My dad took his own life when I was 14 and this song got me threw so many lonely dark nights!!! Thanks chevelle for getting me threw so many sad nights!! People don’t understand how music can get you threw so many horrible feelings!!!😢
Facts. Facts. I was 19 great job. Fixing to get a .50 cent raise on Monday. A week before I bought my first new vehicle on my own. Things were going pretty great. Saturday day about 3am changed my life for ever. Fell asleep exactly 2.2 miles from home. Wreaked and flipped violently. Thrown out and shattered 3 vertebras in my back. Now 50, every night I wake up in pain and all day long I'm in pain. It's like a prison that I'll never get out of. I was so bitter and very angry at God. Asking what did I do for this to happen.? I carried that for almost 15 yrs until I got help for my addiction and mental health. A very special Lady helped me see the truth and take accountability for what happened and how my anger shouldn't be towards him, but rather on the situation and be thankful that you are alive. My music has always had a place where it fits into my mind set. I'm very sorry about your father. ❤
That phrase “Send The Pain Below” reminds me of my mom. She suffers from severe arthritis in multiple parts of her body. Among other health issues. I hate seeing her suffer. I wake up every day and it’s the same shit. Her in pain and me being pissed off at literally everything and everyone. Knowing that there’s nothing they can do for her to heal her. The anger and frustration literally feels like suffocating. Idk but I really relate to the title of the song. Send The Pain Below. Because that’s how I wish I could do for my mom. Send her pain away to the deepest parts of hell so she can live a better life.
I’m 60 years old and just recently found this band. Love driving with these guys turned up loud. Very loud. Yep, this old dude likes it loud. The lyrics and the music are timeless.
I think of this song every time I'm about to have an anxiety attack. It helps me gather my thoughts and focus again. I love Chevelle. Their music has helped me through so much.
I’m 22, kinda crazy this is already this old, I remember hearing this whole album over and over again as a kid when it came out because of my dads exquisite music taste
@FirebrandCentral1 I'm an early millennial and am already trying to pass off good music to my Gen Alpha kids. The good music will continue to be a thing... hopefully 😊
Everyone: Let's talk about the artistry of this song for a second. This song is about seeming okay and calm on the outside, but dying and "suffocating" on your own pain that you don't show to anyone. Okay, at first listen, you think "wow, this is a really relaxing song." but when you listen to the lyrics... it tells a story of pain that is sent below... the song as a whole completely demonstrates what is happening in the lyrics. Chevelle is my favorite band, and has been for about 2 years now, because of this. They are true masters of art.
Nobody could ever understand what it is like to have no fam or anyone unless you have lived it. Just try to push through holidays. Peace and Love from TX.
Everything happens for a reason pretty sure he/she in a much more better place now,.be strong and move on with ur life,. I'm sure he or she wouldn't like to see you sad,.I know it's hard because I've been there before and losing someone closer to you is a feeling that cannot be describe with word and it's very painful,.be strong
There's something special about this song. Somehow this helps with my anxiety. The lyrics and melody "Much like suffocating, send the pain below" somehow ease it.
I've been listening to CheVelle for years... I thought they'd blow up - it's not the band... it's the music industry. This is pure talent. The VOCALS are absolutely AMAZING!!!
Chevelle always brings their A game to the stage. Do not miss seeing them. You will love the experience. They know how to make you feel melted with them. Great talent.
Wow no wonder I loved Chevelle so much back in the day. They're really effing good. I kept my childhood PTSD below and never would I talk about it. That killed my soul. My ego had complete control of my real self. It took two decades before I could dig my way through my insanely thick skin and hyper-reactive defense mechanisms. It feels so good to have the ability to even talk about my pain and my insecurities. You have to be able to be secure having insecurities. You have to be able to talk with other people about your insecurities with masculinity and femininity, your gender inadequacies, anxieties, phobias, PTSD, and other defense mechanisms that live in your ego. You have to face them and own them and start caring for them. You have to be self-aware. And only then can you be self-conscientious.
Chevelle you have every right to know that you have brought me off of meth heroin liquor and everything I am 10 years claim because of you God bless you keep doing what you're doing

