I remember paying almost $500 for a 2tb firecuda 2 years ago 😭 Last year I upgraded to a 4tb drive for like $375.. I have like 20 games installed between the console storage and the drive and still have a lot of free space. Great to see the prices going down on these.

Some 4tb's are expensive - depending on the brand - but are very much worth it. I have one installed on my PS5, and have barely got up to on 1tb, so far. My game catalog consists of 13 physical games, and 2 digital. Which isn't bad.
@@BlazeAlienIf you are going to make an argument about why one platform is better, then at least make a valid argument. Starfield is not even out yet, and as of right now Call of Duty is still multi platform. Also, both can be played on a PC anyway, without the need for an Xbox.
@@shyamal903 series x is stronger and more powerful than a PS5. We get games on launch day for free with gamepass. PS5 is just worse in every way and is more expensive.
@@BlazeAlien The Xbox Series X is only marginally more powerful than the PS5, and has a slower SSD (so is less powerful in certain aspects). It barely has any exclusive games available right now, plus any exclusives that it will ever get can just be played on a PC, on launch day, without the need for an Xbox at all. I know PlayStation games are coming to PC as well, but that happens a few years after it comes to PlayStation consoles. Also, expanding the internal storage might be easier on Xbox, but is far more expensive. So please, when you try to start a platform war, please understand that there are some things that Xbox does better and some things that PlayStation does better. Saying "PS5 is just worse in every way" is factually wrong, as I have just proven.
Check out Mercari every once in awhile because you could get lucky. I grabbed a 2TB for my XSX. I think it, “fell off the back of a truck” and the seller just wanted some quick cash. No way I was paying anywhere over $215 (my price point) for that thing. They’re nuts still charging $399 for the 2TB.
You don't really need a temperature test. Drives usually won't require a heatsink but it can hinder performance. Putting a heatsink on boosts performance to max already. As long as the drive stays below "burns your finger off" it'll perform at peak capacity.
Its just the SSD bro, are people dumb ? Surface ssd maybe go from 56°C to 42°C lol, changes nothing to overall heating, find a cooler for cpu and gpu instead
This is the problem with this generation of consoles. The most interesting topic that you can come up with to talk about is expanding storage. Expanding storage for not enough games. You can put all the PS4 games on a regular hard drive but yet we talk about SSD‘s expansion on the PlayStation five like it’s some amazing upgrade. But, you don’t need it. Whatever game you’re playing you can put on your SSD in 20 seconds to move it. We don’t have enough to talk about in terms of new games and new tech and new IP that all we can come up with expand your storage.it’s become more boring than personal computers and that’s just sad
I ended up getting a WD 2 TB drive last year for about $260 and I've been happy with it. I heard the speeds were faster with 2 TB and up so that's why I opted for that over the 1 TB
I picked up a 4 TB Seagate Firecuda back in July and moved all of my PS4 (a lot!) plus my PS5 games to the drive and it’s just barely over half-full. So far, so good…games run just as good as the internal drive. The heat sink you installed is really nice!
I've been running the elecgear and the firecuda 4tb for about 1.5yrs now. It's been awesome Nas tested all the major heatsinks. Elecgear was king followed by the sabrent heatsink.
Right! NasCompares was a fantastic resource on TH-cam when the Sony applied their system update on PS5 to include NVME storage options. He went crazy doing speed and heat tests among many of the 3rd party NVME drive and heatsink options. I did end up going with Sabrent panel because the difference was minimal between that and the elecgear, IIRC the Elecgear is a bit more expensive than Sabrent. But both options dispersed heat more effectively over longer periods of time compared to the traditional heatsink options w/ the default PS5 lid on.

The WD SN770 1TB NVME is $59.99 at Walmart as I’m commenting this. Judging from reviews I’ve watched, it’s a nice SSD to put in the PS5 so I’ll be using it for mine as soon as it gets delivered here.
That’s what my concerns were but all the reviews I’ve watched said there’s no noticeable differences between the PS5 SSD and that everything worked out
@@CarlOnDuty.95 The thing is, you're unlikely to see ANY differences in 90% of games. The vast majority of them aren't coming close to needing the throughput yet. The rest will stutter and struggle if the drive is too slow, but, if the user is aware, they could just install those games on the PS5's SSD. This is likely to change with newer-gen PS5 only titles, so may become more of an issue in the coming years, but, it's probably worth the gamble at that price imo
Memory storage size has gone up fast! Not too long ago when the 8MB memory cards for the GameCube was out about 20 years ago, that was a lot. Not long after with the release of the first iPhone about 15 years ago it was then GB. Now we're talking TB. That's impressive in such a short amount of time.
I took my 2tb 980 pro out earlier today to check and update the firmware (PSA: if you have this 2tb model from 2021 the firmware probably needs updating) and was surprised the PS5 didn’t insist on reformatting it after sticking it in my pc and updating it.

