One more thing to add here People(especially some course sellers), say education is a scam. I think university is not just for a degree, it actually improves our soft skills. We can learn skills(CS, SE, IT) free from TH-cam, but the most important thing in universities is the interaction with people of different thoughts and culture. which leads to an effective change and improvement in soft skills.
Great point but I disagree. One doesnt learn soft skills from University or degree. One has to work on it. How to think critically and, how to ask questions.
Great point.Along with AI based skills, I have learnt 'how to deal with people of different personalities' and I think it's going to be helpful for my future InshaAllah.
I am working at commucnition skills these days, unfortunately our teachers never told us anything about soft skills. now i am a teacher, i try best to teach my students these skills
Finally someone said it. I work abroad and have a software team in pk that more or less have the same issue. I hope this video reaches the right audience and they actually take an action.
To all my pakistan friends. 3 things in which u guys struggle, work on it. 1st english speaking and writing. Start with simple sentences and dont complicate and learn to structure wat u mean to extend. 2nd maths, i have met pakistanis who struggle in maths. Dude we are desis humare yahan chote bache bhi hisaab me faadu hote hai and thats how u develop problem solving. 3rd learn to unlearn and evolve and assimilate wherever u go. Finally i have met pakistanis whose ambition is to earn money. Ur ambition should be to learn and then earn. Isiliye they get into odd jobs to make money, get expensive stuff and then settle with normal jobs. So dont blindly chase money. Learn then earn
Working in an international software company and working with global clients, I can vouch that these are the values that are extremely necessary. Well done to put them all so neatly 🙌
I wanted to suggest a potential guest for your podcast: Faiz Ahmad Shuja, Founder and Chairman of Rewterz and Co-Founder of SIRP. Rewterz is a global leader in cybersecurity, and SIRP is making waves with its innovative cybersecurity products.
Great analysis! As a beginner in software engineering and freelancing, I've experienced many of the issues mentioned and am doing my best to improve my soft skills. This video really shows how much time Muzammil Bhai puts into analysis and provides such valuable content. One thing I'd like to suggest for future videos is discussing the topic of unrealistic dreams. Many people start out with big dreams but lack the patience and effort required to achieve them. Often, they give up quickly when they don't see the expected results because these goals were unrealistic from the start. Thank you!
This is so good need more content on this. Specially for the person working abroad like UAE aiming for max 5-10K AED permonth while other nationalities are getting the 2 or 3x of that.
Man, you're spot on! I'm an undergrad student with web development skills, currently working as a freelancer. Everything you mentioned is incredibly relevant. Honestly, there's a real need for more content like this it's super helpful for people like me who are trying to navigate both education and freelancing. Thanks for such an amazing content Muzamil :)
21:26 Totally agree about psychologist stigma. Personally, psychologists helped me so much to come over on my life bad habits.❤ I'm now clean & take less stress.
Absolutely Right. I've worked with many enterprise-level clients. All they need are powerful soft skills, commitment, and integrity. More soft skills to mention are Networking & Thought-provoking. These are valuable for engagement, creating impactful connections, and driving forward-thinking discussions in any professional setting.
Muzamil Bhai, I have observed that individuals in the information technology sector who start their careers later often experience rapid success. This success is frequently attributed to their proactive approach in showcasing their work on social media platforms. For instance, designers who regularly share their projects can effectively demonstrate their skills and creativity to a wider audience. Similarly, developers who present their work online can significantly enhance their visibility and marketability. By doing so, they not only attract potential employers but also build a personal brand that can lead to job opportunities and collaborations. In today's digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial. It allows professionals to network with peers, gain feedback, and stay updated on industry trends. Engaging with a community of like-minded individuals can also provide motivation and inspiration, fostering personal and professional growth.
It's great having you as a guide who explains things so clearly. Inshallah, my next learning goal is to focus on soft skills. May Allah bless you for all the good work you do.
Aise lagra jese ye video mere lie ha. Hats Off Muzammil bhai. Masha Allah great content and every word is true.♥♥♥ Running a software agency for around 4 years and I can understand these pains and issues.
I have not any problem in communication skills or Tech skills. The main issue is Internet speed, restriction on paymeny gateways, restriction on E-Comm markets, ban on crypto etc You should have covered these topics.
Thank you for such a wonderful video. I often go through stress when assigned a task but i will follow your recommendation of talking to a psychiatrist. Thanks again
Why don't you launch a pilot project to address this problem? Start focusing on private schools with low to medium standards. And start a program that teaches Speaking, Listening, and Writing in English. The outline of this pilot project should focus on the following main areas: 1. Be able to talk about formal things (like in the office and business environment and formal exchange of words while meeting). 2. Be able to express personal feelings and emotions. 3. Be able to describe his health conditions to doctors. 4. Be able to enquire about goods while purchasing in the market. 5. Be able to understand location or tell/guide others about a location. This will help us regain 80% of our market share in GCC countries. Note: To build high-quality human resources, we need to work on Mathematics and other soft skills too.
Thank you for such potent and valuable content. I was searching to identify the areas I am lacking in, and I've figured out a few and started working on improving them. This video will be very helpful; my approach is to repeatedly learn and apply these skills.
I think these are the best ever in demand & must have skills which make a person from an ordinary average individual to a highly impactful, valuable professional, a sort of brand called "Kabil Insaan".