Congratulations on your sobriety to both of you! I just celebrated 60 days of sobriety from heroin and meth myself as well. Nice to see there's community everywhere I go 😊
I’m sorry, I’m not sure if you are serious, about suffocating still after 11yrs., so sorry to hear about that but my first reaction when reading it I LMAO, for one my brothers name is Christopher Davis. So when I read it…. Lol thank you
I just love the sound of distorted mesa boogie amps. That is the sound of Nu Metal and I am born in 1983 so this is the music of my teens and college years. The best bands of this era are truly great. Heavy guitars with solid grooves.
such a banger, very deftones like with the instrumentals and flows so well, a great mix and the vocals are low key beautiful and that’s why these guys had so much radio play
Almost 10 years ago, I was laid up after basically doing on the ski slope the type of wipeouts depicted here. Bad. My arm had to be put back together with a titanium plate, almost severed the nerves. I posted a comment on this video about how I'd be "Sending the Pain Below" in my healing and rehabilitation, and to my surprise, like 20 random people replied with well wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery. I just want to say to those random people out there, thank you. it actually meant so much to see those random comments, and I'm happy to say I'm recovered with some pretty cool surgical scars and an arm that works just fine.
I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith. So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana". I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.
@@804riley-cp6hs If God is real, it's not a cult anymore than it's a cult for you to love and obey your parents. A while after that visitation, I was watching a preacher on TH-cam. I felt this compassion come over me by the Holy Spirit. So I prayed for him. "Father, I pray you double this man's ministry, his finances, and his marital life, in Jesus holy name, I demand and I decree. Amen." The next day he released a new video. He was standing on stage for a bit, smiling. Then he said "The Lord has just doubled his ministry. He's doubled his finances and He's doubled his marital life... My heart started pounding from shock, because he was saying my exact prayer from the night before. I wasn't even thinking about how I had prayed when he said it. Then later that week another prayer just as impossible was answered. I've had trials and tribulations, and ups and downs, but it still happens, over 6 years later.
One of my favorites done by them. The instrumental never gets old. Still remember the first time I heard this song on Rock Countdown hosted by Jesse. I was like wait hold up.. a guitar can make that type of sound? PSHHHHHHH. The beginning of Rock and Alternative music all started here. Chevelle was a band that turned my head into this type of genre.
This sound has been delivered long before Chevelle... perhaps you're not very in touch with the different generations of rock. I've been listening to rock all my life and while Chevelle has their own distict style, I would not say that they are the "beginning of Rock and Alternative." Very far from it. I would say the start of rock was sometime in the 70's, although others would argue that it was actually Elvis! And alternative was definitely centered around the Seattle based bands like Alice in Chains, Nirvana or over seas and Oasis, Green Day among others.
stilettosandshades well since I was born in the 90s and didn't start listening to music like this til the early 2000s, mainly 2003, they were the beginning of rock for me since that's the year when I discovered this type of genre. I know rock music goes way back but from as far as I can remember 2003 is what started it all for me for this genre and that's when I started listening to it/Rock Countdown Hosted by Jesse every Saturday on MTV2.
stilettosandshades nirvana is a grunge band and alice in chains is the gap between grunge and alternative. Green day was punk rock and far from alternative lol