Xbox Fan here, and I LOVE how Sony did this.....for $400 on X/S you only get 2TB, for $250 you can get 4TB on PS5....double the storage for almost half the price. MS has to get a handle on their expansion card for the X/S, they have to cut the prices in by at least 30% to make sense at all. I spent $200 on a 1TB for my Series S, while only spending $130 for a 2TB drive from my PS5....yeah, it was easier to upgrade the Series S, but NOT DOUBLE the price easier...Storage is really the only place Sony has over the XBOX Series systems.....everything else is kind of a wash, or the XBOX is better....like I got my Series S for $200, and getting a 1TB drive for it cost me as much as buying the system. Yeah, I like GamePass and it has a lot of games, but whats the point of having all those games available, if theirs no space to install them?
Just bought a 4TB WD 850X for $300. Prices are just crazy right now. I used the Sabrent PS5 heat sink. Works great for $17 and doesn't block airflow for the PS5 the way that big one in the video does.
Good thing for people to know before doing this: the screws for the m2 are usually stripped. So use electrical tape. You need to make a little buffer out of electrical tape to keep a gap between the m2 and the console, then tape it in place so it doesnt move around disconnect.
@@ArtisChroniclesI am also going to likely have to get an entire 3DS shell and hardware just to replace one fuckin screw and the back plate of my 3DS. pro-tip from a long time pc builder: take the sticker off your nvme drive so your chips are actually being cooled by your heatsink. There will be some cooling either way but youre insulating the chips from cooling by leaving the sticker on. some companies have their sticker made out of a heat conductive material but a lot, especially smaller no name companies, its just a regular ol sticker. nvme drives can get very hot and there is never an "overkill" when youre protecting your hardware from throttling or especially protecting it from death. consoles dont have the same tools us pc users have and you cant actively monitor your hardware temps and stop what youre doing if theres a problem and the temps spike to dangerous levels. so especially on console you might as well give your hardware the best chance it has at a long fast life. I always peel the stickers off the PCB and stick it to the plastic in the ssd box incase i ever need to reinstall it on the drive (i never have but im always paranoid about throwing things away)
@@miraaono4163 I was referring specifically to m.2 ssds that would be getting a heatsink. If there's no heatsink or if it's not a drive with exposed memory chips then there's no need to peel off the stickers.
I upgraded to a 4TB WD NVME a few months ago when Best buy had them on sale for Cyber Monday. I haven't filled it up yet, but I anticipate filling it up before the end of the year. That NVME has been a game changer for me. It is much easier to re-visit some of my older PS5 games now without having to either move them from a USB drive to internal storage or re-download them.
No need to move games from external to internal Just copy games from external to internal then when you need space on internal just delete games on internal & if you want to play the games again just copy them again
I really liked this video. I'm a sucker for overkill mods XD. This seems to be right up my alley. Even so, I might just go for a 2TB, although I'm really digging that heatsink
just did same mod (looking after several options but did go with this being overkill 😎)... 4Tb M2-drive (should have to check type/brand, but was selected on website where you can filter by prize, heatshield, speed, size,...). combined with his heatsink but "modded the mod" by milling away a part on top (line on the front) to make it compatible with RGB-strips i also had ordered (that bit less compared to the overkill in size...) also other faceplates, Carbon fiber (sticker) in middle and controller got RGB buttons, carbon skin (middle) and small covers on the thumbsticks.
My Gammix S70 Blade 2TB gave me just shy of 6,500 so I was very surprised with that lower speed. Only thing I did was use a different heat sink because I didn’t trust that little piece of aluminum. No issues at all and I grabbed it last year for under $175 from Amazon.
My 1tb WD gives me 6540. That's consistent with my new model because on March 25th I traded in my launch model for a new one at gamestop new one gave me same speed like my old one .
I have the sabrent rocket 2tb drive with the heatsink that was the first like that with the cover being a heatsink and it works amazing has a constant 7300 write speed.
Great video! The SN850X 4TB NVMe drive was $299 a few days ago. I paid $299 for my FireCuda 530 4TB during a Best Buy pricing errors last year, and it's been phenomenal. If you still haven't upgraded your internal, I'd recommend going with at least a 2TB drive.
@@FNKYMNKY003 That's the way it goes unfortunately, haha. Whenever you're content with a price, go for it. If not, you'll always be looking for new deals instead of enjoying it in the moment.
I got a 1TB $63 Crucial M.2 NVME for the PS5 that is PS5 compatible right out of the box. 5560MB/s was nice to see showing up on the PS5, so it meets / exceeds the minimum recommended spec. The $63 drive even came with a heatsink pre-applied to it. You can get one for $53 without a heatsink on it, but I opted to just go for the all-in-one solution that had everything ready to go. Could have saved like $2 going with an aftermarket one, but was glad to pay a bit more and just pop it in and go.
