    1 Chicken within vegetables 320 calories (1 serving)
    Ingredients
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 garlic
    4 oz chicken breast
    2 medium carrots
    2 tbsp water
    3 oz brocolli
    1 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
    1 honey
    black pepper
    Preparation
    In a large skillet, over medium to high heat, add the olive oil and garlic. Add the chicken and carrots and broccoli and 2 tbsp water and cover until almost tender, about 6-8 minutes.
    uncover and add soy sauce mixed with honey add black pepper and Stir to combine.
    2 Veggie stir fry 210 calories (1 serving)
    Ingredients
    3 oz green beans
    salt
    1 garlic
    1 tsp olive oil
    1/4 medium yellow onion
    2 medium carrots, cut into julienne strips
    2 tbsp water
    3 oz broccoli
    1/4 cup peas
    1 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
    1 tsp honey
    black pepper
    Preparation
    Bring a saucepan of water to the boil and season with salt.
    Next, add in the trimmed green beans and boil for 3 to 4 minutes or until al dente or slightly crunchy.
    Immediately remove them form the pot and strain them. Set aside.
    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. add garlic and onion,stirring constantly. Add carrots broccoli and 2 tbsp water and cover until tender, about 6-8 minutes.
    uncover and add boiled green beans, peas, soy sauce mixed with honey and black pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
    3 Chickpea, spinach and egg 280 calories (1 serving)
    Ingredients
    1 egg boiled
    1 garlic
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 medium tomato
    1/4 tsp ground cumin
    1/4 tsp curry powder
    salt and black pepper
    3 oz chickpeas, cooked
    1 tsp lemon juice
    1 tbsp parsley
    2 oz spinach
    Preparation
    Boil the egg for 12 minutes, or until done to your liking. When cool enough to handle, shell, halve and set aside.
    Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan over a low heat. Add garlic, chopped tomato, cumin, curry powder, salt and black pepper and stir-fry for 1 minute.
    Add chickpeas, lemon juice and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until reduced and thickened, stirring often. Add the parsley, spinach and cook until wilted.
    Transfer to a plate and top with two egg halves.
    4 White bean salad 210 calories (1 serving)
    Ingredients
    2 leaves romaine lettuce
    7 cherry tomatoes
    1/4 medium red bell pepper, chopped
    1 medium cucumber, chopped
    2 oz canned white beans
    2 tbsp olives
    1 tsp white vinegar
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 tsp dijon mustard
    salt and black pepper
    Preparation
    In a large bowl combine, lettuce, halved cherry tomatoes, red bell pepper, cucumber, white beans, olives.
    In a small bowl, whisk together white vinegar, olive oil, dijon mustard, salt and black pepper.
    Pour the dressing over the carrots and toss to coat.
    5 Tuna pasta salad recipe 320 calories (1 serving)
    Ingredients
    1.5 oz fusilli pasta
    1/2 medium cucumber
    1/4 medium red bell pepper
    1 medium green onion
    3 oz tuna
    1/4 cup peas
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 tsp balsamic vinegar
    1 tsp honey
    salt and black pepper
    Preparation
    cook pasta according to package directions and set a side.
    When cooking pasta add chopped cucumber, red bell pepper, green onion, cooked pasta, tuna, peas In a large bowl
    In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar.
    Pour the dressing over the salad and add salt and black pepper toss to coat.

      Read Dr Jason Fung's book titled 'The Obesity Code'. You will see countless research results by independant medicals that low carb & low fat NEVER produces long term weight loss. And in fact, the above method will slow down metabolism and downgrade the body's ability to utilise a healthier dose of calories.
      I recommend you look up Dr Jason Fung on TH-cam first if you need to be convinced before you plunge into buying his easily-read, scientifically-based book.