I've listened to this song 100 times I just saw the video and was surprised at the snowboarding. It sounds like addict/recovery music. Which should be a genre of music. Great song
I was blasting this the other day in the kitchen and my 17 yr old daughter came in and was singing it word for word. I almost fell out and cried tears of joy. She may not remember, or perhaps she does (🤩) but she was listening to this in the womb. I will be 903 listening to Chevelle.
Along with Deftones, these guys are the only music I've consistently listened to from high school to college and now. Annnnd they're fucking amazing live.
This song along with many other helped me so much after my suicide attempt 15yrs ago!! To anyone looking for some helpful words, just know life does get better, I promise & just turn the music up louder!
Came back to this song 20 years later and never saw this video. I have SPECTACULARLY failed at many things in my life. But each time, I picked my ass up to go at it again…..better. love it even more.
The internet killed the music industry, mainly downloading. The 2000s was the last hurrah for great music of all genres before the artists gave up. The 2000s with Limewire, KaZaa etc played a major role.
This song hits me deep, I feel like the lyrics tell my story man. Let me explain: have you ever been in love with someone who keeps turning you away and misusing you? I liked the idea of the hurt at a point, I fed on it, tried to use it to make me stronger. I eventually learnt to start swallowing the pain, storing it even before I had been hurt. Eventually you store so much pain you start to feel like you're suffocating. Thank God I got out of that relationship, but yeah it hits me deep. It kinda puts words to something that happened to me that I couldn't have vocalized before. Epic song.
Matthew Daniel no, I used to live in Colorado and ride (snowboard) every single day until I was badly injured. I moved back with my parents and have a pile of debt from the 2 serguries I needed. It's two years later, and I'm almost healed. So what I loved most was taken from me, I am in debt, and have been in athletic jail for the past 2 years trying to get back to full recovery. Not to mention I had to move back in with my family because I had to have help w staying alive(eating, shelter) because I literally could not walk or stand to take care of myself Grab your fucking nuts and move on. Life's a cold hearted bitch, get used to it. Wait til life really fucks you up. I'd off yourself now if you think this is tough. Soft ass kid
Hey Matt, I want to thank you for breaking down the lyrics by sharing how you relate go them. And thank God for you getting out of that relationship. Some people put others down for going through tough times that might not seem tough to others but that doesn't make them less tough. Godspeed my friend🤜🤛💯
larry hoover it sounds like you blame life for what happened to you even though you knew the risk. Not saying I don’t have sympathy for you but what you described sounds completely different from what OP described. Kinda sounds like you need to take responsibility and move on to be honest.
I'm black. And I feel free when I listen to such great music. I feel bad for all the closed mindeds out there poisoning themselves with twerk beats when there's poetry and talent out there like this. Rock the fuck on.
It’s cos you just GET it. I feel ya. You are one of us, regardless of race. The Ancient Greeks used to just aks ONE question about a man who recently passed away - “Did he have passion?”

in 2003, my husband took me to see them in concert,a 4 hour drive, and all the way back home we drove our fellow road warriors crazy by making parodies with other lyrics, ie. the steak is marinating, coffee's percolating. as i just listened to it, i sang one line of it and it was like no time had passed. we love you chevelle!
@@Sleepydill yeah my daughter brags to all her friends that it was her first concert and it makes me smile I was able to give her that memory she will remember for the rest of her life bc Korn is the best band I've seen. Someone tried telling me that today. That I was getting drafted. I thought someone made up a rumor about me. No, he randomly felt the need to say I was getting drafted out of no where. I said shut up im too old for that. He asked me how old I was. Behold, were around the same age.
I was born in 2005 but my dad had always put me around this era/earlier eras of music. I’m extremely thankful for that in many ways. This song among others by Chevelle has played its part in multiple inner conflicts I’ve had to go through and will always be a song on my playlist.
Chevelle aware they are underrated and quite unappreciated... You know what they did? They just send the pain below! Mabuhay Chevelle! Love from the Philippines

