    It's a simple, basic watch with a retro hypnotic appeal in front of so many current models we still want the iconic f-91w

    I got three of them. One to wear, one for a spare and one to keep in mint condition. Nice tracksuit too. Also something to keep in mind. People like myself that get this watch because we think that we had it as a kid, were mostly wrong. I looked further and the Japanese F84W is actually what most people probably had. Got two of them coming soon too

      That’s a great idea to keep a few on the side! To my understanding the F-84W was the equivalent of the 91W for the Japanese market, so I hadn’t realized it’s prevalence elsewhere! I’ve considered picking one up myself and still might! There are so many cool different versions of these Casio’s, I love to learn about the different ones. I just recently saw the F-201WA-9AJF and was very intrigued as well! Definitely a cool model if you’re interested in checking it out.
      Thanks for the tracksuit compliment, I appreciate it as well as your comment and view!
      Have a good one,

      That’s awesome! If you enjoy simplicity and good function, I think you’ll love the watch.
      I put mine on every day when I get home, wear it overnight to sleep, use the alarm to wake up, use the timer to make my coffee, and then swap out for a different watch when I leave for work.
      The F-91W is probably my favorite watch I own. Enjoy yours and if you have any questions once you get it, leave a comment and hopefully I can answer!

    Im absolutely in love with this little watch, of course I love rolex and Omega watches, but this model is just too hard to resist, I see it on my shelf and I just want to wear it, I take it everywhere. My wife wears the same model with different colors, she loves having fun with it.

      I’ve been trying to get my partner to start wearing one forever! She has really small wrists, so we might have to look into a children’s watch for her lol. Glad to hear another out there who can see the beauty in this watch! Thanks for the comment and view.

      I wish I could get my wife to wear one-she won’t. 😑 I think the pink F-91w is just AWESOMENESS for a woman to wear! 🔥

      The Casio F91 is certainly a good digital watch because of its simplicity and accurate time keeping. It's very light on the wrist so very comfortable to wear all day. If the backliight is troublesome for some wearers of this watch then for a little bit more you could purchase the Casio F105 which is very similar in size and functionality but uses the illuminator technology and really lights up the screen. I don't have the F91 myself and that is the main reason I opted for the F105 for the backliight alone.and it's just as much fun to wear as a good sports watch. I live in the UK so had to purchase my F105 from Amazon US Global Store which only took 10 days from the US to my home here in England. I am wearing it now as we speak. Thanks for your review and opinion of the Casio F91.

    Had one as a kid. Than I had a black Twincept AQX-11. Than Twincept ABX 53 Databank silver. After that I got an Edifice but unfortunately wasn't stainless so it got yellow and I never got back to Casio.
    Just ordered f91 and I can't wait to arrive!
    Still rocking a small wrist.

      I cannot stop singing high praise for the F91, it’s an amazing watch. It’s actually pretty cool because I’ve been noticing colleagues wearing it at work. You can definitely see the comeback it is making just generally speaking in society.

      @@Stanjara I casually mention Casio as a “god tier” watch when chatting with colleagues to see if I can find any other Nico viewers lol. Couldn’t agree more though, the function is so tough to beat for the price you pay.

      Couldn’t agree more. Nothing has changed since I got this watch. I still average a minimum of 90 hours of wrist time a week with this watch. I use it to time my coffee every morning, I use it to time food while I cook, and I still use it as my daily alarm. The cost of this watch compared to the use I get out of it is unreal. This watch is what I expect to see nearly every time I look at my wrist.
      Thanks for sharing your experiences with the watch! Super glad to have your view and interaction. Have a great day!

    I liked same looking and sized Casio W-59. It's a bit better visibilty or water resist and tactile to wear.

    A good companion to the F-91 could be the W-201-1AV. Comfortable to wear with big digits. Please do not confuse with the F-201WA-1AV.

    Hi, I’m confused in between F91W vs AE1200

    • @AlecsAngle
      @AlecsAngle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey A B, thanks for commenting and watching. I personally don’t own an AE1200, but from what I’ve researched, here are the major differences.
      F-91W: tracks one time, has a single alarm, and a chronograph (used to time things aka a stopwatch).
      AE1200 aka the World Timer: this can track time in 5 total time zones and you can switch between them so you can see times around the world. You can also keep an alarm associated with each individual time zone.
      Both of these watches have a backlight function. It seems the overlapping features are telling time and an alarm. The biggest differences being the stopwatch for the F91-W and the alternate time zones for AE1200.
      My personal recommendation would depend on your use. If you travel to alternate time zones frequently or have family, friends, or clients in other time zones you need to track, the AE1200 is the watch for you. If you are looking for a daily watch with excellent function, a slim profile, and useful functions on a daily basis, the F91-W would be the watch for you.
      Considering their relatively low price tags, you could also always buy one and then the other if you really are interested in both. Hope this helps!

    I have the F-91W. Way too small. I wear a Casio World Time AE1200 gold or bronze.

    • @AlecsAngle
      @AlecsAngle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely agree that the F-91W is on the smaller end of watches. I think it lends itself well to the versatility among ages and unisex wearability. The more I wore mine, the less odd the size seemed. I could absolutely see though how you would feel it is too small.
      Thank you for your view and comment! I’ve been meaning to pick up a World Time for a while now and your comment is another nudge toward it!

      @@AlecsAngle The Casio World Time is considered to be a game changer by many watch collectors. It's $20, water resistant to 100m, has 5 great sounding alarms, a great back light, a cool looking display with a map, and depending on the model it can be very fashionable. I'm considering even getting the metal band one for fun after awhile. You know that feeling you get when you don't want your watch messed up? I kind of get that with this cheap watch for some reason.

    • @AlecsAngle
      @AlecsAngle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@user-pi6vz5hr3c the different modes are excellent points! As of right now, I use the single alarm and chronograph feature daily on my F-91W. From what you’re saying and what I’ve heard, I’ll get that and more with the World Time!
      I completely understand what you mean about babying your inexpensive watches. Even though I know it’s water resistant, I find myself taking off my F-91W when showering or even washing dishes to protect it lol.
