You could try some wd 40 on those hose fittings, may help clean out the trash in the fitting, spray a little and work, spray a little and work it.

I run a factory alternator in reverse due to fitment issues in my beetle. No charging issues here!

Man if you were here and seen the force that I used to snug that thing down you’d say yea she’s good lol. Unless you mean the play in the swivel and if so this yes I was also wondering about that

On that water fitting put some marking compound or something (bearing grease, antiseize) on the AN side and retighten it and if the face shows a print of full seat let it eat, i also put a dab of marine grade anti seize on every an fitting to prevent galling/seizing anyway.

Yea we did a -6 an 90* fitting under the intake to a vacuum manifold so if intake needs to come off then its TB cable, intake tube and one vacuum fitting to come off...of course bolts.
That alternator will charge turning in either direction, not sure where people get that from as most supercharger kits reverse the stock alternators with no issues ive seen and have ran numerous alternators backwards with success too. Even the Ecoboost alternator thats controlled by the factory ECM on my 84 mustang works backwards but it is charging 18v and i need to install a regulator to 14v but its charging