I used to listen to this song when I was unbelievably hurt and angry. It kept me there and gave me a false sense of strength, to feel how hateful I could feel towards a man who deeply hurt me. I think it resonated with me because of how much hurt I had suppressed (or sent below). It’s been nearly 8-10 years since I felt those feelings but this song brings it back, and reminds me of how much I’ve grown, how much I have healed and how I’ll never suppress my love with hatred or hurt. Revenge is living your life well & happy, not needing to be validated or “chosen” by another person. Living your life by your own terms and happiness. Forgiving for yourself and let go of holding poison given to you by another.
Amen, sister, preach it! 😁🤙 some people’s brains just aren’t wired to understand things in that way, because they view it as some kind of masochism or keeping that moment alive; but when it’s something that acts as a picture than CAN speak 1000 words and further temper that cool steel by reminding you of every minute aspect of that situation, regardless of its complexity, within just a few short minutes of jamming out to an undeniable ~B A N G E R~ of a track? hardly something that can be replicated or have a price out to it 👌😁 much love and respect to you all from the Misty Mountains of North Carolina 🙏💜👽 stay safe and warm!
All true, but I still couldn't believe how much joy I felt when I ran across his obituary. Died in his 50s while I'm just now getting some gray hair. I hope it was long and painful
Send the pain below. He's talking about someone that hurt him (emotional pain) so sending the pain below is physical pain, basically self harm or he'd rather have her hurt him physically than emotionally. Thank you English teacher for introducing a new band to me XD
+Marieme Mbaye Most beautiful thing about music is that it will mean different things to different people. Too me - having suffered from depression and dealing with deaths in the family - sending the pain below is growing. :) Check out The Pot by Tool. One of my favorites. :D enjoy that polyrythm. ^-^
+mason hulce i bet i feel exactly like you do, It hurts to be so mad at people that have hurt you then yet feel bad about hating them. It's like they get to treat you like that and make you feel hateful and sad at the same time while they walk away happy.
To me, because im someone who holds in a lot of things, sending the pain below means to bottle it all up. Its suffocating because it weighs you down but its the only way you know how to cope with the hurt.
When this song first came out I sang it to quell my teenage angst, now in my 30s I sing this song to ease all the pain that comes with my failing health. Incredible how a lifetime can both seem like yesterday and an eternity simultaneously.

As a former skiier and extreme sports athlete that has gone through some SHIT in my life. I constantly find myself coming back to this song and having a little cry. Its healthy though. From hearing/seeing this as a late teen to now coming back to it as an adult. I can say it's gotten me through some bad times. Being able to associate it with resort life hits so much harder.
I met you guys some years ago (think it was 2011) in South Bend and after the concert and we talked about your music, how awesome you three are and how my son loved you all as much as I do. You signed our concert posters and wrote him a note and we still have it framed on our wall. You guys are awesome and still one of my favorite bands. You guys were humble and funny and I’ll never forget meeting you!
That is the coolest thing to hear about a band you ❤ so much. Thankx for posting gratitude for humbleness. Also, I grew up in Bend 1980 thru 1994. I'm envious of you and son, Omg! I hope you and your boy look at that poster and hear a Chevelle song and cherish that moment of Life 4ever! ❤

Chevelle is the best! But you need to go listen to Whispering Wolf by SLT right now 🐺!!! You’re missing out 🤘🔥!!!
A band is truly great if they've mastered how to effectively use the 'quiet parts' in their songs, . This band does that.
It’s an incredible hard rock song. Hits all cylinders for me
I’m 60 years old and just recently found this band. Love driving with these guys turned up loud. Very loud. Yep, this old dude likes it loud. The lyrics and the music are timeless.
Never too old to rock
I hope you listen to the whole album because the opening track is killer. I'm in my 50s but been a fan for a while.
Keep on doing what ur doing bro. Love ya
Me too 👍💯🎶
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🐺🤘
I think of this song every time I'm about to have an anxiety attack. It helps me gather my thoughts and focus again. I love Chevelle. Their music has helped me through so much.
Its powerful without a doubt
Same here man.

