I'd put metal chafe bands over the hose where it is close to other components. Once you fill the line with fluid, and run the engine, the hose will vibrate some, and could chafe through if you don't.

Thanks for that tip. This video is alittle older and we never had an issue thankfully

tip - i found it wayyy easier if you put the hose in the vise and get a socket big enough for the hose end ... slips on super easy than cranking while you push in

You can hear the female side n it will expand just enough so it will tighten all the way up. A lot of ppl leave it like that n it leaks or doesn't look as good. There was a video on here that I seen that only one guy did that like I did. But ya just use a reg propane torch n heat it n it will tighten all the way up. It might be just as hard since that is China I'm not for sure. But just keep heating it until you can turn it n it will eventually button up. Hope that helps, I'm in the middle of a build also n I have to even ask or look for some of the new stuff

Yea I’ve actually done that to some of the hoses. Idk why I didn’t do that to this one. Maybe this was before I learned that trick. It never did leak though.

i used to but alot of stuff off amazon and ive ran a bunch of nylon braided AN hose and hose ends. and i had the PTFE braided hose and hose ends on my truck and customer cars and ive never had one fail before. i buy local now just to support the people that support me . but when it come to alcohol i wouldnt use it but the amazon PTFE stuff ive never had a issue for 3 years on ignite E90. but for radiator hose its not gonna be corrosive nor will it see barely any pressure so i wouldnt worry about it

That shit aint going to leak lol, i mounted the suction side of the pump directly to the radiator with a short piece of hose and T bolt clamps. Also have a bracket welded to the radiator to help hold the pump some although the hose from pump to engine holds it fine, just a little more security on drag n drive events so the radiator outlet doesnt crack.

You’re smart. Always better to be safe than sorry right. And yea I don’t think it’ll leak either.

I purchased some of that Chinese A/N line and fittings and cursed that junk until the day I tossed that sh*t in the trash can. Admittedly I was using them on fuel and oil lines.
