PRO! Very impressed. Thank you for teaching me. Every video is outstanding and I love being notified for Chemical Guys video posts. Very good work explaining the process in this video and every single one I watch. 10/10 winners.
I wish you guys had a location in or close to NYC that offer car detailing services. I am aware of locations that sell your products, but your techniques are A1. Just purchased my first car, which is used and the windows are really bad. I am glad you guys offer a solution.
@@limited50scla I like to use their swift wipe waterless wash in the cold months. Once a week and then clean the glass. Just make sure you have plenty of towels lol!

Ceramic coating glass is very helpful in protecting the glass from damage and making cleaning very easy! Just properly prep the surface as they did in this video...
I just got a ‘21 outback. It was originally from Ohio. The front windshield is HORRIBLE!! Gonna hit my local detail garage store in Virginia Beach and get some hydro view! Definitely gonna do this!!!!
After polishing painted surfaces, most detailers use a IPA cleaner to remove polish residue prior to applying any sealant or protectant. Should you do this step after polishing glass too? Thanks for info.
Great video, Joey. I purchase you guys product here in Glen Burnie Maryland. It’s a good staff. over there. Keep up the great video Joey. See you soon. 😊
Awesome video C guys. Couple questions for y'all- 1)Could you use VSS instead of V36? 2) If Hydroslick is applied to the windows already, and is losing it's hydrophobic properties, should you reapply Hydroslick or could you use Hydroview to be quicker?
Hey Matt! Absolutely it is perfectly fine to use VSS as well. HydroView is a great way to quickly add protection while cleaning the window and enhancing existing coatings.

Yes. They are in the process of moving in the next few weeks to a much larger facility in a much wealthier town. The new building is amazing and abuts the famous Del Amo Mall as seen in Quentin Tarantino's film Jackie Brown and season 1 of Euphoria.
Hi there! When using a DA polisher, spread the product with the lowest speed setting then use the highest speed setting to properly diminish abrasives.
I’m a novice to detailing. Would you recommend putting tape on the trim and rubber when waxing your car as well? I ask because I’ve noticed through the years my last cars trim would start to break down and crack. Is there a way to prevent that? Thank guys! Love your products!

You don’t need to use a panel wipe or IPA before you spray the HydroView?
Hi guys, what’s the difference between Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover and this one?
I just got a ‘21 outback. It was originally from Ohio. The front windshield is HORRIBLE!! Gonna hit my local detail garage store in Virginia Beach and get some hydro view! Definitely gonna do this!!!!
Enjoy your detailing products!!
Can I use the water spot removal gel with a polishing machine?
What kind of pad is needed to do this? Have a 6 inch polisher. Interested in knowing how fine or cutting/textured the pad needs to be.
Great explanations as always Ty Joey 👌🏼
Thanks so much for tuning in!!
Any suggestions on removing the haze on some GM doors glass.. I feel it’s from the weather stripping

Can you just use the water spot remover gel?
Hi there! For etched water spots it may be necessary to use polish.

Just making sure… so this process can be done on the front windshield, as well? 🤞
Absolutely!

Would you use wipeout prior to Hydroview like on the paint to make sure all of the polish is off the glass or is that not necessary?
Hey Cory! Ensure the surface is totally clean before applying ceramic by using Wipe Out.
Out of curiosity, why did you use V36 here instead of V38? Is V38 not coarse enough to work on mineral water spots?
Hey! Correct, V36 is the least aggressive approach while still providing cutting power.
Great video! Thanks 👍
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Can you layer it with hydro view then hydro slick or is it the other way?
Hi Jesse! Absolutely, apply HydroSlick then maintain a boost it with HydroView.

😃😃
Why not take the wind deflectors off so you don't damage them or at least wind the window down to get to the top bit.
Great tip!
I know this was a demonstration to see results. However,I would've rolled down the window and polished so the visor wouldn't have been an issue.
Great tip!
Will it make a difference if windows are tinted?
Hi Jay! Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is safe for OEM tint.
How many rpm do you set the polisher to when it is advantageous?
Hi there! When using a DA polisher, spread the product with the lowest speed setting then use the highest speed setting to properly diminish abrasives.
Great info. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Hey man I can tell you something which will change ur world. U can lower the window and polish it out. u don't have to hand polish it
Why didn’t you just use chemical guys heavy duty water spot remover? I just bought some. Is this not needed?

Hi there! Yes, mask off sensitive rubber and plastic trim that would stain easily from polish and wax.
Great job but just the music in the background ……..need a new playlist..😉
Thanks so much for your feedback!
I didn’t see any water spots in the beginning of the video 😂😊