My anxiety, being an addict... fighting to live. The pain is raw and I'm so thankful for this song because its truly like I'm buried sometimes.
stay in your coffin. or free yourself. does it matter either way?
Always remember too be strong .
You know what to do. Fight the good fight. And do it well.
Keep digging... If you don't know which way is up, then it doesn't even matter. Just don't give up!
I'm an addict as well. Happiness for us is out there. We WILL find it one day. I send positive energy to you friend
I’m 22, kinda crazy this is already this old, I remember hearing this whole album over and over again as a kid when it came out because of my dads exquisite music taste
just make sure you pass it down to your kids.
Im 20 now brotha, this was my mothers music when she was my age. So i feel you hearing those songs from that era and realizing its gone forever.
Imagine being 42. Lol
Your dad's a Gen-Xer. If course we know good music. 😉
They are true masters of art.
yours awesome chick
+Cassidy LovesLife I thought it was about the air pressure from snowboarding on a really tall mountain
damn chuck, you want some water you thirsty ass XD
+Scott Green Haha. That comment really made my day. 😄😂
+Cassidy LovesLife this song is about body pain as shown in the video thx...............................
The guitar and bass riffs are absolutely incredible in this one, as with most Chevelle jams. Drop D tuning?
no one will give you answer
It's Drop B tuning
When I'm feeling low because I'm a loner and I have no family sometimes I think of this song. It's okay I'm strong. There's a reason for everything
That's right man all we can do is move forward the song is great
It's fine. I'm your friend from now on.
Nobody could ever understand what it is like to have no fam or anyone unless you have lived it. Just try to push through holidays. Peace and Love from TX.
You're your best friend.if you dont realize that you'll never get far...
Loner is the way
This song is everything to me after the loss of my child..I listen to it on repeat!
Bless you Jennifer
sorry for ur loss......
I pray you have comfort in the following years...keep your head up
Everything happens for a reason pretty sure he/she in a much more better place now,.be strong and move on with ur life,. I'm sure he or she wouldn't like to see you sad,.I know it's hard because I've been there before and losing someone closer to you is a feeling that cannot be describe with word and it's very painful,.be strong
My condolences
This song was something I used to listen to everyday through high school. It's great to hear it once again.

Just turned 36, Chevelle will always be in my playlist!!! 🙌
I'll be 37 in November 21. Miss these days
i'm 65 and its still Bad Ass !!!!
There's something special about this song. Somehow this helps with my anxiety. The lyrics and melody "Much like suffocating, send the pain below" somehow ease it.
I feel ya. Yeah I think of that whenever I hear this song too. 😫
I've been listening to CheVelle for years... I thought they'd blow up - it's not the band... it's the music industry. This is pure talent. The VOCALS are absolutely AMAZING!!!

I just love the sound of distorted mesa boogie amps. That is the sound of Nu Metal and I am born in 1983 so this is the music of my teens and college years. The best bands of this era are truly great. Heavy guitars with solid grooves.

I was born in 1970 and I agree with you
such a banger, very deftones like with the instrumentals and flows so well, a great mix and the vocals are low key beautiful and that’s why these guys had so much radio play
John you truly get it. I set the same thing to my brother last year and he looked at me like I was crazy. 🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️💪❤️
Guitar riff similar to deftones song
Always 😀🤘 you can never go wrong with some Chevell to start the day 💯💯🔥🔥 your boy MERK € 🐐
That's sick dude!
Compassionate people with great taste. I'm so happy for your recovery. Own your scars, God know you earned them.
Best wishes, stranger.
This song always touched that one part of your soul that no one ever could.

