- Hello everyone! This is a quick tutorial on how to make double wishbone suspension! This type of suspension is very good for very soft and bouncy rides. yeah no problem bro! I really enjoy his videos but he does go pretty fast in it. I'm currently working on kind of making my own design for his piston engine car, although its not working out too well. although I plan on releasing a video on a piston engine so stay tuned!

Thanks for the tutorial. Built a really conventional and economical van in survaival using this suspension, feels so soft on bad roads.

I paused this video about 60 times and ive only managed to build the front suspension, got to watch it again
First things first amazing video thank you very much for the help. So I just replicated everything but I’m not sure if I have things connected wrong because I can’t turn. My car sidesteps sorta speak. Any advice or help. It would be greatly appreciated please

Thanks for the video and was very nice and slow. Could you also do a video where you build a body frame around it? And show what are some of the best materials to use for the core
yeah man i'll have to work on that! I think its best to use lighter blocks unless you have some stronger suspension :)
@@MillenniumGames what would be some lighter blocks to use? Currently I have wood on my pick up truck and I can already feel the weight.
@@VickMenon well of coruse if you use a bunch of wood and stuff it gets heavy, but you can look in the craftbot to see what is light, it shows on the side where there is a description, but if you have stronger suspension it kind of balances it out!

just a idea you should put the ammounts of stuff to make this in the beginning of the video so they could farm for the stuff and have it all ready for building like you will need 4 curvewd pipes 8 bearings etc..

There's a difference between the survival bearings and the creative ones. This may not work as well in survival or it it may even not work at all.
I tested it - it works.
Thank you for this tutorial, and although this system isn't exactly what I'm looking for for my vehicle, I do have a question. How have you solved the lag issue with suspension parts? For me just placing two of them takes my FPS from 200+ down to sub-40, and any more than that just drops it to 10. It seems these things eat FPS for breakfast. How have you made yours not lag at all? Do you just have a supercomputer that can run the game at 2000 FPS?
yeah man i’m not sure how to fix it, i just have a really good computer :)

@@Noooo23523 Oh, yeah it might make the car heavier. I use a similar design in my survival world. I actually have an entire piston engine in the back and the front suspension like this. It works okay but its pretty cool haha

Great tutorial, thanks for the great build. One thing i don't understand is why all the horizontal bearings? The system is already rigid front-to-back, seems like the extra bearings should not be necessary (barring game-physics!) Would be glad to be enlightened!!
thanks man! so I've noticed that you definitely need a few of them. although the ones where the wheels are when the curved pipes connect underneath, i've never tried creating it without those. The reason for so many bearings is because a suspension glitch would appear. I based this video off of kAN's video, and he explained that it makes the suspension glitch go away. Although Lord Pain, who is the original creator of the suspension might have a more in depth review of it. I hope that kind of helps man!
@@MillenniumGames tried it in creative - could be me, and this is the first time I've tried it at all, but the up/down suspension seems fine, but even with off road wheels I could hardly keep the wheels on the ground (shocks on 1st tick). I'm an SM noob (1 week) so no bets here, probably something I'm doing...
@@VAXHeadroom it could be. try paying close attention to the video, also make sure the pipes are welded where shown in the video :)
@@MillenniumGames Hah - figured it out - I just grabbed wood blocks and made the vehicle out of wood. It's too light. Added some metal to it and it drives great :D

I made my own attempt at double wishbone for the first time... and I somehow made a suspension glitch. No idea whats causing it but the vehicle doesn't tilt. Somehow made the stabilizer glitch and no idea how
my car starts to bounce like CRAZY when it slightly flips
anyway to fix it?
Why not weld the front suspension to the back?
If you are lazy to repeat it on the back: copy the front with the lift, then take it off the lift, load another one and weld them together.

yo this is great and it works really well, but for some reason, using offroad suspension and going fast/dropping from heights keeps making it just glitch out. I've come to terms with the fact that I cannot make it with offroad, for some reason or another, but I have also found it turns sport suspension into an even better version of offroad suspension.
Kinda weird, ive used it offroad plenty of times
@@MillenniumGames It's not a problem of using the vehicle offroad, I just have a weird issue where I can't do the build with the actual offroad suspension.
Also, making it with sport and replacing the extra block space missing on the bottom works really well in survival. Doesn't need as many comp kits to make stiff suspension.
@@YEAHKINDAGAMES yeah i never tried that, thats a good idea tho, idk it worked for me with offroad - this is also a 3 month old video and the game may have changed since then. I also haven't played it in about 2 1/2 months. so I'm not sure whats changed :)
@@MillenniumGames It's for sure a problem with the bar that comes off of the bottom of the suspension, I'll try to see if I can find any workarounds. I still don't know if it's a game issue or a world issue though.
