I had one just like that in blue when I was a kid, it was a 2003.
I just "fixed" a "extreme machine" same as this quad. I got it running when the throttle stuck and quickly ran over my leg and hit the garage wall.
I had the rear end of my Honda Odyssey on a little jack to keep the wheels up while I was trying to get it running…and of course, the throttle stuck and the jack kicked out and it launched into the side of my garage door!😂

Do you kno how the throttle cable goes it has two cables and I’m not sure what or where they go too buddy I kno one goes in the carb but not about the other two if u can help I would greatly appreciate it

Ive never seen the inside of a carb look so bad.
The emulsion tube can be a sod to get clean.
Hi zx8401ztv! That was a very nasty carburetor indeed. I had to do some googling to find out what sod means, must be a british word haha. I've never seen you comment on one of nononsenseknowhow's videos before! Hes my favorite youtuber :D
