Oh my goodness thank you so much for sharing this video. They are one of my favorite I live in Kentucky and I go to Holmes County up in Berlin/Millersburg Ohio and I go to the Amish store just to buy the pies. They are so good

I was looking at the recipe card😂😂😂😂😂. When you get done whipping up filling it says to "chill four house" 😂😂😂😂. I know what you ment just wanted to let you know of the typo. They look wonderful going to try them because my husband and son loves the oatmeal cream ones from little Debbie. Hoping this one will be a bit cheaper when they want one. ❤❤❤

You can use butter… I use the savealot brand shortening.

Yes I should just use butter but I can’t when I sell them because they need to be shelf stable.
Yes. I think for at home consumptiin, I would use cream cheese filling. I understand the need for using shortening for bake sales, though. Another great recipe, Leanne!

She said add just a little bit of molasses. It gives it that nice brown flavor and the extra flavor that you get from little Debbie’s oatmeal cream pies & should have used butter instead of Crisco & cream instead of water because it gives the cream a better taste
Your recipe card says last 2-3 months in freezer. Your so cute. My family, kids and kids that think they live here are like bloodhounds. They can smell sugar from blocks away. Hang on tight and hope your still standing when the chaos clears. 😅😅😅 Kidding aside this recipe looks so awesome. Thank you so much.
These look delish but I'd have to skimp on the frosting some. I just can't handle a overabundance of that stuff! Ridiculous how much Crisco has gotten to be! I don't use it often anymore so I'm always shocked by how much it increases!

My favorite flavor is the banana 🍌 one's. I got my first one at the green dragon in Lancaster Pennsylvania years ago. They had all kinds of flavors. Then mom got them at Roots farmers market. I also seen them at the Shady Maple 🍁 market. They are very good 👍😊

Oh my Oatmeal pies.... these really could be dangerous in my house. They might just jump off the plate onto my hips, my booty, and belly as I simply by.
