I've been taking millet for one of my meal everyday. I choose one or two of the 6 types of millets I always have at home. I am not sure if that helped, but my periods kinda regularised. Also I lost 1.2 kgs in about 2 weeks.

Carbs are required for energy its like fuel to your body.

    • @sankethgowda5522

Carbs are the primary metabolism for the body and fat in s secondary metabolism l. So if you eat whole grain like a millet you will have slow releasing of glucose like for 2-6hrs. Where as when you eat rice or wheat you will be dumping you blood with almost all the glucose in 15-30 mins. That’s the reason and will feel hungry after 3-4hrs. That’s the reason for excess belly fat. So it is important to avoid simply carbs like rice and wheat and eat whole grains like millets. Also we should never eat sugar instead can incorporate pure jaggery.

Everything said is correct but one, it is not a poor man's food but the other way around. It is way costlier than the basmati and the organic ones are over the roof. When one eats this 3 times a day, the common man can feel the hole in the pocket. Hope the International Year of the Millets gets the price down considerably else the common man will not incorporate this grain in their diet for sure. I eat only millets now and love it.