I got my PS5 about 6 months ago at MSRP, which due to a series of very fortunate events left me enough to immediately get a 4tb storage expansion for about $3xx with a built in heatsink.
i bought a ps5 a few weeks ago and first thing i did was order a 4TB ssd. i noticed my lil nephew running out of space on his ps5 so i ordered him a 2TB. we never looked back
Of course 1tb is never enough I had my 4tb for about a month now and I paid $400 with Heatsink and believe me you it's well worth it. Not worrying about storage and If I put anything on my external hard drive it's just because I can do it and that's nice to have
I like having all my games installed and ready to go, I have a 5tb external for my PS4 library but need something like this for my growing PS5 collection. Any cross gen or indie/style games I’ll keep on PS4 / switch so precious SSD space is for games that take more advantage of the PS5 hardware.
I would agree and given that we've had a slow start to this gen game-wise due to covid, I could see being really happy to have that 4tb a couple of years from now given the large number of PS5 exclusives coming out. I had a 4TB external on my PS4 Pro and by the end of the gen, it was getting pretty close to being full.
I'm curious how Sony plans to implement these SSDs into the upcoming PS5 Slim revision. They will probably have to make some changes like the location of the drive in the system. It really depends on what the design of the Slim is and what it's going to look like.
They could have some sort of port and a plate that you can take/slide out of the PS5 slim, install it on that plate and slide it back in. (My English isn't great but i hope you understand what i'm trying to say.) 🙂
@Laurent de backer sounds similar to the HDD system the slim xbox 360 used. If so that's a very good idea as I'd imagine with the much smaller form factor of nvme m.2 and the time that has passed since slim x360 days. They should be able to incorporate something like that and without it being a hassle to swap out.
@@treflippa2 Oh, i didn't have an XBOX 360 (slim). But i think this could be a good idea. Of course, there are much smarter engineers over there at Sony than i am. 😅 But it's just something i had in mind. The easier to swap out the better i guess. 🙂
I have my 4TB FireCuda 530 with that exact same heat-sync (ElecGear) for a year now. I have all my PS4 and PS5 games stored on it and I still have 1.1TB of free space while there's nothing on the PS5 internal storage so I still have about the 660GB free. Perhaps my games collection is not that big compared to others, but as you can see (based on the size of about 3TB) there are quite of few including games that exceed 100GB. I'm happy with the choice I made as the drive and the heat-sync are performing perfectly, even though I paid about 800$ USD for the drive and 40$ USD for the heat-sync. I guess the same drive now costs about 460$ (as seen on amazon) which is almost half of what I paid at the time which is a bummer for me; and good news for those who would like to try it.
That's the thing with XBOX, it is really easy to install but man those expansion cards are expensive! Happy i have a 2TB on my PS5. But for my Series X, i'm still waiting for prices to drop. I hope this year we will get some good deals on it. I'm constantly running out of space. Which is really annoying. And yes, i know you can connect an external HDD/SSD on the Series X but you can't play your Series X (next gen) games on that.
@@xXJEDI007Xx Yeah true, i've seen that video. But i mean, let's be real. Next gen games using Unreal 5 and needing that speed of the internal SSD will be more and more common. @@jamesw884 Well let's hope. I have a 2TB WD in my PS5 since the support for the NVME slot was confirmed. It really was a whole different world! No stress about having to delete games etc... I really hope that if true, WD will make a difference and Seagate will finally drop their prices.
The heatsink is a bit of an interesting thing. Having the heat pipe just cover the length of the drive doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Then it's just evenly spreading that heat over the drive, but the pipe doesn't reach up to the fin stack to dissipate that heat. I don't think it's going to be anywhere near as effective as, say a CPU cooler; but then again, SSD's don't need a massive amount of cooling to begin with.
Idk why the gen 4 SSDs always recommend having heat sinks to the point some motherboards have them incorporated into their designs. The gen 3 nvme I have definitely doesn't run hot, never had a heat sink and has games run off of it. I'm constantly confused.
Some NVME coolers can actually be so overkill that they decrease performance slightly. Mild amounts of heat within an NVME can increase transfer speeds due to the encouragement of molecule and atomic movement, since heat is just movement of atoms. If the heat sink is too large, it can cause the NVME to become cold enough for the transfer speeds to slightly slow down.
Looks like a nice heat sink, but I believe the air goes under the cover for the expandable storage area. That’s why there’s a spacer under the memory card that just looks like a little Bebe. And you just completely block the airflow. There’s very little airflow directly under the plastic cover, and it is not guided.
There is almost no airflow that goes under the ssd, the hot components are on the top side, and heatsinks are designed to pull the heat away from the ssd and expel it, not push the cold air into the ssd to cool it. Any of these types of heatsinks are far superior then a built in heatsink with cover.