      @@jamcc4467 if you're taking around 500 calories less than your BMR requirements, you will definitely see sustainable, long term weight loss effects. Just make sure you don't go berserk and consume less than 1/3rd amount of your required calorie intake. Also, avoid having one big fatty/oily meal like burgers, fries, etc. but rather have two healthy meals with some grains/fruits/veggies, etc

      @@hasanrizvi2047 I admire you but I have to say you are incorrect about your take on longterm weight loss and calories. You need to learn about many things including homeostasis. You would certainly find Dr Fung's book intetesting. There a decades upon decades and even over a hundred year old research on it. Dare to try and read it because you will find that you wont be saying the same thing afterwards.
      Calorie counting has been brain washed into us that has no scientific basis for long term weight loss as well as the hazard of it re-adjusting the body's set point negatively. Go against mainstream and what politics has released as the "authoritative cure" for weightloss for a while and see if there is truth to what is being proposed to you here. :)

      @dobermann You have lowered your caloric intake which your body has gotton used to. You have adjusted your homeostasis. Now do this and you will see I will prove a very good point. Go back to the same caloric intake as before and watch your weight get HEAVIER than what you were before. You have ruined your chances of being able to eat more calories without a gruesome weight gain this your homeostasis has altered.
      I wont explain more you lazy people. Go get Dr Jason Fung's book!!!

    Just Lucky to have a Mom like here and yes, she doesn't understand me sometimes either but I know my Mom isn't perfect but she's more than perfect in my eyes💜

      Not so much unless you wanna burn yourself when too much oil starts to sprinkle everywhere. The sprayer's safer and makes it healthier cuz you can measure the oil your food's gonna absorb. Besides, any sprayer does the job, not necessarily the one in the video.

    Friendly tip: it is preferred to use a different cutting board for vegetables and meat, to avoid spreding bacteria from the meat to vegetables which you might eat raw..

I’m on a 1200 calorie diet. I’m a carnivore, then Keto queen but my loss is stuck . So I’m trying a low calorie diet.

    Love your recipes! Healthy food that's not boring. One suggestion for the green beans though, I like mine a little crunchy still so I just saute with the other veggies :) I also like to use frozen peas and corn in your recipes rather than canned, you can cut out some salt :)

    I don’t have time to exercise because of work.. I manage to count calories on whatever I eat. Eating less calories is the key. Remember, you burn about 1200 Cal a day for doing nothing so try to consume less than that. I also take multivitamins for daily nutrition. I am also taking Vanguard Formulas dietary supplement to burn extra calories and unwanted fat faster, and it’s been working really well. With everything I do, I lose about 20 LB a month. Hope this helps

    I’ve tried the chickpea spinach egg dish but the only thing is that my chickpea is still hard to chew on even after soaking it for an hour followed by steaming for more than half an hour.
    Ps: I love all the songs !

    i’m planning on cooking a shitton of these foods, like as a meal prep. i’ll fill up our fridge so i don’t have to worry about what imm having for dinner, i’ll just fast for breakfast and lunch and then have a small portion of these, then tea and a workout. vióla! under 300 calories and 500 calories burned so -200:)

    Never NEVER cut raw chicken on a wooden cutting board!
    There is small crevices that can get trapped in your wood cutting board, even after being wiped.
    Please, never use a wooden cutting board for raw chicken. Always use a different cutting board for raw meats, and cooked meats/veggies.

    I'm currently on a "diet" basically I'm eating as little as possible along with intense exercise. I skip breakfast cuz I sleep late and wake up at 2pm. I eat as little as possible for the rest of the day but no junk food and no sugar.
    I know it's bad. But I feel horrible when I eat. Although I feel pretty bad right now as well. Like I'm starving so much that I had a breakdown. But I cant eat anything right now. Its 12am. So I'm just chugging down water.

      That will slow down your metabolism drastically, my friend.
      Be inspired:
      Read Dr Jason Fung's book titled 'The Obesity Code'. You will see countless research results by independant medicals that low carb & low fat NEVER produces long term weight loss. And in fact, the above method will slow down metabolism and downgrade the body's ability to utilise a healthier dose of calories.
      I recommend you look up Dr Jason Fung on TH-cam first if you need to be convinced before you plunge into buying his easily-read, scientifically-based book.

      Depending on your weight you do need to eat less but not to the point that you are starving. Loseing wright takes time , if you are cutting snacks and your not eating suger (fruit not included) it's prob already enough to lose wait.
      Just a small cut to the amount you eat and more importantly what you eat.
      So many things I want to say but can't lol.
      One more thing, eat food with Volume but low calorie, and get a low calorie snack if you really need a late night snack so you don't have to listen to your stomach growl .

      Sae, I beg to differ. Low calorie is a total farce. It doesn't result in 'long-term' weight loss according to research results throughout history.
      Btw way - I made a typo in initial response above. I accidentally wrote 'low carb' when it was meant to say low calorie.
