Are you guys getting tired of the buggy? No worries. Crazy new projects on the way! and finishing the f150 truck. Unfortunately the corona virus has cancelled our plans of taking this thing to the jeep trails this week. Hope everyone stays safe out there and keep your head up
I am blown away by what you have accomplished at such a young age. I love what you have done to the kart!! I hope you keep going with it, lights/body panels etc!
Thank you for addressing the issue of the clutch pulley orientation . This is very important information that many people are unaware of. I made some videos of the same subject of a 40 series on my 18hp kart. Love your channel and keep up the great videos!
BryDuhBikeGuy I know! how do people actually dislike this stuff! I have a channel and over the years I found there’s subscriber trolls that build up over time, they are loyal subscribers that don’t miss any time hitting the thumbs down button 😂 pricks.
Most times gut feeling builds are the best, am glad it worked for this project. He pushes through, he is young, has plenty of time to burn. Nice build! LOL, "All right everyone, time to wake up, out of bed, chop chop..."
Man this is bad ass. I built one and put a cr100f motor in it. I blew it up tho. I want to build one like this and put a crf450 motor in it. Love this thing. Keep this up. Your a great fabricator and mechanic for this stuff. Really awesome
I'm definitely not get tired of new Buggy videos! How about making it 4X4 drive? Maybe show more views of the whole buggy because it looks cool and interesting with all you've done to it! This project is a work of art and a labor of love my friend! Welding, fabricating projects like this from home would be therapy for me. I'm a bartender (was, thanks COVID19) at a busy resort in Temecula Ca. I'd much rather be doing what you do...!
It’s definitely binding up now , he has the moveable half of the primary on the side of the stationary half of the secondary. You can see the belt bend in the vid. He needs to spin the primary around first, then , float the secondary if you can keep it free floating and not binding on the shaft
Interesting, I’ve never heard that before. How much “float” room do you need the give the pulley? I’m curious about this as I’m working on a kart with a comet 40 series. I’ve been in contact with Comet tech support and this was never mentioned. I’ll attach the link for the Comet 40 series for your review. If you have a video of the floating driven I would be interested in viewing it. Thanks! www.bmikarts.com/pdf/comet_40series.pdf
Pretty sick. Harbor freight motors are legit. I blew my 420cc predator motor threw the rod bearing but rebuilt it with honda parts. Now it's real solid.
The cvt alignment isn't correct and it appears to only be transitioning half way something is wrong with it, it could be to stiff of a contra spring or rollers are to light or the belt is to short. I'm glad to see you back at work this has come a long way and looks fun!
It is, he spun the primary clutch around backwards, that put the moveable half of it on the stationary half of the secondary, the thing is fighting itself bending the belt sideways, watch it closer. The stationary halves need to be on the same side. Yes the work opposite of each other, but the belt follows the stationary sides.
Holy smokes little brother that buggy is bad ass I’ve been away for a while been trucking then come back Home and then turn on TH-cam and look what you went and built! Now I want one! Great job man I love the tires the suspension engine is amazing great job man
Aren't those called pillowblock bearings!? Haha! Right on man! Glad to see someone is having fun getting their wrench on and fabrication times having a good time!!!
My grandpa has one of these and I was hesitating on buying it since it is only 250cc but after seeing what you did with it, man it makes me want to get his. His is the bigger one too with independent rear suspension.
Well I would build it like you did but probably with a motorcycle engine. I was just saying that your videos have shown me what it could look like with a lot of work. Thanks again for the videos!
Just a thought. Knowing a little bit about aluminum and metal fatigue, I've personally avoided aluminum rocker arms on all my engine builds. Rockers that come in a china-white box scare the hell out of me. Liking the fire extinguisher addition. Smart move.
They use the same CVT system on snowmobiles. Ski Doo even had a snowmobile back in the day called the Alpine, it was a large work type machine and used a CVT system with two belts side by side for high torque applications like pulling heavy loads, nice buggy by the way.
What a blast! Hope you aren't bugging your neighbors with your buggy! I keep waiting to see someone step out with a shotgun for tearing up their yard. lol

