same solo trips.... hours upon hours.... it is just not worth my time anymore. Farmed up to an 890, lost it the next day due to a reset that was not supposed to happen... I do it again, they reset again and now trading is nerfed to the ground... again.
Honestly would just scrap it with the reclaimer, the construction materials from one of those is worth over a million auec and it doesn’t take much longer

Well I dont think @RSI is expecting everyone in the game to buy a hammerhead, hoping they find other gameplay other than grinding to keep the player base going with the game. A good amount of ships take a crew to manage anyway, and the game will need low rank cadets that dont worry about buying the biggest ships, grunts that ride the in trooper carriers, unless they plan to add NPCs that players can hire. I hope they add gambling soon, ways to watch other players helmet cams in races or arena battles and make bets to make money. I saw the stage was set for it in GrimHex just wondering how they plan to make that one work. Instead of buying ships other ways to spend big money is going to be important and that for sure is one of the ways that would keep me from grinding to the biggest ships or still playing once I have already bought the biggest ship.

if u dont want to play the gameplay loop and get ships why dont u just buy them for real money ? or buy auec's that's how i feel because the main draw of the game are the ships and the gameplay loop is the gameplay like how people buy cod for multiplayer you still have to do a little bit of the story first to unlock it, some of the prices are kinda questionable but for the multi crew ships it makes sense especially now if you are running a crew2 vultures and a c2 or even a redeemer and c2 made so much money filling the c2 and redeemer up
I have a C1 Spirit! Best bang for my time because of that stock quantum drive. It’s not that I don’t want to do it, I just don’t have time to. Now that I have the reclaimer, I will be more action focused for future videos

Yeah they all killed the spawn rate of these missions as well. So times you get lucky to get several but then sometimes you can't wait hours before one appears hahah. Good fun though
Yeah I also noticed that! Server hopping seems to mitigate it though. I’ve found some servers that never give it because they’re super slow at updating the missions and others like the one in the vid that are money printers
so long story short, this is a good technique, but the REEEEALL money maker is the rare ??? quest that cost 999 creds. but the ??? quest makes you 175k every 20mins, its a cheaters wet dream but when you are there alone you can make millions just afking occasionally coming back every 20mins to restart it. i made 4 mill yesterday just doing it before a cheater came to me and headshotted me via leg shots, then shot me down 15km away. still made a ton of cash.
Oh yeah forgot to mention. You have to do a couple of regular salvage missions before it pops up in your personal. Try to get someone to lend you a vulture if you don’t have one already
The game becomes dry because there is NOTHING to spend the money on besides ships and no progression. Repair and refuel and laughably cheap, no penalty for death, ship components don’t get lost when your ship is destroyed so you only have to buy them once. We desperately need these money sinks otherwise the game is in limbo. It’s farrrr to easy to make money and there is nothing to spend it on
Not everyone has a fast method to make money. I made 6 mil doing this in a couple hours of grinding spread through 2 days. Bought a reclaimer with the rest of the money and if our ships haven’t been wiped for 3.23, I will still have the reclaimer Sorry you have that mindset but it wasn’t for nothing… maybe late, but that’s all
I like the game play vids personally. Really tiresome seeing all the SC Content Creators talk about what CIG said on SCL and picking apart every sentence like a forensic detective. Keep up the tips and game play, it's alot to do in the game that players don't know how they want to play the game.

You can still do this, but the profit margins are no where close. If you have no ships, this might help get you enough for a rental prospector which might help you make more money
but.. you're not playing the game dude.... you're cheating the game by using shortcuts and tricks to make money. That's like stealing someone's money before you complete a deal. Just to point that out to you. Game is designed to play 6 hrs /day or more due to the economy balance. You need to change not the economy. Don't take it the bad way, that's just my opinion.
Get out of here wasting your breath like that. CIG keeps wiping progress so all of that doesn't matter as the devs dont respect our time. Buy what you want and have fun. Doesn't matter how you go there as it ultimately changes nothing.

I think you need to grind rep in salvage missions before hammerhead missions pop up.

I make 200k a h with taurus with lx-1qt risk free way and then i switch to volture and play till i fill ship with 34boxes and sell for 400k
For those who hate the grind, this should make it much quicker!

its full wipe for 3.23 have not played for months now waiting just for this wipe money everything will be wiped exept for paid gears ships paints etc

Yes it absolutely does! You need to QT to the salvage site, let the mission update, QT back to Yela, then QT back to the salvage site
