My favourite pattern is the Trip Around the World quilt but both of the ones Donna made have been won. 😢 I have made a baby one and upteen tote bags. But I also love STARS. So this quilt is a beautiful design but just a wee bit advanced for me.
I am so glad I am not the only one! lol I have a friend who sells the Colorstreet polish strips and I think that is what Donna wears. So on every video I like to see what she is wearing and I tell my friend. And then I buy it! So Donna spends my money for me between the patterns, fabrics and nail polish lol.

Hello from way down under in Melbourne , l have only been quilting for just over a year, so still a newbie. At first I felt intimidated by the pattern until I thought about it. I’ve done all the steps before. This is only a different pattern to put them together. It definitely helps watching you do the pattern first and then follow the written pattern. You always show us what to watch out for. Thank you all three Donna’s😁

Good afternoon Donna and all at Jordan's, I love the strip set that you chose Donna and although i would have picked the purple or lilac as the accent, i love how it has turned out. That strip set i have been looking at it or similar for a wee while now as i just think it going from the greens, or better still teals to the purple shades is just so pretty. I really like how it works on building around and around it almost like a log cabin quilt block, just with stars being made as you go round. Thank you flower for all your time and talent that helps out us beginners in patchwork, but also those that have been doing it for many years. Thank you James for another faultless filming, you make it a joy to see all the action closer than we would ever be able to see it if we were standing there and getting in the way. I love this quilt! Both the colors you used and the pattern. And someone else loves your tutorials at my house. Almost every time I watch one of your tutorials, our 3 year old black cat named Libby jumps up on my lap. She stays almost until the end and then jumps down and runs off to do other important things! Libby came from a litter of 7 kittens, born in our garage. We kept her brother Baxter too. Their 5 siblings and their Mom cat went to a kitten rescue and they all now have good homes.

So many angles to sew--I know I'd be doing a LOT of unpicking and swearing!! Love how the stars are made though. Lovely as always.
I did have to pick out 2 or 3 seams myself, but if I just kept referring to the pattern as I was sewing it got easier to see which way to orient the seams.

This is just a beautiful quilt. Thanks for all you and your team do. I really enjoy all of your videos. I have learned so much about quilting that I didn't know. I tried quilting years ago and couldn't make and thing to come out right. Then when covid came and had to stay at home I found you on you tube and just love all the quilts. I have tried some and made some good and some bad. But I think I have finely got it. The last two quilts have came out really good. I and almost done with the second one. The top is all done now just the quilting and binding and it will be done. I will send you a picture when it is all done. Got the fabric from you and I just love your fabric. We can't usually help with designing a pattern, but it may be one that already exists so just send us the picture and we'll see if we recognize it.

wow Donna, this is one beautiful quilt, I was hoping you were going to choose a Christmas Batik. Don't laugh, I was going by the beautiful red-bronze nail color. Yes Yes I always notice, first time I've seen your change over. LOL. I LOVE your nails as much as I enjoy every tutorial. I would venture this is an intermediate or even advanced since so much is stitch and flip. I'm thinking to save much fabric I'd use the corner clipper or perhaps one of Marti Michell's template
I've seen someone sew another seam a half inch away, so when you cut the excess off you end up with a little HST
Your color sense is amazing. The combinations are very pleasing to the eye. So love watching your method of piecing to get the points sharp. Thanks for sharing. Be safe.
