I learned that brands and logos are meant to be, you know, easy for people to tell what it is by standing out back when I took marketing classes, but you're the supposed expert on why dreadful design is popular.
There are decals of the original ps logo colors for that. And it looks amazing. I really do not like the fact thar sony removed the logo and controller buttons colors.
On my OG PS5 I did LED's on mine with LED 2 strips on the center vents and 2 circle LEDs around the fans on both sides. It looks like a Vegas casino when all turned on. I also have smoked translucent plates, a grey center decal (Dbrand), a multi usb hub in the center with 5 usb ports and one type-c port(Megadream) and horizontal skate stands (Glistco).
I did this with a OG PS logo decal sticker I got on eBay for a few dollars. Made a big difference and makes me not want to switch to aftermarket plates to not loose that logo
I have the classic PS colors as my Logo, black panels I sprayed myself, and when my console is on the light is purple. Looks like a Sith PS5. Pretty dope imo.
I got those classic decals a few years ago and it looks amazing with the Midnight Black plates. Mine also came with the smaller logos that are supposed to be for the logo on the controllers, but those were garbage, so I didn’t even use them.
I just bought some third party ps1 colored plates off of aliexpress for my og ps5. They included 2 cool stickers. They cost about 30 bucks and it matches my 30th anniversary controller pretty good.
The puffy stickers looks good on both my ps5 and pro , but I can only imagine what those talented air brush or artist do? ! Chilling in California for the holidays with two artists one my wife and one my stepdaughter makes me wonder?!
This reminds me of the speech class assignment where they give you a topic and you have 10 seconds to prepare a 2 minute speech. That being said, it does look kind of cool.
if i had to solder that in. I may not have a console anymore. hey off you can pull it off. Even the hacks for the consoles are kinda iffy. Was there any point of putting security check for disks? Dreamcast didn't have it and played burnt disks fine. Makes everyone happy. So many ports most of these consoles have for attachments. They could of done most that stuff with some sort of adapter that plugs into all sorts of ports on these consoles. If your going to put chip or hack may as well go the computer route. emulate the game or get the computer version first. Don't want to see destroyed hardware.
I feel like the word guide should have been in this title somewhere. But yeah, nice video! True enough that most modifications seem way too "I'm not going to mess around doing that" level. But this isn't a bad thing to do if you have the system up vertically most of the time.
You can improve on this idea and use a small RGB light to put behind that cover to actually light it up and change its colors through a control, and if it can be powered thru usb... even better
I got a classic coloured playstation logo sticker and a 30the anniversary sticker it came with retro style ps1 plates for the base ps5 from AliExpress i made myself my own classic style ps1 usb c charging cable using an old ps1 controller simply cut the controller end piece off carefully cut around the edges and glued the usb c cable and outer parts together it works if your missing out on getting the piece from the 30th anniversary consoles

4:20 highly recommend this! I’ve had it for almost 2 years now and they haven’t peeled off and look and feel great.