Just a note, nand flash works best when it's not being cooled, it's the controller that needs the cooling. What I've done with my NVMe drives is cut the thermal pad to ensure it only contacts the controller and removed the rest
You are right but done the wrong thing, that flash was being heated by the controller through the thermal paste, also as it moves through the different flash chips they haven’t received any preheat from the controller and the other flash chips. Manufacturers don’t put in millions into R&D to then put thermal pads where not needed when the could save a buck.
@@backupplan6058 you're right, the controller passively heats the nand, I won't dispute that, but the heat going from the controller through the pcb is a tiny fraction of the total waste heat being generated by the controller, and wouldn't by itself be enough to bring the nand to it's optimal operating temp. The nand will heat itself due to being worked, which will have a far greater effect than the controller leeching heat into the nand through the PCB. And if you were correct, why would you bother putting a heatsink on an NVMe drive to begin with? Surely running passively or a heatspreader would be the best option. If you cool just the controller the speed stays higher and the nand works more reliably than if you cool both.
@@timsmyth7942 maybe check out Gamers nexus's ask GN #90, they spoke to an expert about this issue. I didn't just blindly cut the thermal pad like an idiot, I listened to experts who recommend doing basically exactly what I did.
@@PaulTheFox1988 simple, the controller produces far more heat than the flash, significantly more and far faster. There is also one controller to several flash chips, saying it will heat itself, yea eventually but not from cold. Small reads throughout gameplay across those chips isn’t going to heat them at all but if it’s getting that heat from a constantly working controller then is not running cold.
NVMe's don't really need heatsinks at all, they only heat up when being stress tested or benchmarked but nearly all the time when gaming your just loading lots of little files in quick bursts... you will never end up in a situation where "My NVMe is overheating while playing CoD, it's slowing my game down."
A content creator like yourself should already have this by now. No excuses. This thing is on sale at Amazon by another brand. Also, if you get the 8tb hard drive added you can make that a PS4 save data as well. It will be like having 2 systems in one like I have.
I recently upgraded to a 4tb Lexar NVME for $240. I already had a basic heatsick that I used for it and it seems to be doing just fine! I like to have every game I own on tap, ready to play at any time, so I'd been getting tired of doing the game shuffle between my system 1tb and expanded 1tb drives. I've currently got the system drive mostly filled and the 4tb drive with a little over 1 TB available. I try to be strategic about which games I'm fine with just having the PS4 version on my 5tb external drive to keep as much space available on the SSD's.
I tried one of those Elecgear heat sinks when they first launched and the block was too thick and put a permanent bend in my NVME. Had to swap it out for the Sabrent model which fits perfectly.
I went with a 4TB Samsung one, and it's been working great. Still lot's of room to continue collecting new games and forget about ever having to deal with the hassle of re downloading anything... 🤙
I bought the Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 1tb on Amazon for $100 this past Christmas and runs great. Just 6 months later, the same 1tb runs for $70 and the 2tb is only $129. 😮
With solid state prices dropping steadily, I wish they'd consider a new solid state media to replace 4k blurays. 4k media on spinning discs leads to read errors, and live service leads to lower quality games.
They can afford more storage but the general consumer can't. It's cost cutting. If Sony wants people to buy the PS5, they need to keep cost in the 4 to 500 dollars range. Storage still isn't cheap
I'd suggest removing the brand sticker covering the flash chips before putting down the thermal pad. It likely has high thermal resistivity, and would contribute to lesser performance, even if by not much
Doesn't really matter too much. The controller chip should run as cool as possible, but the nand chips are fine at 60C and above. Still, its nice to know they're not at their limit while in use.
@@zybch yeah it's more in the sense that if you are splurging to get the best heatsink available, just remember to have as much thermal conductivity between it and the chips as you possibly can
It's 350$ now and 100$ on top of that to ship + import fees = 450$ Then you need a heatsink... The 2TB option is 130$ + 47$ ship and fees = 177$ I feel that is the best bang for your buck and more than enough for most people.

