      Thank you! Those are two great options - the on road performance and efficiency of the A250e is almost unmatched while the A35 is one of the most impressive B-road hunters I've come across. Have you seen our video on the A250e? th-cam.com/video/Jenvlc0PgYw/w-d-xo.html

    Excellent presentation, is it me or is the interior slightly overwhelming? Have you seen the interior of the new S Class? It could be me having a senior moment! Have a Peaceful Christmas. 🙏🙏

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me I've spent lots of time in and around everything from COMAND 2.0 to the new MBUX systems. The operating logic is vastly the same from 2002 right up to 2020. Where the S-Class will excel is with the ergonomics - lowering the main infotainment will definitely make navigating the system on the move even easier. We'll see similar layouts to the new S-Class across the range soon. Stay tuned and have a great Christmas too!

    since the gear is on the same level as the indicator are there any safety features to prevent switching the gear when you thought it was an indicator while the car is in motion ?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is only possible to shift into neutral whilst in motion - this can be necessary in the event of a mechanical fault. Otherwise, the car needs to be stationary with your foot on the brake before the car will allow you to shift from between park, reverse, neutral and drive.

    So the only way to have to the burmester sound system is to get the AMG 35 in premium plus? If so, is that the same rule for the C class line as well?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's right - for the compact models it is only available starting with the AMG 35 range in Premium Plus specification. From the C-Class family and above it is available with AMG Line Premium Plus. At the moment, the Burmester surround sound option in some models is being affected by the semiconductor shortage but we expect this to be resolved in the not too distant future.

    */ Does the Mercedes A200 hatchback and saloon model both come with automatic foldable door mirrors and front and back parking cameras and sensors?
    */ Is the saloon model more spacious and more comfortable to sit in as a driver or passenger in the front and at the back compared to the hatchback model?
    */ Is the saloon model filled with more gadgets and more technology than the hatchback model?

    Hello, which models/Packs come with the 64 colour ambient lighting as standard?
    Thanks!

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Multicolour ambient lighting is included with the Premium and Premium Plus models. More info about equipment lines can be found in the brochure here: tools.mercedes-benz.co.uk/current/passenger-cars/e-brochures/new-a-class-w177.pdf

      @@LandLAutomotive thank you! Is this the same across the full car line up or just on the A Class?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@arttekkers5615 This is broadly similar across the model range in the UK - the exceptions are the EQA, EQC, E-Class, GLE and S-Class which get this included with every equipment level as standard. Generally speaking, if a new A-Class has the interior air vents in silver it will have ambient lighting - the vents on their own look amazing at night!

  • @RawrCookieMonster56

    what's the difference between premium and one that's not? Also how do i know if it has ambient lightening or not?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main differences are the silver topped door handles which signify keyless entry, twin 10.25in displays and the multicolour ambient lighting. Premium equipment line models also come with aluminium trim which extends into the front doors.

      @@LandLAutomotive but if the theft wants to get in they can manually activate the start button ?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The key must be within the car in order for the engine to start. I've held the key out of an open window whilst sitting within an A-Class and it would not start until the key was within the cabin. The new keys have a sleep mode which will deactivate the key if it hasn't moved for two minutes to improve security.

    Is the Mercedes A-Class A200 hatchback smaller or the same length as the saloon version and does it have a bigger, smaller or the same size boot. Are all A-Class Mercedes cars fitted with AMG engines?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The width and wheelbase are identical for the two models but the saloon is 130 mm longer overall with a longer rear overhang. For boot sizes, the saloon is 405 litres whilst the hatch is 355 litres with the parcel shelf in place; removing this raises boot capacity to 435 litres. The AMG engines come in the A 35 and A 45 S for this market.

      Can you get AMG internal and external styling in some Mercedes A-Class 200 hatchbacks and saloons models but without having the larger and more powerful sporty engines of the A 35 and the A 45 S models?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely, most new A-Class models come as AMG Line with the exterior styling and two-piece bucket seats for the hatch and three-piece sport seats for the saloon. AMG floor mats, trim pieces and wheels all feature too.

    I had a brand new 2019 a200d premium, I will be honest I hated it, maybe I was unlucky, I came from a c class, I found the interior in terms of quality not as nice feeling, the suspension was crashy over bumps, fuel tank slosh round corners, numerous interior rattles, and a auto gearbox that never knew what gear it wanted. Luckily I managed to swap the car for a newer c class that Is great. Lesson learnt for me.

    and then difference between a35 and a45?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The difference between the two AMG models is not only in the styling - the AMG A 45 S gaining completely new front bodywork and a reprofiled rear bumper - but also with the engines. Though they share the same displacement and cylinder count the AMG A 45 S has a brand new hand built engine generating 421 hp. To drive they are both enjoyable and rewarding; the on road performance of the AMG A 45 S is like nothing I've experienced before in a hot hatch.
