I love your words of wisdom. I’m 60 years old and I’ve been living with a whole Lotta stuff and Im just tired of having to take care of all the stuff so I’m getting rid of it. It’s simplifying your life. You don’t need the things you think you need .Youre reminded of them all the time. Simplify
@@brianalbern9373 thanks for taking time out of your day to watch it!
Absolutely, don't let your stuff own you. Well said.
Good advice. I lived on a Dodge Ram Promaster 3500, for 3 years and loved every minute. I had the opportunity to aquire an 8X10 box truck. I am in the process of getting that ready. Can't wait to get back on the road. I was living on $900 per month while being a nomad. It is possible to live well on very little. I could see what was coming and became debt free and prepared as much as possible for the day I went full-time nomad. Learned a ton my first 3 months. If you have that wonder lust or facing living in a vehicle.....just do it!
@@bogopuar7463 thanks for writing in! I plan on staying out indefinitely. Never know what life will throw but I’m enjoying it. What part of the country did you do it in?
I saw a guy who van life out his 200 Nissan van. Kept it parked most days except street cleaning days. He rode the train to work and he saved fuel and reduced wear and tear on his property.
@GEAUXFRUGAL love it, great play to save some money. I like to keep parked for at least a week at a time, saves on gas and wear and tear like you said. Thanks for watching and writing in!- Kenny
Perfect timing. I’m picking my stuff up off the ground today, because she threw it out of the house. I’ve been preparing for it though. I picked up a pop up camper, and it’s full of gear and 6 months of food. I’ve already picked a handful of spots in the woods to rotate staying in… and they’re close to my work.
Even though it’s unsettling I truly do feel alive and know this is better for me.

Great video my friend. I've been living van life for 8 months. A series of unforseen events brought me to this journey. It's been a major trial and error. My advice is to get a solar power bank, a stove, extra fuel for it. Non perishable food. A great cooler or mini fridge. If you're a woman get ya a pee potty of some kind. The rest of it you covered exactly 💯. You seem grounded that can only come from freeing yourself from stuff!

People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society.
If your happyness depend on extern factors you will never be happy because extern factors are endless.
Happyness starts inside you.
Thats why a lot of people just work and then buy stuff (making others richer) or look a certain way to create an illusion for the outside world out of emptyness.
The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, hate, double standards, own benefits, judge, comparing etc..... reflection of their broken souls.
Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time to reflect and work on yourself.
No, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and awake.
Be the light in your own life.
The here and now is where the magic happens.
I am 44 now and change everything and choose a simple quit life......and yes, i was also young and did everything what others did so thats why i can relate.

With the heat, rain and weather that vehicle dwellers are dealing with, reviewing products just for summer (hot, wet) issues might be very popular and really help those who are on the road too. Lot of new people who are trying to figure it all out, and if you can help them do that, you would definitely be a hero. You said you would talk about the fan you have, and that is one product that could launch other product reviews that would help you, too, and that wouldn't cost too much. Many of them you may already have. Inviting questions about how to manage different situations would help give you content. Also, you may wish to do more than one video a day. You can change it later if you want. Thank you.

No bud, The Patriot was filmed in Charleston, Rock Hill, Lowry's Farm & Fort Lawn SC. Santee Coastal Reserve is beautiful with trees 100's of years old. If ever in the area can show you around. At Santee Coastal Reserve you do have to look out for alligators hidden in bushes during warmer months, also the mosquitos are terrible which is why I disperse camp there in the cooler months. Honey Hill allows 14 days camping while Santee only allows 4 days, however you can leave for one day and go back camping another 4 days. You repeat this cycle as many times as you like.

