Film discription: The Dark Knight of Gotham City confronts a dastardly duo: Two-Face and the Riddler. Formerly District Attorney Harvey Dent, Two-Face incorrectly believes Batman caused the courtroom accident which left him disfigured on one side; he has unleashed a reign of terror on the good people of Gotham. Edward Nygma, computer-genius and former employee of millionaire Bruce Wayne, is out to get the philanthropist; as The Riddler he perfects a device for draining information from all the brains in Gotham, including Bruce Wayne's knowledge of his other identity. Robin's costume was good in this movie

I gotta admit this movie isn't that bad but the Doc is way too thirsty and unprofessional. Also I never pictured Tommy Lee Jones as Harvey Dent/ Two-Face. He's too damn annoying.

So I just want to point out that two face was probably moreso the good guy in this movie.
He was the DA. He must’ve seen so many people turn into criminals Bc of things like homelessness, and people like the Waynes bought up all the housing then jacked up prices so people would need loans to get by.
Harvey in his origin was addressing a guy who did that, saying that he’d make sure the guy gives the housing back. This escalates and they fight with guns. Then Batman comes, and knocks Harvey into acid.

I agree! Robin's Reckoning right there! As a superhero fan, it's always a special moment where they wear that symbolic costume! Shame they didn't keep that costume for "Batman and Robin".

When Two-Face said "You're a man after our own heart son." He pretty much told Robin he was just like him. So naturally Robin isn't having any of that.
Shanethefilmmaker no actually that was meant to mean something more. In the Batman Forever book by Peter David, Robin asks Two Face at the end to flip the coin for himself since he does that to everyone else. Face does so and WITHOUT looking at the result, he says to Robin “We were right, you are after our own heart and, you have ripped it out of us. You owe us one sunny”. Face then commits suicide. Robin says “I didn’t mean to kill him” and Batman says “don’t be sorry, for the first time in a long while,he made a decision that was truly his own”.

Tyler Lamb I know. Makes me sad that Joel is unfairly blamed for Forever and Batman and Robin when, the movies he wanted to make were excellent until Warner Brothers screwed both movies up

This is why Grayson is Bruce's greatest success. He is not motivated by vengeance but his motive is the persuit of bring his parents murderer in front of justice.
I thought it was Jason, as his father was somewhat had connections to Two-Face
Let's not kid ourselves. Batman still wanted to kill Jack Napier for murdering his parents and his handful of coins was meant to send Dent to his death. Regarding Two-Face, perhaps he wanted to save Dick from carrying the burden he talked about earlier. Bats has always been about vengeance first, justice second.

This scene was also done in the animated series when Batman threw a box of silver dollars at twoface and he couldn’t find his coin the frantic search resulted in him collapsing on the casino floor in grief
As for Batman he has admitted he wanted to hunt him down to end the pain but he knows the pain doesn’t leave it just grows with the next one
Chris O'Donnell's portrayal of Robin is one of the reasons I like Batman Forever! He was cool in the role and the suit. Plus, he's the only reason I watched "Batman and Robin." Loved the moment at 0:26 - Robin's Reckoning!
I still don't understand the physics principles that let Batman do what he does in this scene... Who cares, it's awesome!

This is actually one of the few times in the movie in which Tommy Lee Jones isn’t overacting as Two-Face.

This movie was pretty 50/50 for me. The villains were way off and the nipples were a bit much, but I was fine with everything else. Had some cool scenes too. Like 0:26

Robin might have gotten his wish, because in Batman and Robin, when Bane was getting Mr. Freeze's cryogenic suit, Two-Face's suit can be seen in the criminal property locker. The same is said for The Riddler's outfit.

I'm not the biggest fan of Joel's Batman films, but I feel Batman and Robin is the only one that's legitimately terrible. As a kid, I thought Batman Forever was pretty good, and nowadays, I think it's still a decent enough film.
Also I loved the costume on robin both green and red with muscle padding on it , because it pays homage to the 90's animated Batman series and Adam west and burt Ward's Batman series.
I still don't understand how Batman could access the top platform (2:02). Where did that door come from? Was the whole platform a hologram?

Lazy screenwriting again. Same with the part when Bruce slides down a tube from his office which takes him to the Baat-Cave, then when he pops out to Alfred he's in a sarcophagus looking thing. Where did that come from?
@@teslacoilsmusic First of all Bruce would have had to have built a giant tunnel running through the sewers of Gotham City, secondly the tunnel would have had to have run through the lower floors of Wayne Enterprises, finally the tunnel would have had to have run for at least 30 miles (Wayne Manor is outside the city), there is no way he could have constructed that without anyone knowing. The construction crew that would have been needed for such a job, how would Wayne know they would keep quiet? Not to mention again it would have been blatantly obvious to everyone what Wayne was building and would make it pretty easy to figure out that he was Batman, and the return on investment doesn't really seem that high, he's going to go through all of that trouble just in case he happens to see the Bat signal while he's at his office? From what the movie seemed to imply Wayne doesn't visit the office that often. The whole thing is just absurd on so many levels.

Robin should've kicked Two Face’s gun and knock him out cold once he pointed it to his face, then catch up and help Batman to fight The Riddler and rescue Dr. Chase Meridian rather than getting captured.
To be fair Chris O’Donnell was good as Robin, too bad he was given terrible scripts for Joel Schumacher's Batman films, he deserved better than what he got. Hope we get to see Robin on the big screen again, maybe we might see him in Matt Reeves' Batman Universe.

He most likely had help. He probably called sugar and spice to come get him inside before commanding them to tie and gag him while maybe other goons set up a second tube. Or maybe as soon as riddler saw batman had brought Robin along during the water sequence he ordered a second tube to be put up which meant the moment two face kidnapped Robin, the tube would already be ready and all they'd have to do is tie him up and gag him
