I have one of these, and your comment about the the pegs being high is misleading to potential buyers as compared to a sports bike they are low in comparison. And looks like a scooter!! Lol sounds like you have a thing for scooters! Lol You can also change the screen from that white to dark (black with white)on the left bar at the push of a button. But not a bad review. But unnecessary negitive comments on comfort I'm also 6 2" and its very comfortable and your the only person who has reviewed this bike to say it's uncomfortable.
This is another excellent review with sensible comments from an experienced rider who knows what he is talking about. This is a nice bike but I would prefer the MT10SP any day. Enjoy the bike show this weekend and I hope you have great weather.
I do like it in a weird sort of way it surely is a lot of bike for quite a lot of money but not the most expensive by any stretch .The front end I think could grow on me but I think I would prefer the Z900RS for the more comfortable ride not as quick for sure . good review Cheers : )

@@MOTOUK1 thanks for responding, I just got a quote for about $700 a year, from progressive, now I’m definitely getting my bike, someone had told me it was going to be at least $350 a month, there was no way I could afford that, so glad I can get back to riding again, last time I rode was in 2003 had a R1.
Wait till you ride a modified one. We did full exhaust, sprint filter, intercooler, bov, clutch mod, new shock coming. Way more power. But best part it's powerbans
Nice bike, didn't quite tempt me away from the mt10. I had the same as you with regards to E10, first tank of it on the standard mapping and the bike has ran like absolute cr*p since. Thanks for the video

A bit pricey, to say all Kawasaki have really done is add a supercharger to a naked 1,000cc in line 4. I'd want more for the money considering I'd need to spend even more on braided hoses & an exhaust system (£2,000ish). Having said that; I would buy one, if I had the spare cash, simply because it's born iconic & bonkers. Pretty much like myself :)

That I know of that chirping Comes from The tips of the super charger blade breaking the speed of sound I have the The 1st time that how we tried it turbo charger on a bike I had the 750 turbo he too
Lol l thought that at first then when its sitting in the garage with that great finish and the lovely lines to the bike and the thought of taking it out at every opportunity it grows on you from every angle.... love mine I've had it a week now and its the best bike I've owned to date, and I've had quite a few.
9:25 in when you finally give the power output of the engine having mentioned the power of the engine so many times before but not actually given the figure! Also you say many times how linear the power is. I like the addition of a lean angle indicator. Boost gauge sounds cool as well. Got one on my supercharged car. Superchargers spin off the crank not the exhaust this is why the power delivery is so linear, available at low revs and does not come in with a huge rush around or above 6k revs like a turbo would do running off the exhaust. Aesthetics of the front are purely subjective. It's not the ugliest I've seen. It's ok imho. A bit strange you don't like it given you bought an MT-10! But that exhaust is indeed hideous. But I would still have a 1290 SDR 3.0 or Speed Triple RS over this even if they are slightly down on power. I haven't had to fill up yet since E10 came in but when I do it will be Shell V power 98/99 Octane E5 or similar in my bikes. Can't be bothered with draining the Ethanol out of E10 and adding an octane booster. E10 is just a sinister plot by the government to make most people who are clued up about engines buy premium E5 petrol as the tax take will be higher as it is quite a bit more expensive.

The 10 is a better bike in my opinion, the ZH2 is smoother but the 10 noise better 👍

So much for oh E10 is ok on newer bikes. I won’t be using again. The ZH2 while quick is nothing like the 10👍

Not one issue with E10 in my MT10 ive tried super unleaded for a few tanks then E10 for a few no bloody difference

You're right that nose is a bit weird looking bit too much of a bike for me if I'm honest.
Just too ugly for words. Gearing looks relatively short aswell, bit revvy. Anyway it’s all in the eye of the beholder.
