I’ve experienced this over the last five years. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science, I chose freelancing over a traditional job. At first, things were going great, but now I feel stuck because I haven’t built a strong professional network during this time. Meanwhile, those who initially chose jobs felt limited and even like ‘corporate slaves,’ but over the years, their growth has been impressive.
Then that is your fault brother. You need to scale up your work from freelancer to a business. Freelancing is never lifetime. Both approaches are valid, traditional job as well freelancing.
Same. I bent over backwards to avoid traditional workplace because, thanks to university, I was so fed up with this system of entering a building and staying imprisoned there until evening. I feel like I have disconnected from outside world, not even professionally, but personality wise as well.
IT professional here with 25 yrs of experience. I think one need to switch jobs after every 3 years. Three years give you enough time to gain experience and learn new skills before moving on.
I'm around half your years. Some of his advice does seem like platitudes. We don't really "invest" in something if we stick with a company for the longer run.
@@Qasibr One thing people forget specially in tech, Each company has different environment and set of applications they use to run their processes. If one can get exposer to some of the applications, it would be a great experience and something one can put on the CV/resume.
I guess some people have misunderstood the idea of what he is saying. He is not pushing young people to do only traditional corporate jobs and also not discouraging them to do freelancing, content creation, or creating a business start-up. The idea is that one should not get tempt to become rich overnight. One should have clear thought process and roadmap of achieving goals..
Hmm, the main point of the video is we should focus on value we can produce rather than money. The person who can solve problems and produce value for someone will be harder to replace. Many people run after short term things to earn quick money, we should focus on our career growth which will eventually lead us to more money. This value and growth can be achieved in both ways by working in a company or by starting your own work.
But bro you are only focusing on building career through jobs, entrepreneurship is also a long haul but way more rewarding then building a career through job. It all depends on how much effort you are willing to put in.
Thankuuuuuu sooooooo muchhhhh muzamil bhai i am a IT student in Sindh governor house... Bohot alaa zbrdst video aik dam sachiii batin ki hain ap ny MashaAllah ❤️
I know a guy. He is an engineer. Started his own online business. He has earned millions in just 2 years. He asks me to be partner with him, but I have no courage to leave my medical profession

Salam brother Muzammil, Your video topics and podcast directions most of the time have been impressive. Today’s topic and 3 week back topic with afridi was nothing less than wonderful and realistic as well. Let me share with you name of Mr. Moazzam Ali Toor, worlds only hundred percent blind aerospace professional who has a bigger picture to solve economic problems in Pakistan and at the same time keeps a very clear understanding of islam as a way of life. First time as a token to his services DEPO, ministry of defence production has provided him a booth in IDEAS 2024 and he will be in karachi from 17 to 22 November 2024. It is my best recommendation to conduct a podcast with him and you can talk to him in every aspect of Pakistani system with more focus on technology and its implications for Pakistan.
Great Video Muzamil bhai person career should be aligned with his bigger goals , purpose job + side hustle always great idea by doing job person builds foundation, skills and connections to grow his career and side hustle as well
Fell in love with you Muzammil with this Video! That sums up all and bursts all the distracting concepts pitched to young individuals by today's motivational speakers and TH-camrs like Overnight success and Entrepreneurship for everyone, rubbishing formal education, dropping out of main career path etc.. Kudos! keep up the good work
Muzamil, could you make a video recommending books that helped you grow or taught you valuable lessons? It would also be great if you could share any courses you took that made a positive impact on you!
The main point of the video is we should focus on how I can produce more value rather than earn more money. The person who can solve problems and produce value for other will be harder to replace. As an overseas Pakistani, I completely agree with the points raised. This video accurately reflects the harsh reality that many young people today are prioritising shortcuts to earn money, such as through TH-cam and other social media platforms, instead of focusing on building professional careers.
Muzamil Bhai, I never leave comments on any video, but honestly, you won our hearts with this one. This video is so, so important for this generation and the ones to come