On my 4 wheeler I replaced every other weight to a lighter one you might want to try that to get a different weight combo with out buying more weights?
I should make the gearing a little higher it sounds like it has more than enough power and torque to handle that. Overall what a beast of a machine man!!😂
No offense, That's a very bad idea. How would I know how much oil comes out? Engine oil desiged to be in engine not on a chain. A catch can actually helps to keep the engine oil inside the engine and when excessive pressure builds up it lets the engine vent out
Hey man cool video. That's an awesome little cart you have. Did you put any type of oil baffling inside the crankcase to prevent the oil from sloshing around. It doesn't seem like you have any issue with oil/ and excessive smoking. I had that engine on a stump grinder and every time I change the pitch it would Splash oil into the cylinder smoking out the yard. Then I put a different one on a go-kart and every time we did a hard right it would smoke everything out.
Hey bro maybe i can help you out .Noticed right off the bat i can see the belt is riding too low in the Driven clutch to begin with .That will kill the bottom end power on initial takeoff. Its like trying to start off in second gear. Should be a hair above the top of sheave after everything is properly aligned with approximately an inch or so of deflection under light pressure. First thing you should do is put that primary (Drive) clutch back the way it was , Second put a thin metal STRAIGHT EDGE like an engineers stick. yard stick ect. that is about a 1/16 thick and not bent clinched between the secondary (Driven) sheaves and rest it on top of the Primary clutch shaft, If the secondary sheaves dont pinch the bar tight you probally have to take it apart and take a shim out (probally why belt is so low in sheave) unless it has an external adjustment like a skidoo. Third you can now find the center of drive clutch , centers of pulleys have to be aligned , take another straight edge and lay it on back of drive clutch sheaves, measure off secondary sheeve pulley and and twist or turn motor to even up . there will be an offset, make it even while mantaining center on drive clutch, you will probally have to elongate some holes along the way ,spacers ect but play with it till you mantain center with proper belt deflection and height above sheave ,no belt squeal at idle ect.You can also play with different springs, filing notches in the weights and such ect. to change performance Get yourself a snowmobile racing ,tuning book .it will explain clutching in depth. Great project you got there though!!
3:28. I'm thinking, how long until the neighbors call the cops for loud exhaust? I had that back in the 90s, just put the balanced and blueprinted 302 in my 1978 mustang 2 and was breaking in the lumpy cam it had. Headers, no mufflers, running at 2,000 rpm for break in. Cop came up and I couldn't hear him, I screamed, I'm breaking in a new cam, can't stop for 5 more minutes!!!. He nodded ok. After I was done, his first words? Nice engine 302SHO? I said yep. He said I got called for noise, but I don't hear anything. Are you done with this for tonight? I said yep... We then talked cars for 20 minutes. Got to love small town police and a city cop who's a fellow motorhead who understands the struggle. Lol
Vasily,.. the inner side of both pulley's is fixed in place, right? So if the drive pulley has the weights, it controls how far down the belt rides down into the driven pulley against the springs. It can not mis-align if it's aligned at the beginning and against the 2 sides of 2 fixed pulleys. ?? That CVT is NOTORIOUS for burning threw belts. Many others here on youtube, some you know, have the same issue.
Are you guys getting tired of the buggy? No worries. Crazy new projects on the way! and finishing the f150 truck. Unfortunately the corona virus has cancelled our plans of taking this thing to the jeep trails this week. Hope everyone stays safe out there and keep your head up
Nope. I still love the buggy vids. Great work!!
You should make it 4 x 4 or 6x6 or 60x60!! You need to make an off road scooter!!
What type off differential is in your buggy ?
@@cahird6639 straight axle no diff
@VasilyBuilds thanks just wonder
The kids mechanical aptitude is off the charts. Love to see a kid that is passionate about working with his hands. Someone brought him up right!
Yep, I’m jealous
Dang kid, good thing we arent neighbors cause we'd be making 2 of those. Good job man.
David Hamberlin hahaha my thoughts exactly
Sad that he wrecked it…
That thing F’ing rips!!!!!!!😮😳🤯
Nobody is tired of the buggy. We want more videos of that thing tearing 💩 up.
I am blown away by what you have accomplished at such a young age. I love what you have done to the kart!! I hope you keep going with it, lights/body panels etc!
I'm glad you didn't give up on this one, it's really coming together
Thank you for addressing the issue of the clutch pulley orientation . This is very important information that many people are unaware of. I made some videos of the same subject of a 40 series on my 18hp kart.

The dislikes are old grumpy people who hate engine sounds and sit on their ass all day watching television and petting their 100 cats
Yes!! A youngster with motivation and wrenching skills. I heard these type of kids are more rare than Sasquatch. Well done young man!!
Just couldn't leave it alone the way it was, ha good for you. Keep inspiring kids & go-carts everywhere.
Good work my man I love this build

turning out nice fella. will point out most people call them a Razor rather than an R Z R..
The secondary needs to "float" on the shaft.this will allow it to self align.

Dude that is one bad machine! Keep creating man! You’ve got a talent!
Would like to see Vasily's 670 buggy vs rather B's VF1000
This buggies great bro... you have really gotten better at your fabrication skills.. great build looks fun

Dude, harbor freight should sponsor u. What u do is so unique with a budget engine and a budget supercharger.
I enjoy all the videos. Don’t let it go downhill as 3D machine has. Keep up the awesome work really enjoy seeing ya learn and achieve excellence.