This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🐺🤘
Same, this song is the epítome of what my rock bottom was , but we keep on fighting ✊
Y'all realize it's actually about trying to ignore pain, both physical and mental/emotional, to move on and be successful?
I think people get it. I just think the music video could have been portrayed better on the meaning of the song.
TheLifeOfH not really. It's actually about embracing it .. Send the pain below. I.e. swallow it whole.
Radical notion, I know.
I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
Cult anyone?
@@804riley-cp6hs If God is real, it's not a cult anymore than it's a cult for you to love and obey your parents.
A while after that visitation, I was watching a preacher on TH-cam. I felt this compassion come over me by the Holy Spirit. So I prayed for him. "Father, I pray you double this man's ministry, his finances, and his marital life, in Jesus holy name, I demand and I decree. Amen."
The next day he released a new video.
***** THAT INSTRUMENTAL IS SIIIIIIIICK!!!
stilettosandshades well since I was born in the 90s and didn't start listening to music like this til the early 2000s, mainly 2003, they were the beginning of rock for me since that's the year when I discovered this type of genre. I know rock music goes way back but from as far as I can remember 2003 is what started it all for me for this genre and that's when I started listening to it/Rock Countdown Hosted by Jesse every Saturday on MTV2.
ChattGM Well, lucky you to be born in the 90's :) I was born in 80 and the start of Alternative music for me was Alice in Chains and Nirvana.
stilettosandshades nirvana is a grunge band and alice in chains is the gap between grunge and alternative. Green day was punk rock and far from alternative lol

LYRICS:
[Verse 1]
I liked having hurt
So send the pain below, where I need it
You used to beg me to take care of things
And smile at the thought of me failing
But long before having hurt
I'd send the pain below
I'd send the pain below
[Chorus]
Much like suffocating
Much like suffocating
Much like suffocating
(I'd send the pain below)
Much like suffocating
(I'd send the pain below)
[Verse 2]
You used to run me away
All while laughing
Then cry about that fact
'Til I returned
But long before having hurt
I'd send the pain below
I'd send the pain below
[Chorus]
Much like suffocating
Much like suffocating
Much like suffocating
(I'd send the pain below)
Much like suffocating
(I'd send the pain below)
Much like suffocating
[Bridge]
I can't feel my chest
Need more
Drop down
Closing in
I can't feel my chest
Drop down
[Chorus]
I liked having hurt
So send the pain below
So send the pain below
(Much like suffocating)
I liked
So send the pain below
(Much like suffocating)
Having hurt
So send the pain below
(Much like suffocating)
So send the pain below
(Much like suffocating)
So send the pain below
Nice

I've listened to this song 100 times I just saw the video and was surprised at the snowboarding. It sounds like addict/recovery music. Which should be a genre of music. Great song
I was blasting this the other day in the kitchen and my 17 yr old daughter came in and was singing it word for word. I almost fell out and cried tears of joy. She may not remember, or perhaps she does (🤩) but she was listening to this in the womb. I will be 903 listening to Chevelle.

Not to mention I had to move back in with my family because I had to have help w staying alive(eating, shelter) because I literally could not walk or stand to take care of myself
Grab your fucking nuts and move on.
Good story I can relate
Very well said!
larry hoover it sounds like you blame life for what happened to you even though you knew the risk. Not saying I don’t have sympathy for you but what you described sounds completely different from what OP described. Kinda sounds like you need to take responsibility and move on to be honest.

Forgiving for yourself and let go of holding poison given to you by another.
that's right
Beautifully put, coming from a relationship where I was lied to and gaslight I totally agree on your conclusions
I can do better them him baby.
Check out The Pot by Tool.
From now on, thanks to your comment, I will think "Send the Pain Below" means kick me in the nuts.
+Marieme Mbaye To me, sending it below means suffocating, by not letting it hurt (but it hurts more trying so)
To me, because im someone who holds in a lot of things, sending the pain below means to bottle it all up.

