@@youngstowny it's probably because of the more linear and arcade-style gameplay in metro. While in vanilla config this is not actively used (not wide range of numbers) still shoot at limbs and fingers is not best idea. Not only headshots count. Armors also give different protections for bodyparts.

@@spectralassassin6030 There is when every newcomer is hoping S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to be anything like Anomaly or GAMMA. Honestly it's annoying cause they'll be complaining about it so much GSC might change the game and take away from what makes S.T.A.L.K.E.R. unique and where the main focus lies. Man, I forgot how uninviting these games are, they always take a while to get into, but once you do they're just so immersive. It's one of those world's where you don't necessarily feel like the hero, like everything is happening because of you; you just exist within it. Wondering about the history of each location, each anomaly, each mutant, such a rich yet vague world. I'd spend so long just examining anomaly areas, seeing how the world has transformed. I know you're moving onto Mods now, but the Stalker games have so few decent playthroughs, I'd absolutely love to see you finish either Chernobyl or this one!
Compared with the 2 previous games, CoP is quite easy even in master difficulty. Except if you want to save all the boyband members in Pripyat underground without too much struggle with tactical quicksaves. Every anomaly there concentrated in each locations (the places where you can hunt for artefacts), no random anomaly spreading all over the place like in SoC, CS, or the original novel itself, so you can run anywhere in the darkest night with heavy thunderstorm without throwing bolts to ensure your path is safe or whirlgig. Also rate mutants like pseudogiants, bloodсука, even chimeras, only spawned randomly and rarely in the late game. Even dogs is not a threat anymore. You can clean all the bs here 15:21 without doing the Auschwitz gas chamber method. Just talk to Beard (then he ask you to find the gas), grab shotgun and some ammo, jump to one of the panel (the first one on the right side of stair) and shoot 'em all.

This further builds my hype for the second game that is supposed to still be coming. I hope the devs are doing alright, since they are in/from Ukraine if I remember correctly.
one of the best if not the best shooter I`ve played (over and over again in multiple mods). It combines a huge dark landscape, a great story that leaves you always wanting a little more, supernatural and normal enemies and things all well balanced that traps the player. The freedom to wander and roam searching for things and the choice of doing or ignoring the missions makes it almost a neverending adventure.
I'm surprised that bullet spongy myth still exist, on master damage output is normal, when lower ones just give you up to 20% bonus (and bonus in ONLY in SoC) It feels like people just had experience with awful bullet spread with SoC PMm and think it's the enemy health It's even funnier he picked that in CoP, where they give you a rifle in the beginning that solves bullet spread issue
@@spicydong317 i'm surprised that bullet sponge myth exists too, and yeah that's what i thought so too, the bullet spread and along with the PMM being absolutely awful is what started this whole trollage and myth spreading also how the "elitists" kept saying to newcomers to play master difficulty, even though they just heard or learned about Stalker (and now this cycle goes on with Anomaly and Gamma)
@@yourmanjimbo it's absolutely hilarious It's not just youtubers lile jay and peach cobbler, but the entire half or quarter of the stalker community repeats this myth
Plot out of logic (especially Degtiaryov background) and with some holes, but features and variability better than in previous games (Shadow of Chornobyl and Clear Sky)
I played trough this game so many times I can't even remember.. It's funny when you say that "the internet says..." and it's a totally crap advice, like leave Noah alone, he just shoots when you open the door and then you can talk to him and you cannot enter main bases with weapons in hand but there is no lockdown unless you attack them.
Wait, did ya end up not finishing SoC? The ending is sooo good! You must find Strelok! And Clear Sky's pretty great, too, don't let anyone tell ya different.
There is still 1 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game to go and that's Clear Sky which is a Prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl 😄 by the way.... Call of Pripyat came out 2009 Shadow of Chernobyl came out 2007 Clear Sky the Prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl came 2008
You should try playing Clear Sky. Call of Pripyat is obviously the best one in terms of mechanics and stuff, but Clear Sky is like Call of Pripyat but with Shadow of Chernobyl's map. You couldn't modify weapons in the first game, but you could in CS and CoP.
u can take ur bolts out to check if its anomaly or radiation cuz ur wasting ur rad drugs too much on noa mission u can just straight up walk up to him and talk instead of fighting but u need to holster ur weapon
I remember playing through SoC and Clear Sky unmodded for the first time. I had a blast, so with CoP i decided for some reason i still can't understand to get a mod for it instead of playing vanilla. My dumb ass went with the fucking Misery mod for my first playthrough of Call of Prypiat. My god what a trip that was.
