My very first vehicle i got as a kid was an 86 chevy. This friend of mine made me a cd of all her favorite songs so I could "rock" out in my fresh new truck. I remember loving this song. Played it over and over. As time went by i forgot about this song and for years I couldn't remember who was the artist or the name of the song. I totally agree, gives me goose bumbs and brings back old memories!
Nu Metal is one of the most brilliant ways to express the inner pain of the soul, the up and downs of life. The human being trying to break chains of depression. ❤
I just found this song and I can't get enough of it!! I love it for a billion different reasons and I'm 61 years old. Not too old to rock my ass off!! ❤
For me it’s the never ending war with the angry me. I can keep it locked up fairly well but every now and then I feel it creep back in before i banish it again. It’s always there in the background I just choose not to listen to it. As I’ve aged it’s lost it’s power quite a bit but it’s still in there
I remember so well when Marc Chavez said “Giving In” is about personal demons like alcohol and drug abuse. Few years later I became addicted to prescription pain medicine. This song and my own personal experience is the reason why I became a Substance Abuse Counselor. I love Adema for life♥️
I forgot about this song until tonight. I can't tell you how many times I listened to this song throughout my drug addiction. I'm almost 17 months clean and listening to this now gives me chills but it has a lot of good meaning for me in good ways. Much love to Adema. I really dig this song and listening to it sober still gives me goosebumps but in good ways. Anyone struggling out there we do recover. Believe in yourself and keep fighting. Never give up.
Just seen this band at Lashbaugh's West in Frostburg, MD last night. They still rock out like time stood still. Great band that truly appreciates the fans. Get out there and see them if you have not!
Jonathan Davis was right. There hasn't been anything unique and different like this, and this is why I always go back to these albums. They were so unique back then. Even though there are some good bands out there today, nothing is even remotely close to being a new sound like this music.
@@danielditty2959 kindnof funny that no matter how many differences ir similarities we all have one of the single biggest unifying things is our mutual dislike of painful things, but you know you too either have or will understand why such things happened and as painful as things can be you should never lose sight of the happy balance and strive for it no matter what stage you find yourself in. Even if you're at the bottom of the ladder. Climbing will indeed cause you different kinds of pain but this is the difference between falling off the ladder or climbing it, by climbing you are focused on a goal to rid yourself of the things that caused you pain before and getting rid of them will also cause pain but you'll be one step closer to the end of it. Some lash out at God for letting life be like this but you will also find that life is filled with suffering for a purpose and that is to indicate the need for him. Some pain will never stop until the end but when you are at peace with that fact you will be able to find joy within the suffering itself. Closer than our closest friend but the most hated one at the same time, this is the human experience. After this we will never be human again so find peace early on and you'll endure all the suffering in the world to the end, salvation is given freely and must also be accepted freely, the easiest thing but also made impossibly hard and the only one standing in our way is ourselves so it is necessary to sacrifice all of the parts of you that are in the way of that goal. Fk Dude, hoobastank, Adema, system of a down, tool, rage against the machine, Better than Ezra, blink 182, Taproot, primer 55, Toadies, static X.... fk I could go on(RIP to all we have lost)They are all still in my playlists. Dude the 90s and early 2000s will never be out done!! The music was so much more, You felt it through lyrics and instrument. Just one song could be the difference between life and death when we were young. My opinion, MOST of Todays Music is dead compared to the grundge bands and early alternarive rock and metal, Damn we called mudvayne, slipknot etc...Just Metal not heavy lol the days of being young!!! Nostalgic feelings everytime I hear it, Makes me wana cry. Some of the best times and memories were had to some of these songs.
This song is timeless. I was like 13 when I played MK Deadly Alliance and found Immortal and they became my favorite band after that. Its 2023 now and boy do these songs still hold up.
Just met these guys in person! They randomly walked into the resturaunt that I work in. Totally awesome and humble group of guys! I totally fan-girled! This album got me through some very dark times!
Mark Chavez is back in the band! Apparently an album is supposed to come out by the end of the year. But its glad to see the original crew back at it. He sounds better than ever if you check out their 1st live show back together. Really happy with this, nostalgia trip also :)
Man for SURE. And I dont even think it was because he was related to Jonathon Davis from Korn(I think that came out after they kind of got big). Im pretty sure I was in 8th grade when this came out. Whew...

Since it was made all the way through, never forget even at 80 imma be educating the neighbors!!
Cheers! 🍻
This was just an excellent era of music.
Getting ready for Milton in Florida.
This felt appropriate 😁
👺😻💙💙💙
Such a fucking masterpiece when I was 15. 31 now and it still resonates with me🖤.
The beginning of the song bringing a nostalgia of my younger years.
One of the best opening riffs of a rock song. Ever and for damn sure the 90s early 2000s
Masterpiece
one of the best rock song ever heard
2022 Still jamming this song!
It's actually on my "Down and Dirty" playlists something about his voice just gets me there.
What’s the playlist on!
grow the fuck up gen z
I listen to it everyday at work
Holy shitbucket, I remember this in high school, the last few years of good rock like these guys, 12 stones, seether. Shit I'm old.
Just saw Adema - again - in Houston. They are still killing it. Now my 10 year old daughter is into them!
Here since it came out. 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I sang this song till exhaustion in my teens. It is very powerful
This song is timeless. I was like 13 when I played MK Deadly Alliance and found Immortal and they became my favorite band after that. Its 2023 now and boy do these songs still hold up.
That was one of the best things about that game. Still a fun game, but coolest intro song.
Adema was always under rated
Just met these guys in person! They randomly walked into the resturaunt that I work in. Totally awesome and humble group of guys! I totally fan-girled! This album got me through some very dark times!
Here in 24. Here since the beginning. One of my top 10 fav bands. This hit harder when i got older... hits different ❤
Let’s see, 19years ago.. 31 on Monday, I was 12-13 when it came out... just rediscovered today.!.! 2k19- the good ol days are gone

Ditto hun... sadly ditto
I was turning 15 I'm 33 such a great song good memories from highschool
35 in July ugh!
Tell me about it. I'm 33 now lol.
The “ take me under” at 2:57 and the “watch me crumble” at 3:10 hit so hard
Still a great song
This song never gets old. Fucking love it.
Mark Chavez is back in the band! Apparently an album is supposed to come out by the end of the year. But its glad to see the original crew back at it. He sounds better than ever if you check out their 1st live show back together. Really happy with this, nostalgia trip also :)
This is so good. My first time hearing this.
Thank you TH-cam for reminding me this masterpiece
I remember how this song blew up back in the day....god I'm old
Man for SURE. And I dont even think it was because he was related to Jonathon Davis from Korn(I think that came out after they kind of got big). Im pretty sure I was in 8th grade when this came out. Whew...
