Not trying to troll or hate, just some constructive criticism based on my experience watching this ps4 elite series. Again great content and the mods look great.
The Curious Consumer I bought an Elite for my PS4 as well as a Cronusmax Plus and a USB hub. Despite using the correct Hub ports, a Hub confirmed on their forum as working and numerous workarounds suggested by them, I couldn't get it working through the Hub to get around the 7 minute disconnect problem with the DualShock 4. Aiming also felt overly heavy and unresponsive despite using the software's USB speed up settings, supposedly there to reduce input lag. I sent my Elite and Cronusmax back. 0/10 would not recommend.
I wouldn't use a hub with it. I don't have a Microsoft Elite controller, so I can't comment on that part, but the Cronus Max works excellent. The PS3 and PS4 controllers do have to be plugged into the Cronus Max via their USB cables, basically making them wired-only controllers, but it's more than worth it. The XBox 360 controller works perfectly on the PS3/4 if it's plugged into the Cronus Max (via USB cord), but it also works perfectly wireless if you have the Xbox 360 wireless adapter, which would be plugged into the Cronus Max dongle (lol). As far as I know, the Xbox One (and I imagine the Elite as well) has to be plugged into the Cronus Max, like the PS controllers. I have the wireless adapter for the XB1, but as of a few months ago it wasn't compatible with the Cronus Max, unfortunately. Maybe an update has come out since then, but I haven't checked. That's my guess as to why it didn't work for you, because you didn't plug the Elite controller into the Cronus Max dongle with the USB cord. If you did plug it in, well, bummer. I don't have an answer to fix it. But the Cronus Max is definitely a great product in my opinion.
Oh and I have the Cronus Max, which doesn't have Bluetooth. The gentleman the posted the original comment, mentioned the Cronus Max Plus, which does have Bluetooth.
RL had the same issue, what it came down to was not touching the ps button to power on the PS4 controller. With the PS4 plugged into the hub but not lighten up it worked perfectly. Went through a few USB hubs before I figured it out.

Gonna order the parts from this series tonight to mod 1 and see how it feels before doing the other. Thanks for these vids man, I saw some comments about too much detail but it's nice to see everything for reference. Some YT'ers skip a lot of the details and it's frustrating if I needed to see something for reference, it's easy enough to skip forward so don't change up how you do these vids. Keep up the great work! Just one thing though, lower the background music a bit, was hard to hear you at some points.
for the remapping, does it ipen up those for new uses? like, if i mal it to x can i mkae x reload or something but keep the paddle as jump? or is that omly for those $300 controllers?
I've been planning on doing this same modification, but I never thought of modifying the d pad like that. The strike pack is a must for me, and the Xbox elite joysticks are quite necessary because the standard DS4 joysticks are absolute trash, and I'm not really interested in purchasing Kontrolfreaks as well. I might add a new skin to the controller. Possibly a silicone grip just to make it more comfortable and make it anti-slip. Trigger extensions would be nice but I hear the fall off easily, so if I find internal extensions it will definitely be a must purchase. I'm also thinking of replacing all of my buttons, just for for the look. Though I am planning to transition to Xbox for multiplayer and just keep my PS4 around for the PS exclusives, it will just be nice to have an elite competitive controller for my PS4 around.

I really like the paddles on the strikepack and it's hard for me to play without them now. Was that being said I've already broken two of these modpacks because the small connector that slides into the controller Wiggles loose and disconnects. They need to make that more sturdy

Mr.Nibbles they do work with the new games and they are constantly giving updates for these, just look up the channel collective minds. Also some of the mods are going to work with any shooter because of the way they function. Alot of the new games have limits on how fast you can shoot. In bf1 for example i can already reach the max rate of fire without mods, but there is already an auto spot mod and more to come.

josh56040 whats wrong with the stock triggers? If you are looking for trigger stops get something like trigger devils, they just snap on your stock triggers.
Henri Lyyjynen I would rather get the first edition trigger devils because they are snap on and you can take them off if you want. On the newer version they stick onto the trigger so if a game doesnt work with trigger stops then youll have to rip it off and put on more sticky tape to put it back on
I have this controller mod and the full auto is insane on some weapons. I used it with the Clever Dragon in Destiny and the semi auto rifle in Titanfall 2. In Destiny, i had to make the same adjustments for second weapon because it switches weapons because triangle. If you make them both the same, itll always be the same for primary and secondary even if they swap. And id have the rapid fire turned all the way up.
You have to have your controller connected to your ps4. Basically hook it up as if you were charging it and it will work. You gotta have it plugged in at all times to use it tho.

My second strikepack has now had the same problem. This product is actually trash, as it is very inconsistent. The paddles only register in-game sometimes, they don't always work. The strikepack itself sometimes makes some of my buttons on my controller malfunction. Like I will spam the x button to jump and nothing happens for 4-5 seconds. It works great out of the box, but after a couple of weeks this thing starts to completely malfunction for whatever reason.
I've been testing it out a lot tonight to find out what the problem is. It seems to be the strikepack itself. The reason I spam the x button is because I want to know whether it's the left paddle that isn't working, or if it's the game. It turns out the strikepack just disables some of my buttons at times. Sometimes when I spam the x button it literally will not work for a few seconds. The left paddle still malfunctions, as it isn't as responsive as the x button itself (I have x mapped to the left paddle). I'm trying to find a fix around this, but it seems it is the strikepack's compatability with the ps4. I have nothing else connected to the USB slots on my ps4, and it still seems to malfunction. When it was brand new out of the box, I don't remember having these problems. I'm not going to spend nearly $200 for scufs, but I was just hoping this product would work as intended. Support hasn't helped at all, and keeps trying to find ways to blame me for their faulty product. If you look at web reviews, others have the same problems. If you can afford to keep buying one every month, i guess it's a good product

lmaooooo those are both pump action weapons. You can only utilize the rapid fire with a semi-automatic weapon.
