They have to add guns at some point. Most of the community are askimg them. Not having them devolved the gameplay. That shotgun in dl2 was utter garbage and ridiculous expensive to make ammo for. Add weapons but make sure you can carry more ammo this time...
I want this game to be fun. All I'm looking for from this is for the gameplay to be FUN. I don't think it will receive crazy reviews since its nothing new or revolutionary but just hope it's solid. If so. You can have my cash for sure

Delayed multiple times and switched devs a bunch of times. All of a sudden it's releasing within half a year with absolutely no marketing or anything. They know it's gonna be bad so they aren't even paying to market it

I'l be getting the Gold Edition (Like I did with Dying Light 2 and Red Dead 2.) Note that i'll only be getting this on steam, i'm not touching epic games with a barge pole.
Hope the game turns out to be as good as its promised to be, if it does turn out to be as promised which I'm not 100% confident on I'll have to wait until next year when it comes to Steam.

I don't think that the story is going to be unfinished. The game is in a complete state at this point since it has gone gold. The expansion pass just promises 2 extra DLC which is very common nowadays. Also there are only 3 weapon packs that will probably be more for looks than usefulness at later stages of the game. I kinda like the card system as it is different and the skill cards can be swapped at any point including in the middle of jumping.

@@danielandersson5345 I'm so sorry I meant to delete this because I made this comment in a stupid way, basically i was complaining about how I thought that the weapon pack that comes with the collectors edition was collectors edition only (I dont remember the name), and that I for some reason might want to get that maybe (idk???) Even though ive never once bought a collectors edition of a game before and definitely wouldn't start with dead island 2 lol, but I'm pretty sure I remember that a day or two after i made this comment I checked it on the Xbox store and that weapons pack thing was actually included with the ultimate edition so basically I was complaining about nothing because I guess I was tired and/or mad at something else so I wanted to complain about nothing I guess lol? It is not available on steam. It is an Epic games exclusive on PC. At least at launch, it may go to steam after a year or so though.

The red edition is better because you get a sledgehammer that glows in the dark just 5 $ more from 70 so uk we never had that type from DL1
