    Warning! Be careful with the larger pitcher blades. They are razors! The inner part fell out onto my wrist while I was pouring and laid me open with three deep cuts requiring over 20 stitches.

    Carrots will stain plastic when it’s puréed. One thing that can help remove it is using vegetable oil then wash it as normal.

    I had that staining happen to me with a very cheap Black & Decker mini chopperusing it to chop tomatoes. I just had to put Dawn liquid dish detergent into the dry container. Then scrub with a somewhat dry sponge. Then add not water and then scrub again. Then the tomato stains disappeared.
    I use shredded carrots and shredded raw cabbage for coleslaw and pickling. : )

    I wonder how it copes with peanuts. I have a Magimix that I've been using to make peanut butter (and other things!) for 30 years. It works great and the motor is as good as new. Unfortunately some of the plastic parts on the base are starting to go and I haven't found a replacement.

    • @TheAverageKitchen
      @TheAverageKitchen  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TheAverageKitchen Thanks. The cleaning won’t be a problem as it shouldn’t be much different from what I’ve done for the last 30 years :-)
      For more liquid things there should be less cleaning as it has a gasket. The Magimix needed careful management otherwise I’d be literally in the soup.

    Can you get just a regular lid for the ninja XL food processor so that when you do make dough it doesn't splatter all over the lid you have to use for the chopper and shredder? It's a pain having to clean and wash all that because the flour goes all over ... Just a regular basic lid would be awesome

There answer was run an Apple through the machine and it will take care of the orange staining. Hope it works for this as well. It would have been better if you hadn't skipped over showing us the result of pulse. Without pulse, the food procesor basically purees everything.

    This is a dangerous device, when you take the disk out you must grab the disk by the center piece and which puts your finger right on the sharp blade. How many people have cut themselves?

Almost like when black people typically say AX a question instead of ASK a question. It's a sign of ignorance and laziness. Like boaf instead of both. Or NUKE YOU LAR instead of NU CLEE AR. You are Canadian so you may say Al U Min EE UM in stead of A LU MEH NUM. no extra I in aluminum. A wise man accepts reproof but a fool rejects it. Proverbs 9:8-10
