Barnsey, Farnsey and Diesel - the Trifecta of Aussie music.
"In the Midnight Hour" from this same performance is another must listen to and really shows Diesel's amazing voice.
John is definetly the GOAT!
I love that Johnny "Diesel" (guitarist) adds a perfect high harmony as he joins in at the end to make that gorgeous 3 part harmony ❤
This is best version to react too as well..live and hear all their voices
Thanks for another wonderful reaction to Farnsey and the amazing Jimmy Barnes and Diesel on guitar 😊👍 ❤
This is my favourite live performance of these 3 legends doing this song. Nothing tops their talent and passion - you can see it in their faces. They are having a ball 😊
And yes, to me and so many others, John is the GOAT!! Love him and his beautiful voice 😍 ❤❤
Jimmy’s voice.. wow you can’t beat that soul he is just phenomenal!! ❤
🌸💕 Hi my friend. Long time no speak. Hope you are doing well…… Maybe he should check out Jimmy’s band, Cold Chisel singing this in 1982, that you have remastered on your channel. Hint Hint 😂
Love this version. Our Aussie boys are the best!! ❤😊🎉 John is the GOAT and Jimmy is our Rock & Soul King. Both fantastic family men and love performing for us. Diesel, the guitarist is Jimmys brother-in-law and is a great singer/songwriter in his own right. Cheers 😍😂🎉
Well said Debb 😊❤❤ Absolute GOAT!!!!! 😍
John is the GOAT. He is a phenomenal singer, a magnificent stage performer, and a beautiful human being. He was lead singer for Little River Band for a while in the 1980s and then his solo career took off. He is never reluctant to do charity concerts such as drought relief, and he was awarded Australian of the Year in 1988 for his involvement in charity work and his contribution to the Australian Music Industry. He is known in the international music industry and has sung with people such as Tom Jones (he actually did a tour with Tom Jones), Celine Deon, Richard Marx, Ray Charles. John is 75 now and recently won a battle with cancer. He will probably never sing again but if he did, it would be a sell out. He is that loved. 🥰🥰
Yes. If John performed in public again, I'd be there in a flash. I really enjoyed one of his last performances for Hay Mate (charity for struggling farmers 4 years ago) - his voice - aged 70 was still pitch perfect and he and the band had a blast, as well as the audience!
I hate to say this, but it's hard to top our Aussie legends. Even more so, when they sing together.. No one comes close...😁❤
So true Jojo 👍 😅
How lucky we are to have them. Now, if you'll excuse me, onto the next Farnsey reaction I go.... 😉🚶♀️🎶 ❤❤
In the land of down under we are so proud of our boys. By the way Jimmy Barnes and Johnny Diesel on the guitar are brothers- in-law. Great reaction as always 🎉
Aussie icons though...now you have found John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes and Johnny Diesel
You should check out Jimmy Barnes singing a duet with Tina Turner “simply the best”, bro you will love it
Nothing will equal our Aussie legends ❤❤ It doesn’t matter how or when you get to learn about John at least you got there and we love ya for it
You’re too young to have heard of him. He had no.1 singles and/or albums in every decade from 1967 to a 2016 Christmas album with Olivia Newton John. From 18 to 67. He’s now 75. An amazing musician with a brilliant voice.
Great reaction and yes the world missed the opportunity of enjoying our Aussie icons for decades. Had TH-cam been around 50 years ago John would have been the first to sign up as he didn’t like the way record companies wanted to control his content. Must listen to John live: when the War is Over, Angels, Touch of Paradise and the duet he did with our beautiful Olivia Newton John called Please don’t Ask Me from the Main Event Concert (outstanding).
Back in the day, both John and Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel) tried to make it in the American market but the U.S. music industry were not interested in them, Jimmy's song 'You got nothing I want' says it all really, th-cam.com/video/-BiJKq7ynms/w-d-xo.html
Yes! Please do this one!!! Proof you can play piano with a clenched fist
The third singer is Diesel...who also has had a long career in Australia.
So glad you're in the deep rabbit hole- keep it up!😊
❤❤
Great reaction and appreciation of great music.
Yes we love John here in Oz.
Check out any live performances.
Enjoy mate.
Both John and Jimmy Barnes are legends
You should check out Jimmy with his band Cold Chisel who are said to be the best band to come out of Australia, even ahead of INXS and AC/DC
Jimmy also has a great solo career and has sung many duets including singing with INXS (goodtimes) Tina Turner (your the best)
You are NOT in a hole😄 both these guys are strictly AUSSIE heroes, they CHOSE it that way
Definately Check out Johnny Diesel also! Its great to see the Americans finally discovering some of the Aussie GOATS!!
He tried to break into the US market...singles released, toured as lead for Little River Band, did movie soundtracks....but it never took off so he came home saying Americans just don't get me and he gave up on it. But yes he is ThE GOAT.
Mate, the older generation understands that BEFORE the internet, we had World class everything before alot knew where we were. I'm still trying to work out whp Puff diddy diddy P is, I mean.. I remember a Puff the Magic Dragon :) Lovin' ya work.
But have they heard him sing You’re the Voice in the riot scene in Hot Rod?
You should check out In the Midnight Hour with Jimmy Barnes John Farnham and Diesel live😁