One of the best things about ps5 is the amount of ssd's you can choose from. Too bad xbox is stuck with overpriced ssds.

Xbox is still better. We have more games like Starfield and cod.
It has a controller, that while having better battery life, has only two new features over the Xbox One controller, USB-C and a share button. Saying "PS5 is just worse in every way" is factually wrong, as I have just proven.

temperature testing with and without that heatsink would be nice to see how it actually performs
You don't really need a temperature test. Drives usually won't require a heatsink but it can hinder performance. Putting a heatsink on boosts performance to max already. As long as the drive stays below "burns your finger off" it'll perform at peak capacity.

pro-tip from a long time pc builder: take the sticker off your nvme drive so your chips are actually being cooled by your heatsink.

I'm curious how Sony plans to implement these SSDs into the upcoming PS5 Slim revision. They will probably have to make some changes like the location of the drive in the system. It really depends on what the design of the Slim is and what it's going to look like.

I didn’t know PS5 needs an upgrade so soon it’s doing just fine what games are you having problems playing right now please list them ?

Yes they work, one has some stick drift. But I have also boight 2 of the new model controllers that are far less likely to have drift any of the new ones eith colors are the new models. Blie. Purple, etc. My wife uses kne, and the other new kne is ised when I have my Steamdeck docked to my tv and I game with a PS5 controller.
I've been using the Elecgear heatsink for a little over 14 months. No issues so far.
It's easily the best in class.
Manufacturers don’t put in millions into R&D to then put thermal pads where not needed when the could save a buck.
not the smartest move if the drive is designed right. best to use as tested.
I love that this randomly popped up on my TH-cam to watch! Thanks!!
A content creator like yourself should already have this by now. No excuses. This thing is on sale at Amazon by another brand. Also, if you get the 8tb hard drive added you can make that a PS4 save data as well. It will be like having 2 systems in one like I have.
Maybe he didn’t want it????
This is why Xbox series x is gonna be a problem.
I bought the Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 1tb on Amazon for $100 this past Christmas and runs great. Just 6 months later, the same 1tb runs for $70 and the 2tb is only $129. 😮
Xbox is so bad with its prioritory ssd
Hey Bro! I loved you in LOST.
"Puts thermal pad on top of sticker" (wonders why it's gonna overheat in 5 months)
That’s how it’s done. Good brands use heat conductive labels.
With solid state prices dropping steadily, I wish they'd consider a new solid state media to replace 4k blurays. 4k media on spinning discs leads to read errors, and live service leads to lower quality games.
Storage space is a damn scam, they can afford more storage space, when 3 games you release will fill up your consoles it's bs.
They can afford more storage but the general consumer can't. It's cost cutting. If Sony wants people to buy the PS5, they need to keep cost in the 4 to 500 dollars range. Storage still isn't cheap
@@SpencersStuffTV people are asking for 2tb gaming cosole for 400$, insane
Devs got lazy and forgot how to compress files.
@@daveunknown01 exactly. 💯
That jump scare at 4:50 really freaked me out. 😆
That heatsink looked awesome.
I love how pc components are coming into play stations build of the ps5 😊
I'd suggest removing the brand sticker covering the flash chips before putting down the thermal pad. It likely has high thermal resistivity, and would contribute to lesser performance, even if by not much
Doesn't really matter too much. The controller chip should run as cool as possible, but the nand chips are fine at 60C and above. Still, its nice to know they're not at their limit while in use.
@@zybch yeah it's more in the sense that if you are splurging to get the best heatsink available, just remember to have as much thermal conductivity between it and the chips as you possibly can
"is it overkill" is the wrong question. The question should be, "is it ballin'"? And the answer is yes.
It's 350$ now and 100$ on top of that to ship + import fees = 450$
Then you need a heatsink...
The 2TB option is 130$ + 47$ ship and fees = 177$
I feel that is the best bang for your buck and more than enough for most people.