Nice video. I recommend mod named Lost Alpha it's one of the biggest mod on Stalker and one of oldest. It's add cutted area and quests and many many other, and remake old areas and quests. And i don't recommend Misery and Dead air. It's hardcore mods with new gameplay features. There is a story mods but I haven't played any of them.
It saddens me so much that the anomaly+artifacts gameplay was not featured. That's like the main reason there's guys skirting the law and breaching containment in the Zone in the first place. You come in, risk your life, get rich quick, and get out, like in any proper casino. Of course, you can get burned and die, but what's life without a bit of spice, eh? But really, whenever you see a cluster of anomalies, your first instinct should be to pull out the detector and walk in, not just skirt around the edges and leave. The detector will beep if the artifact is close, so with a little game of hot-cold you can grab one quickly and get out. It has a bunch of beneficial stats you can equip or just sell for a fortune. Also, you have bolts to throw on your 6, so you can trigger anomalies and observe their behavior to figure out how to get past them.
If were going by release order its shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and then Call Of Pripyat. If your gonna play clear sky you'd wanna download vanilla mods since its the most buggy out of the three. At the end of the story I'd recommend buying a shitload of bandages and med kits.
Try Stalker anomaly or stalker anomaly gamma next, this shit will blow your mind off. It's fan mods, but it creates completely different experience and ambient
I don't know if you finished Call of Pripyat but Gunslinger is an insane upgrade over vanilla, but in a good way, leaving vanilla mostly the same while having massive improvements across the board.
like this comment + lemme know what kind of mods i should grab for the next stalker video! thanks for watching!! 🤠

This further builds my hype for the second game that is supposed to still be coming. I hope the devs are doing alright, since they are in/from Ukraine if I remember correctly.
I recommend the gunslinger mod for CoP to you makes the game so much better.
I would be very interested in seeing some FEAR gameplay. Love those games
one of the best if not the best shooter I`ve played (over and over again in multiple mods). It combines a huge dark landscape, a great story that leaves you always wanting a little more, supernatural and normal enemies and things all well balanced that traps the player. The freedom to wander and roam searching for things and the choice of doing or ignoring the missions makes it almost a neverending adventure.
can't wait for the wonder that will be the G.A.M.M.A. video
It's gonna be great
That's if he can get used to the crapload of bloat GAMMA comes with.
Doesn't Gamma require over 100 mods or something? It sounds like it would take a while to set up. Or is it one big bundle?
@@garrick3727 It has a installer that installs everything for you.
He fell for the Master difficulty lmao
I'm surprised that bullet spongy myth still exist, on master damage output is normal, when lower ones just give you up to 20% bonus (and bonus in ONLY in SoC)
It feels like people just had experience with awful bullet spread with SoC PMm and think it's the enemy health
It's even funnier he picked that in CoP, where they give you a rifle in the beginning that solves bullet spread issue
@@spicydong317 i'm surprised that bullet sponge myth exists too, and yeah that's what i thought so too, the bullet spread and along with the PMM being absolutely awful is what started this whole trollage and myth spreading
also how the "elitists" kept saying to newcomers to play master difficulty, even though they just heard or learned about Stalker (and now this cycle goes on with Anomaly and Gamma)
I love how every TH-camr keeps repeating this myth, despite it not being remotely true
@@yourmanjimbo it's absolutely hilarious
It's not just youtubers lile jay and peach cobbler, but the entire half or quarter of the stalker community repeats this myth
@@OperatorMax1993 Even Sseth and Mandaloregaming have repeated it. If something is easy to check, you can bet no one will.
