Was this the 3 Dudes from Arizona? When I,lived in Phoenix there was a shop in Tempe (I think!) with guys who owned it and called it 3 Dudes! It’s been long gone into another shop and probably isn’t there at all as I’ve been gone from the Valley since 2003.
I really really like this quilt! I think I'll be making this one for my last niece's shower/wedding gift. I don't have any children, but I do have 6 nieces and nephews. Every time one of them got engaged, I asked what colors they like. I then made a quilt in a pattern of my choice in their colors. They have all loved the quilts I made for them. And so far, I've made 2 baby quilts. Making quilts gives me joy, too!
I cut my strips when I was just learning quilting and knew nothing. Good fortune is I cut out so many strips there’s enough for 2 quilts! So, I’m using Jenny’s idea and my original. Lovely quilt Jenny! Hope I can do a show and tell with your method and my own when both quilts are done. Stay in stitches everyone.
This is such a great quilt. I am so happy that you used Edyta Sitar fabrics. Her fabric is so beautiful. The possibilities with this pattern are endless. I absolutely love it and the name is perfect too. Thank you Jenny for always inspiring me.💗
I LOVE this quilt des ign! I can see it in table runners, too! I will definitely be using this idea! Using the Honey bun strips instead of the white jelly roll strips makes a totally different look! Thanks, Jenny!
I could have so much fun with different color ways and background fabrics when piecing this beautiful quilt. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your love of "what if" with us. We get to enjoy the fruits of your creativity. ❤
This pattern might just make a go with the fabrics my guild has which really aren’t to my taste - but with the white smaller strips and cut diagonally, these fabrics might just work. We make smaller quilts for a Children’s Advocacy Center - maybe up to 50” wide as there are children of all ages and boys and girls and we don’t know who will be there in October when we have ladies from there come to our meeting where we present the quilts to them.
Your quilting style and technique makes me so happy! Throughout this video I kept saying “Hey I do that!” I feel so much better about how my quilts turn out. Thank you so much for teaching me!
This is a beautiful quilt, I just bought some christmas fabrics and a honeybun roll to make it for the holidays. I think it will be awesome in green, red and white
Jenny you taught me how to sew. I always wanted to learn from a really young age. You were the best then and still are. Love this pattern made me think of my Grandma making quilts.Thank you Jenny ❤
I love it. The secondary pattern with the snowflake was the first thing I noticed. This would look good in wintry fabric in hues of blue with the snowflake.
Really like this quilt and can imagine modifying the size to make baby quilts. Congratulations on your "African adventure" and we look forward to seeing you when you come back. You're leaving the company in good hands with challenges for them.
Oh, what a quilt! You make me so inspired that I almost can't watch the video until the end, I just want to rush into my sewing room and get started. Love and joy to you❣
I made my grandson a quilt top a few years ago (didn't get it finished cause the center block didn't fit harmonize with the rest); it won't ever be finished now! We had a house fire & it didn't make it out! BUT this quilt will become his! THANKS JENNY! STAY SAFE IN YOUR AFRICAN ADVENTURE!!
I love this new quilt pattern Jenny! Joy is defying to be on my list of quilts to make. I’ve got jelly rolls and a honeybun already on hand. Thank you for this beautiful quilt. 🌸🩷🌸
This quilt makes me so happy! I can’t wait to come to birthday bash to pick up some Christmas fabric. I am going to make this quilt with all Christmas fabrics!!!!
Cutting the strip sets is where my Square Up rulers come in handy! I have a good, collection from 1-1/2” all the way up to 20”!!!!!!❤. They just make it easier for me to get decent squares!
This is SOOOOO AWESOME!!! Super fancy looking and BEAUTIFUL (love😍 the colours!!) yet so easy to make!! Jenny, your method of 'sew around the outside' is such a game changer! Thank you for sharing 'you'❤💐♥️
Oh my goodness! I’m working with some strips I threw together. I planned on doing something so similar but now I might try your idea of using my strips. Thank you for this video.
So beautiful. You I watched you sewed so years ago and I made myself a quilt and pillowcase to match. But I have to cut every strip by hand because we don't have those fancy strip in Jamaica. But thank you so much.❤😊🎉
I wish I would have seen this before I finished my "way to busy" quilt using the same block but without the lattice. That would have made mine so much better.
“My quarter inch isn’t always exact all the time.” BEST SENTENCE EVER! Quilting is my joy too! Thanks Jenny!
I use a 1/4” foot on my sewing machine and it really helps.
@@denisepineda1788 if they are accurate l mines not unfortunately
The quarter inch is what we aim for but rarely achieve perfection! I don’t unpick if I can help it.
It's a flash back to the "3 Dudes" era and also the "hidden wells" pattern. What's old is new again! Lol

No one, and I mean no one, sews faster than Jenny. Cool easy quilt. I love the way Jenny gives us permission to fudge our seams, no stress, just sew.
I’m glad I’m not alone in double (sometimes triple times) before I cut! You make fancy quilts so easy!

Beautiful quilt! Looks fun to make with strip sets. Thanks for sharing this pattern and the best way to construct it.
Thank you for letting us know we don't need to perfect all the time. I fight with my 1/4 in all the time.
She is one reason I keep quilting! 😍

I love the idea of the snowflake! Beautiful quilt! Thank you
I would love to do this in blues, call it snowflakes on the window. So beautiful.
When Jenny mentioned using a solid to make the snowflake pop, I wondered about other ways to do that. Using all blues would be great.
This is a beautiful quilt, I just bought some christmas fabrics and a honeybun roll to make it for the holidays. I think it will be awesome in green, red and white

I stress myself out continuously regarding 1/4 seams! Use the tape like Jenny & still stress. Going to get over myself & sew without worry (I HOPE)😊👍
