Got a love Tom’s plumbing antics . Best bits loads of panting “it won’t undo I can’t get to it it just won’t come then bingo 😄” love it mate … Proper plumbing ! Even better when you’re mopping up the excess water . If you don’t go home with wet trousers then you’ve not really done a proper days work as a plumber .. Well that’s my experience anyway. 😂😂
If helps, that stuck prv...the hole at end the spanner I put a screwdriver through it for xtra leverage and let the tools do the brunt!! ✌️ Crackin vid lad, toit space...like a toiger!! 🤟🥳
Another excellent one Tom sometimes a bit of thought by builders for future servicing and accessibility would be nice regarding those tanks i think sometimes they purposely put them in the worst positions for a laugh have a good one mate
Brilliant video as usual! For a minute I thought you were going to have to go and get a big stilson on that valve! Well done, it looked incredibly tough! Thanks for posting Tom.
I was getting close to needing them, if I hadn't had been in a roof I probably would have fetched a bigger spanner, thanks for watching as always Steve
Hi Tom, that roof space looked very tight to work in, but you got the job sorted well done. I can’t remember when I last had a cistern come off a toilet so easy, it’s usually a wrestling match to remove those nuts and bolts. Another great film thank you Tom, have a great week and take care. 👍👍👍
They certainly were show horned in there, I blame the designers not the the plumbers though, all they were likely asked to do is fit them, thanks for the support as always PB
I never noticed it at the time, the outlets were all blended but it could be why the tprv had gone off, in theory the stat should click off though, if I go back I will turn it off, thanks for watching
great work there tom it looked very toastie in that loft area. while you where fitting that toilet cistern, you had someone watching in the corner.... 15:09 some say he's a driver and others say he's a plumber but we know him as the....
Two cylinders, is that because the property is that large or the household that big? With the two expansion vessels it almosts seems like there were separate systems here, or is one the hot tap water, and the other one for the central heating (they looked to be in-line but a video never shows everything).
The cylinders weren't linked, it was a small care home annexe so I guess one probably fed the kitchen and the other did the showers and taps, thanks for watching mate
I blame the designers a lot of the time, buildings like this should have a proper plant room, plumbing always seems to be an after thought, thanks for watching as always mate 👍
@@PlumbLikeTomyeah that’s one of those jobs you are usually on your back laid in crap and struggling to reach and kicking your legs out in frustration. Remember it well.
That is true but you can't always tell which valve is discharging, they are linked before the tundish so often you need to disconnect them to see which is passing, thanks for watching 👍

Be the day builders, most installers & sparkys think of service/repair engineers!! 🤷♀️✌️
Blimey Tom that was tight in that roof space .good job you did not have to take the tank out ..that would be fun 👍👍👍
I don't think that cylinder will come out without the ceiling coming down, a problem for another day, thanks for watching as always John
Great video Tom, I did feel your pain undoing the valve in the loft. Hope you have an easy week. 👏👏

That temp valve was tight Tom, as my old gaffer used to say “ not holding your mouth right” when jobs were tricky, always helped 🤪🪠🚽👍
It certainly didn't want to come out, I needed to threaten it more, thanks for the support as always Peter
Them cylinders were in a tight spot Tom 😮 Great video mate 👍😎

12:10 that switch is on, looks like it goes to the immersion on that tank. Maybe that’s why the water is too hot?
I never noticed it at the time, the outlets were all blended but it could be why the tprv had gone off, in theory the stat should click off though, if I go back I will turn it off, thanks for watching
Nice one Tom 👍🏻
Thanks for the support as always Shaun
Not a whole lot of thought went into the design of that ‘plant room in the sky’🤣
I blame the designers and not so much the plumbers, thanks for the support as always Norman

That expansion vessel looks to small to me
It was a 12l, it was likely right for a 120l or a 150l cylinder, I think it's what it should be but someone will correct me, thanks for watching

Yes you are right on that
How much do you rate yourself as a plumber out of 10؟؟ Honestly,

Cant stand plastic fillers. I always buy the brass one now. Waste of money buying plastic because i'm too ham fisted and ruin 30% of them.