This thing performed alot better than i thought it would, things one badass little kart

This man is a young savant! Genius.
man that thing is badass great work 😍
Dude this thing is dope! One of my favorite builds from you!
You have made one of the best go karts I’ve seen !!!
That was bad A$$ man I love this video. Rock on. I just subscribed. Good job.

I'm guessing that a Polaris rzr type clutch would perform even that much better. Shaft size? Just a thought for chew...
Oh man! I bet your neighbors love you!
I can imagine some of their convos.. “how do you know those big ruts in your lawn are from me and my monster buggy?”
Gettin goozsquad vibes. Sick build man!
This thing is a super freak pretty badass bro you did one hell of a job on this one 💪🏾💪🏾♥️👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽😎👊🏽
AMAZING 😉 best build you’ve done ever 🤩 ( love yo channel
Nice engineering! You know how to have fun!
I love the sound,makes it a ripper!!!💥👍💥
I'd be too busy riding it to make more videos lol. Good for you man. Sick buggy
Make it into a one seat, move the seat into the middle of the buggy, it would look way cooler like that
Great work!!!
awesome rig!! the "eagle scream" at the 8:57 mark is f'ing CLASSIC !!! LMFAO !!!
BEST VIDEO EVER, BIG FAN I HAVE MY OWN 670 BUILD BUT NOW WANT A COMPLETE NEW BUILD
Just found your channel and spent the last 3 hours watching some of the build vids. Awesome build, can't wait to see it on the trails; subbed.
What a blast! Hope you aren't bugging your neighbors with your buggy! I keep waiting to see someone step out with a shotgun for tearing up their yard. lol
Wow that thing is like a little monster truck! Nice!
I have a book on clutches you should have . when these clutches are set up and shimmed right , there's no beating them on the track !
A true off-roadster don’t need it cut it off and gives two craps about the belt, yessir-awesome cart man keep it up!! Woop…woop
Love it. Who makes the original frame on your buggy?
Your neighbors must love you.
Great work buddy I really enjoyed it just plowing right over those trees really sweet.
I have acquired an old Honda Odyssey chassis!! You have literally done the exact drivetrain I have in mind!! Would kill for a parts list!!!

On my 4 wheeler I replaced every other weight to a lighter one you might want to try that to get a different weight combo with out buying more weights?
Respect. That thing is a beast.
looks like you might need a lighter spring in the secondary sheave... its not shifting out very much.
Raming the tree was super funny for some reason 🤣
Awesome build man!!! But where did you get the frame I’m trying to do something like this myself
Awesome build. Motor sounds like it had more to give. (Air,fuel, exhaust) just send it!
Holy shit dude!! That looks like so much fun!! Ive got a yfz 450r and a raptor and im telln ya... I think id rather have that.. BADASS BROTHER!!
The eagle 🦅 screech was perfect lol good job kid .
That beast can run right over coronavirus lol. That thing is really sick
I should make the gearing a little higher it sounds like it has more than enough power and torque to handle that. Overall what a beast of a machine man!!😂
He wants wheelies and low end torque for crawling
I’m proud of you kid!
Awesome job! Enjoy , be safe !!!
Nice! That thing rips! Keep up the awesome work!
Very impressive build , I’d like to see your skill level in another 5yrs! Keep it up
Sounds Sweet! Instead of an oil catch pan you could run a hose from the breather to the drive chain. Oils chain and less work. :)
No offense, That's a very bad idea. How would I know how much oil comes out? Engine oil desiged to be in engine not on a chain. A catch can actually helps to keep the engine oil inside the engine and when excessive pressure builds up it lets the engine vent out
@@VasilyBuilds all good. I've seen it done on motorcycles. But i guess buggies are different...
Love this build and all your builds tbh... I’m about to start a predator 212 scooter with your inspiration
Will you cover the Cvt that no dirt gets in ?
Holy shit that backwards clutch is skeeeetchy😂😂 but hey it works and why wouldn’t it🤷♂️ good job

Have you ever thought about putting a transmission or transaxle on it ??
Sounds like a beast. Nice suspension upgrades too
Did you build your own roll cage or did you buy it and build it bc I like that design and haven’t found any good ones
4x4 conversion?
Throw some sand tires and take it to the dunes. I’m interested in building one
I merely forgot, did you plan you were gonna turbocharge the buggy? Or some mechanical issues stop the idea?
Good stuff! Very impressed with your skills bro!
Love the sound of this thing
That buggy is awesome!

Did you ever put billet rods in? i seen the original engine build and i sure hope you have.
yes I did! And a billet flywheel
Hmmm planning something on my mind. This lockdown will be owsome 😊 you inspired me dude.