Just ordered that heat sink...thank you! I had no idea those existed. *Btw...what's the game you're showing at the very beginning of the video. Looks like a guy on a spaceship???* It's a bit off topic, but I'm absolutely loving how pretty much every component of a PC build these days is dramatically cheaper (short of graphics cards). I priced a Mac Studio for music production work, and it was north of $4K. Building a PC with twice the specs (literally), was $2K. And, less than that, if I just go with a bare minimum graphics card. Thank you for sharing!
One thing that’s cool is even if you’re not a PS5 owner, PC players also benefit from the market cranking out so many high speed SSDs
Because of my fast Internet speeds, I never had any issues with storage. I never play more than 2 games at a time and if I wanna play something new, I can have it downloaded and playable in less than 15 mins.
I have a 2 TB SN850 (it was about 250$ at some black friday Amazon sale) and _the_ Sabrent heatsink. It's currently almost full, but only because I kept installing games and haven't really deleted unused ones.
2 TB is plenty for me, mainly also because I've been playing mostly on my Deck for the past year.
Are the pads necessary?
NasCompares did I really great breakdown on like every heatsink and temps as well under load
I put the 2TB 980 Pro in my PS5, and the 8TB WD Black as my external mechanical drive. So far I have 111 games installed and still have terabytes left over. I do see a 4TB upgrade in my future at these prices.
Nobody cares.
@Adrian Trusca And neither should they. I could have worded it better. My point is that for the price of half a dozen or so AAA games and a PSN premium account, you can have a library of hundreds of games ready to play. It's a fantastic value. Your reply made me reread what I had posted, and without context, my OP could be seen as smug. That wasn't my intention. I'm 55 and have raised five kids, so stretching a buck has always been important and common sense. So, thanks for reminding me that we're never too old for a little personal insight and choosing how we say things in a more considered fashion.
@@Drewboo1968 great man your kids are blessed
@Goestheboom LOL, thanks. My kids might not agree. They think I'm too strict because I expect them to behave with common courtesy and decency towards their fellow human beings. My youngest is still at home, he's 19 and objects to daily chores and a bedroom inspection. Lol, but he's a good kid!
@@Drewboo1968 I'd say brother at 19 a bedroom inspection is a little too far for a grown kid now he might not act grown but at that point in life as a man life starts to teach you these lessons instead of mom and dad as long as the boys not doing hard drugs, not sleeping around, and has a job or is in college than that's all that really matters at that age but I was the same way and still am on the chores myself 😅 when I was 19 I wouldn't do nothing but now I do just don't keep my room the neatest but yeah both me and my sister are in our 20s and at this point my parents kinda just give us advice wether we listen to it is completely up to us and we'll have to pay the consequences for those actions given we are adults
Excellent video Jon(SW).
The 1TB is definitely good too get you started with the PS5 guys but you will be Deleted and Redownloading Content, I have a 1TB Seagate Firecuda SSD at the mo.
I wouldn't mind getting a bigger SSD for the PS5 at some point and this Cheap 4TB SSD is looking like a very good Option indeed and that Heatsink Cover looks pretty Epic lol.
Good stuff, this combo will be very popular.
I have the 2 TB SN850 from WD, fantastic piece of hardware, it was only like $169.99
Probably would have been a good idea to remove the sticker off the drive before applying the thermal pad. Just a thought.
And please make sure that removing the sticker doesn't void your warranty. Because some brands on some countries do require the sticker for warranty claim.
Went with the Samsung 990 2TB for $169 and this heatsink, works great!
Games are getting bigger and bigger. 4tb sounds like a good way to go
I’m still trying to find a 2tb m.2. I would love a 4tb one, but if a regular 4tb ssd is very expensive, i know I’m not gonna wanna pay that much lmao. 1tb isn’t enough imo, but I’ll be able to work with 2tb
I picked one up from Amazon on the 31st because the Samsung 980 pro was $149.99
@@BiggMatt183 cgeck your firmware. If it is starting with a 3 you should update it asap. The version 3 is dying at rapidly.
I don't even have a PS5 (I play on PC and Xbox Series X) and I like this video.
Been rockin the 4TB sabrent one for awhile now, still working great.
