Those are pretty much radials. My friend has a 1400 hp Monte Carlo and he runs those nittos for a everyday driving so I think it’ll be fine😂but it would be good to have some mickey Thompson’s for the track

Good review but Hennessy is over priced and not the best company. Lots of shops accros the country that will do a better job and get more out of the car for WAAAAAAAAAAY less.

This is why I will never own a Tesla or any other all-electric car. I don't care that BMW pipes in fake engine sound from the speakers. I want to be able to hear and feel my engine. You just can't beat a V8 sports car.

Procharger without a built motor will only push about 650 ish on 91

The LT4 can handle ~1300-1500 on stock internals. Idk where you got 650 from... They come with forged internals

That is exactly what I did with my 2SS. About 40K less with 950 RWHP.
spending that much on a chevy seems silly. Building def seems wiser if this type of car is your thing.

Sick ride. I feel like the ding after the start up would probably sound annoying after while after owning it for a couple weeks. Everything else is flawless.
Great review- def jealous, but you did it justice! There are way to get 1k horsepower for less, but still a cool car and the warranty is worthwhile to some.

I would lime to know what cars you are talking about ? Not only will this car break into the 9's at the strip, it has world class braking and handling. SMH some people just don't get it .
Frank Rosado JR world class braking and handling is a stretch. If you’re going for Track performance ZL1 1LE is hard to beat, at least in its price.

This car is $130,000....buy a 1ss camaro, 8 grand for a supercharger kit, another let's say 5 for bolt ons like headers with full exhaust, cai and injectors, an upgraded clutch, wheels and tires for 3 to 5 grand, and a dyno tune....be between a 700-1000 hp car depending on how crazy you go with it, and even if you have a shop install it you'd likely be out the door for less than 60 grand total....so less than half the price of this car and equal performance. You are paying for a name....period.

Except you have an SS and not a ZL1. The SS doesn't handle like a ZL1. Factor in those upgrades, and the fact that you get no warranty with your upgrade choices and there goes your "deal".
Brandon Werner for the difference in price you could literally fix anything that broke warranty or not with plenty of money left over. Get a 1le package with magnaride and the zl1 doesn't come into play
jrvbamafan1 Add the 1LE package and you still don't have the option of the 10 speed trans. There's a reason the ZL1 1LE is so much quicker than a 1SS with equivalent power...
Also, where is the $130,000 price tag coming from? The ZL1 1LE is under $65,000 even with desirable options added, and the upgrades are at most $55,000. That is less than $120,000. Where did the extra 10 grand come from?
I took a 2010 Camaro and put a ProCharger on it and got 505 wheel hp and it was a blast. No Camaro around had the supercharger on them and it was a mid 9 second car in the 1/4 mile at 140 MPH. Back in 2010 this Camaro was a SS Sleeper. It was a Mustang GT eater. The Ford Dealer had a Mustang Shelby On his showroom floor and I offered to race him but he saw my car run and refused.

His information is wrong. If you go on the Hennessy Exorcist website it says for 55k they swap out the engines!
That's where I got the information from! Even is he did put a built engine in it, which is not needed since the stock LT4 can take well over 1K hp and a secondary fueling system in it, it's no where close to half of that 55K. lol

You have seen many reviews on the car. Most of them don't ever stay out of the shop more than a couple days. Didn't a couple owners ask money back since the cars kept breaking down.

The one thing that is really disappointing, esp at this price point, is the air intake. I mean...$55k and it's got a ricer-esque hot air intake?
Hennessey should have developed a new cowl induction hood that seals to the airbox.
$64k with the automatic is basically a match for the original selling price of the ZL1...it should come with more than an upgraded blower, boltons/tune, and some stickers.

Just imaging buying any 2013+ MY HSV and spending close to 70K on top of the cost of a new car, it would eat up the Exorcist ZL1 full stop, nothing to say bad about hennessy,but he is running a business and not building car just for the fun of it, yet his business is building cars and its fun for him in the work he does, but you can have a barr 6 engine in a old 1980's car and it will have close to 1500 HP, even a small block with the right stuff will beat this and you have suspension and brakes down as well, i cant justify spending all that money for stickers, the australian HSV Camaro only has 330KW Stock, which for the 2018 release and already people are selling their Holden VF HSV' s to buy one, i will end up seeing so many camaros on the roads its not funny and those people with the extra CASH will take it tuning shops and the first thing will be a supercharger and other extras /

The stock tires are better than those Nittos. They hook up bet on the road and well prepped tracks. No one that really knows drag racing, uses Nitto.
Those quick shifts sound stock. I drove a 2014 BMW X3 with a turbo cyl and 8 speed auto and it had very quick shifts.
Very disappointed that you didn't educate yourself enough about the world class engine modifications and technology that Hennessey engineers used in the Exorcist. In order to go from an already potent 650 HP to an astonishing 1000 HP, isn't an easy or simple upgrade. So I think you missed an awesome opportunity to explain how truly difficult that is to achieve in a reliable turnkey performance package. As a true car guy, HIGHLY TECHNICAL & DETAILED SPECIFICATIONS equal car porn for most gear heads. Being able to absorb and then articulate that detailed information to the viewer, is a very rare but valuable skill that most of the content creators on TH-cam lack. The deeper that you get into the weeds about the technology applied to such an already impressive stock vehicle, the more enjoyable the video is to someone like me. In the future, I would encourage you to delve a little deeper into the HOW's an the WHY's to allow your viewers a greater appreciation for how difficult it is to even build vehicles like this in the first place. (including all the hurdles that needed to be overcome) Just my .02

Unlike the demon this is still a stock car, just with a ridiculous supercharger, plus a demon is just a hellcat just upgraded
The Hennessey demon will have 1500hp and it's more comfortable to drive with the srt adaptable suspension. It drives smoother than The hellcat, there on older Mercedes chassis.
$10k more to tune for the auto?? Wow no, though it looks like a lot of fun to drive. I’m curious why they chose a Procharger over a PD supercharger.

I see already for sale. Was there an issue or just not a practical car for a daily driver. Saw on eBay for 99k. Seems like a great buy. I’m thinking about but seemed quick turn around on owning.
Try a tuned BMW S1000RR making 225HP in a 370lb bike. It's a whole new level of go. Get even stupider with the Kawasaki H2R super charged with 320HP. Both of these bikes require expert level skill. BUT...thats a badass car.