so close to the best game ever...Clear Sky
Please do more Stalker videos, these are super entertaining
I used to play each one with my dad like a decate aggoit whas pripyat and shadow of chernobyl, still play it till this day
Plot out of logic (especially Degtiaryov background) and with some holes, but features and variability better than in previous games (Shadow of Chornobyl and Clear Sky)
I played trough this game so many times I can't even remember.. It's funny when you say that "the internet says..." and it's a totally crap advice, like leave Noah alone, he just shoots when you open the door and then you can talk to him and you cannot enter main bases with weapons in hand but there is no lockdown unless you attack them.
it's a good day when jayvee posts 🗣️
After Noah blasts the door open you can just walk inside and talk to him lol
Wait, did ya end up not finishing SoC? The ending is sooo good! You must find Strelok! And Clear Sky's pretty great, too, don't let anyone tell ya different.
I could watch you play stalker all day
Welcome to STALKER Jayvee!, we have a lot of Rain, Vodka, Blood Suckers, Anomalies, Monoliths, Emissions and Quick Saves.
Even tough noah shoots the door open when you visit him just holster your weapon he won't shoot you afther he soots the door open
Run is not Shift is throwing you off but you bind the Fn WINDOWS KEY to walking ?!?! :D
Just talk to Noah dude😂
There is still 1 S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game to go and that's Clear Sky which is a Prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl 😄
by the way....
Call of Pripyat came out 2009
Shadow of Chernobyl came out 2007
Clear Sky the Prequel to Shadow of Chernobyl came 2008
Bro FEAR 1 and 2 PLEASE!!!!! Those fckin games were fire!
From what I’m seeing in the video and comments, since the Metro series is one of my favorite game series of all time I need to try stalker for sure
You should try playing Clear Sky. Call of Pripyat is obviously the best one in terms of mechanics and stuff, but Clear Sky is like Call of Pripyat but with Shadow of Chernobyl's map. You couldn't modify weapons in the first game, but you could in CS and CoP.
u can take ur bolts out to check if its anomaly or radiation cuz ur wasting ur rad drugs too much
on noa mission u can just straight up walk up to him and talk instead of fighting but u need to holster ur weapon
i would absolutely love to see a full walkthrough of shadow of chernobyl
I remember playing through SoC and Clear Sky unmodded for the first time. I had a blast, so with CoP i decided for some reason i still can't understand to get a mod for it instead of playing vanilla.
My dumb ass went with the fucking Misery mod for my first playthrough of Call of Prypiat.
My god what a trip that was.
Lol first playthrough of CoP and picks hardest mod Gigachad moment
I hope you get to try stalker anomaly too, it's insane what the modding community can do lol
you're not supposed to shoot noah xD
Yeah I would like to see you to play fear and more of this game
Try out Clear Sky but ONLY with OGSM mod (game was rushed so that mod will fix a good 90% or more of bugs so it's a must...)
To change language you have to go to localizations folder in game files
Can only imagine being your neighbor and just hearing you scream 😂
More !! This is great. I love watching your stalker videos.
I wish that I could delete my memory so I can play pripyat all over again
Lmao this will be a good series I love store games but this is like a complete sims live your life game😂
Stalker is one of a kind. If you don’t read the internet, you can have different games playing the same one.
2:57 bro that's a doctor's sausage, in russian we call it "Calbasa" it's pretty good ngl.
Try Stalker anomaly or stalker anomaly gamma next, this shit will blow your mind off. It's fan mods, but it creates completely different experience and ambient
"WHAT DID I THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN?!?!?!?!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
These games look cool, i hope stalker 2 comes out on Xbox like they said to try it
I don't know if you finished Call of Pripyat but Gunslinger is an insane upgrade over vanilla, but in a good way, leaving vanilla mostly the same while having massive improvements across the board.
gunslinger makes it so you cant kill burers- its literally impossible to kill them.
@@TheONLYFeli0you can kill them, it’s just hard
It lacks the full arsenal of vanilla cop
Noah shoots only one time, because he is surprised. But he is a good guy . Don't kill him or his dog.
also man ,try to throw bolts that u have in those anomalies - thats what they made for
Noah is just a psycho, that`s how he opens the doors
