What do you do when the installer of the carpet used 3,456,712 staples per room and they are flush with the subfloor (no tool will get under them without gouging the subfloor). Can you leave some? It would take me years to remove them all 🤦🏻‍♀️

Do you think I can lay sheet vinyl right over top of old hardwood floor? The floor is flat. The house has a crawl space. They are too stained up to refinish.

If I want to use the vinyl sheet (same like you use in the next video) OVER carpet (for a rental house), would you suggest putting plywood on top of the carpet and glue the vinyl sheet on top of that??

absolutely not, the carpet would absorb moisture and cause plenty problems. Plus manufacturer guide will ALWAYS tell you to remove the carpet and tack strips and start with the base subfloor,
