In order of appearance the orchids today are:
1. Phalaenopsis Taisuco Jasper, a wonderful peloric pulcherrima hybrid!
2. Yellow gold NoID Cattleya, which has the most wonderful red edged lip!
3. A NoID Oncidium type which looks like the Lazio, but it's better :P
4. A Miltoniopsis NoID hybrid with a white edge around the glower!
5. Another Oncidium hybrid which I believe is Vuylstekeara Jerry Lawless, one of the varieties.
6. Oncidopsis Bartley Schwarz White, one of my old time favorites!
7. Oncostele Wildcat, one of the many beautiful varieties!
8. Oncostele Catatante, another old time favorite!

That orange-flared lip in the Cattleya ; amasing.

And omg you mentionned Sunset Valley Orchids. I keep stumbling upon their website when looking at mini cattleya pictures. They do incredible hybridizing work with mini-catts. Sadly, we rarely get the good stuff in Québec.
Anything but standart Phalaenopsis hybrids is so rare to come by. Thankfully we have orchid shows in our two largest cities and sellers bring interesting stuff, especially at Montréal. Laval also has Le Paradis des Orchidées, interesting stuff there too.

It's indeed Burrageara Lazio. There are 2 Charges on the market, the first one is older and was by the manufacturer Top Orchids, it is more reddish in colour and has a better and stronger fragrance. Mine filled the room when it was sunny outside. The 2nd one is the one you got. It is quite common nowadays at least in Europe and is by the manufacturer Inca orchids. It is fragrant too, but not as much as the first one and not all the time. Some people even say it has no scent at all. I have both of them and like the first one much more. :)

I have to say from this haul, the Odontoglossum is probably my favorite. Its bloom colors are a very attractive analogous color scheme, with the orange centers then going to the purple petals with magenta halos. Very nice find! :)
I actually just bought the Phal Taisuco Jasper today at a local big box store. Those are always no-ID here. Thanks for the ID! It was going to be called "Mr. Peacock" so I'm sure it thanks you too, lol! Congrats on the merchandise!

Likely Miltoniopsis ID : Miltoniopsis Red Knight.
Big flowers, nice citrus smell. Blooms once or twice a year, lasting 6 to 8 weeks.
Does NOT like to dry, hates dry air, tolerates up to 30°C only if humidity is high.
I received that phalaenopsis as a valentine's gift from my bf, here in Bulgaria, so happy to see her in your video! She is so sparkly, she looks like an orchid unicorn to me 🦄

Just bought two phals, I've tried orchids before and they died, but I've been watching your videos so hopefully I can keep mine alive this time. I saw some dendrobiums at the store, which is the first time I've ever seen those around here, but I didn't get one since I hadn't watched any videos on their care. They were very interesting though!
I understand you very well about cutting off new bulbs. I remember receiving Dendrobium Sunset with no leaves at all.
It was in bloom and someone decided it would be nicer so.
What a haul. I wish I could find half of what you did anywhere locally. Even the ones in distress are better than what I am able to find locally. I guess it’s because we don’t have flower shops that carry orchids. Usually they are in the hardware big box stores. So kiddos to you and congrats on your finds. That phal is gorgeous!

Another great video. Don’t forget to watch it in 1080p! Wonderful. Can we watch you repot that last one? It’s easy to repot a small orchid but I’ve got two that need repotting this year and they are huge and I’m nervous about getting the right sized larger pot. Love your videos.

Dani, Do you have a video on Rhyncostylis, Vasco, and Vascostylis? I have been having trouble finding videos about their care. Love your new selections. Been repotting my cattleyas. They were in leca growing outdoors. Not doing well, but since I am seeing new root growth now I decided to switch them back to an organic medium. Last year wasn't good on them as they had to be moved in the winter to a new location in the yard. (Iguanas were eating them. YUCK!) Oh....and do you have a video on dividing the Coconut orchid? I have one that is ready for this procedure. Thanks, for your videos.....and love the new merchandise.

The only good thing about that cocopeat for orchids imo is how easy it is to get them out if it. I know some use it with success but I can’t imagine myself ever planting into it. Some of my houseplants are also in it and I just can’t figure out how to water them right rant over lol.

Hi Danny. Probably they cut because of damaged display and made the whole presentation unsightly or rotting. Just close up with cinnamon and hot wax and it'll push out the new eyes like nothing happened, is in good hands. Great seeing you back and refreshed from the weekend. Do enjoy long format too.
What a gorgeous haul! I think I might have the cataracts, it just came in a pot that said ‘odontoglossum’ but I’m not sure if that’s possibly the catanate. It looks identical to your, had a ginormous flower spike that was bent over one of those little arches. Huge pseudo bulbs. Absolutely gorgeous big orchid. I love her a lot. Not sure who she is with no ID. Would it be possible to find a catatante labelled odontoglossum? Sorry for the total newbie question. I’ve only been collecting since the autumn. Your videos have been invaluable for me, thank you for teaching so well . Yours is my fave TH-cam channel to watch by far :)
i have two catatantes, but the "tiger" version, not the sweet kiss (the one with brown and yellow flowers, not rusty and yellow) and i keep both of them in large pots (15cm) and i have water trays under them. i basically water them heavily by firstly showering them (big dudes get dusty fast) and then i leave water in the trays. which is a no-no-no, i know. but it helps with my eastern european climate in the summer. rebloomed them once in two years. they grow fast and big and two of them help me shade an entire window. jungle eyes :)

Got a similar Cattleya, no. 2, maybe from the same greenhouse ‘cause the pseudobulbs on the edge have been cut too.. I’ve found pictures searching with the name “Rhyncattleanthe” hope it helps finding the ID

It is the lazio, color has just changed because of temperature it happened to mine ;) I have the same and she is a b***h ... she grew two bulbs in almost a year, produced three spikes per bulb, dried two and on the third one made only 5 flowers... I am reeeeeally tempted to trush it =*

Question; 3 weeks ago, I repotted (in leca) a massive Phal I recently purchased on sale. It was potted in spagnum moss and a coconut plug. 😕Since the repotting the blooms are getting a tiny bit of black on the edges of some of the flowers. I’m freaking out! Is there anything you might think it could be, or how I can stop it?
I did move it outside, but it doesn’t get direct sun.