How do you find reliable safe overnight parking?
Is there a guide for every state?.. You can go on Google and for example find a small liveable house in Iowa for between $6,000 and $9,000. If you're going to live in a Mini Van at least get a high top put on it and set up a small refrigerator and small toilet situation..
@joce123 Ihave a van tour video if you want to check it out. I’m totally comfortable in there. I generally always go to the National Forest and camp for 2 weeks. I feel safe there. I carry personal protection. When Im not there I sleep at a Walmart parking lot. Usually very safe.
Last time I looked at a storage unit was west of cave Creek AZ. I was rural and they wanted over $100. I realized it was going to cost more than I paid for the things I was to store. Just a small unit for a week or so. I figured I could put that money in the tank for the return home. Cave Creek AZ to 70380 is a lot of miles.
@@GEAUXFRUGAL yeah, units should really only be used for a month or two while you are moving. Any longer than that is really tough to swing financially.
You have 3 ways to go as far as money and your life. You are going up, staying the same or going down
If you’re going down then it’s just a matter of how much time before you have nothing
You have to stop the bleeding and stabilize to the point of not going down or saving some
If you have savings or equity in a house and you know that you are going down bail out and put the money in the newest and best “house “ (vehicle) that you can
From that point concentrate on saving money for repairs or replacement of your vehicle

The channel has been good for my mental health.
Good job on achieving your goal. I have a question, though. How do you fill your days and nights, with things to do ? Projects, hobbies, do you volunteer somewhere doing something to help others ? The reason I ask is, I've thought about doing this too, as I'm currently in my 50th year in the American workforce, turning 65 this October. But what it seems to me so far in all the investigative research I've done on this lifestyle, is that it's more just existing, not really living, and certainly not living well. Am I looking at all of this wrong ? Thanks in advance ! Kyle
Lazy people will be lazy in their camper. Busy people will be busy in their camper. You still take you with you. So however you behaved in a house is how you will behave in your van. I’m building a TH-cam channel, 4-5 hours a day. I spend 1 hour a day in prayer or scripture reading. Physical activity each day, hiking usually 2 hours. Training my dogs/ grooming my dogs. Preparing food and cleaning up. I don’t watch TV, I don’t have any internet streaming subscriptions, I waste no time. Researching and navigating campsites, weather patterns, elevations. And then pleasure reading. I like to study about electrical engineering, solar projects, and planning and preparing for my future plans of living off grid and gaining the knowledge to start up a compound one day. Very satisfied with my life.

@@furchaser you can plan around that. You can get your credit under control in 1 year. Try and consolidate that debt and make 1 payment to 1 collector a month. From that point you should be able to make a plan to get out on the road. Start working on your build and do some dry runs while you clean up the debt a little. Idk just an idea, but I think you could make it work.

If you are on hard times and you have good health without any medications. You can make about $250 a month selling plasma.. Downsize.. Declutter.. You never know when you are going to lose your income whether it is a spouse or a job or even if social security decides that you're disability is no longer approved.
One or two tragedies or an illness can derail everything. It made me take a hard look at the entire scope of the lifespan. I have no knowledge of plasma or blood sales, just exercise caution with your health. Thanks for watching!

Hey it doesn't sound like you figured this out very well if you ask me, if you are peeing in bottles and popping in buckets. You are in Arizona bro, you couldnt buy a couple of acres of land like that one guy did ? He built his house out of wood and what not, thats what I would do, I wouldnt sleep in my car if I was in Arizona where land is so damn cheap
@@adairjanney7109 I’m in New Mexico. It’s a minimalist life. I’m happy with this. You don’t know the particulars of my life or finances. I have all of this figured very well, actually. Thanks for the view and comment, though, it really helps my channel out!
@@ARealLiveNomad owning land is the answer though. If you can get a cheap piece of land like the guy I spoke about in Arizona then you have no bills, over time you can get power and water and all of that via technology. if you can get land at some point think about it, a place that would allow you to just build your house with no codes etc, then just start making money however you feel like it, insted of working for the man as a slave at least that is how I want to do it if I can

It’s definitely a good play. Use the national forests as a jump off point. Make a camp for 2 weeks at a time then just go home to camp after your shift like you would go home normally. Rest areas and Walmarts, you can alternate between them for a couple nights if it puts you closer to work.
