At 13:20; 30:50 and 34:51 you can clearly see an oil line attached to the top of the turbo; the line inserts in a port on the left intake manifold. Neither this line nor any accompanying O-rings are shown in Mercedes EPC for a 2015 GL 350 BlueTEC. Is this line simply a pressure fit into the intake manifold? Do you have a part number for the O-rings?

Great video, thanks. One question... My understanding was this problem was only present on OM642 engines built before 2010, newer engines received the updated Viton version of the oil cooler seals. This 2017 was also leaking?

Mine is 2014 , started leaking the oil around 95,000 miles. Got it repair at MB Dealer. At 110,000 I thing its leaking again.

@@rexhvac any engine past 2010 is not MB, but fiat. not same engine at all.

It didn’t look like it was leaking! Did you just replaced the seals to avoid future leaks with upgraded seals?

Ohh wait i think you made a mistake on a year model! It must’ve been 2016 not 2017 because 2017 they don’t make diesel engines for United States!

I wouldn’t pay for this job, keeping in mind that swirl flaps and valves’ ports were not cleaned from the carbon deposits

Have to change the M55 - intake shutter motor - from now on I totally hate this NAZZI cars. Use to repair a lot of them, every time I discover - THEY MADE EVERYTHING to repair HARDER as it is possible - THEY MADE THAT FOR PURPOSE - to have MORE and more money from the owners.
So after 150 000 km those and all of the models are FINISHED, DEAD, course the plastic they use, the gaskets they use are just made to last max. 10 YEARS, maximum.
I quit repairing those cars. This will be the last one.
Merc, BMW, VW - absolutely 👎.