I love how the video cuts to somone failing while snowboarding that’s such a hard sport so is skiing yanno what else is hard doing what these guys did right here they never gave up and look at how big this song and the red is and many other wow congratulations guys hope your all doing well now that you’ve made it
Hope I get there one day 😂
Started my day to this on radio, finished the day by hearing it again here.... the universe has a special way of fkin with yah.
This song speaks to me on such an emotional level. Makes me tear up everytime
Yeah Bro, me too. My girlfriend also left me in the seventh grade, and I also still haven't gotten over it even though I'm 31.
Me too.
When music had a meaning in life
And real emotions
There's still music with meaning a lil harder to come by but it's out there. Are you open to various genre's of art?
Still does, if you truly care enough for it that is
it's still there
When music was real.
Get alot of deftones vibes through the riffs on this song. Definitely a incredible generation of rock that I'm so happy to be apart of.

a must listen ! ! ! :)
be quiet and drive far
Same but I was thinking more of Minerva.
Wake the fuck up. Deftones is good but they don’t define an era
Agree sounds a lot like chino :)
AWESOME!!
@@nicoleschindler3072sorry for the late reply! They are so amazing! I would LOVE to see them again but I'm real limited on money so I can only see a concert or two a year which sucks. You're lucky you got out of here lol it's the wild West anymore
I can’t believe this song came out so many years ago! I recently rediscovered it and love it!
Heard this song for the first time on headbangers ball when I was 15. Here I am 14 years later and still loving it.
"Send the Pain Below" was the best emotional song in 2002 !
🎸🎤🎧
This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave Acoustic” by SLT 🤘🔥🐺
🎉love this 1 classic chevelles sound the lyrics r intense and have real meaning love this era of music when sound and lyrics were real
Reading the words "classic Chevelle" in a sentence really made me feel old.
@@crunchytowel8812 - Welcome to reality: This was 22 fuckin years ago, bro: If we were teenagers or older then we're definitely fuckin old now and time flies. My back hurts...

To my friend Trace who took his own life 9/01/19. This one is for you, I send this pain below and remember the life you lived as well as the newborn life that would've come after
As a Pennsylvanian, Chevelle one of our own. Allentown's finest. Shout out to A-town for producing a great band. This is a great song.
This is so good but you must hear “The Wave” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🤘🔥
610 in the house

12 years later and I still catch myself listening to this, shout out Chevelle from Houston Texas!!!2020
YASSS!!
HOUSTON GANG
This song is from like 2002 so like 18 years
🤙Dallas Tx 2020 still jamming
If there was a decent rock station in Houston it would be better. I also live here in Houston!
Reppin h town
Just saw them live. They sound the same live to this day. So good.
Rip Uncle Chip! Brought me up jamming out to Chevelle daily and now this is how I reminisce.
saw them live. They ended with the song it was AMAZING. The whole crowd sang along and it was the best feeling ever
Nice. What are your top 3 Chevelle songs? I'd say mine are: An evening with El Diablo, vitamin R, send the pain below.
Can you remember if they played an evening with El Diablo at the concert?
One of the best songs ever, never gets old especially when they break it down halfway thru makes you want to shred something and then they bring it back regular tempo and he shows off his vocal talent which separates them from the pack 😎
This is like if Three days grace, Deftones, Tool, Linkin Park, Soundgarden and Stone Temple got together and created a supergroup. Quickly becoming one of my favorite bands!
are you also an ARMY, Jk bias by chance? Because same lol and Chevelle totally ROCKS, love them
@@terrirocklover7957 Yes, yes I am. It seems like you are an ARMY as well. I've found my people! 👏🏼👏🏼💜💜💜
This is the dumbest thread I've ever seen. Congratulations.
They sound more like Simple Plan mixed with Deftones and Breaking Benjamin imo
@@mizerymonday1419 what a criminal and completely wrong way to describe tool lmao
Can't go wrong with chevelle. Thanks for ur music. Got me thru alit of bad nites . xo be safe always
Alot not alit
Chevelle is the band that keeps me coming back to rock. I listen to anything but this is along the best on my track list. 💪🏼
this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🎧🤘
Exactly, never let anything stop you from next level. It's not rocket science to realize that an underrated legendary band such as this' becomes Legendary.
I love that "the toolbox" is in this video. Pete talked about how he wanted to put his foot up one day while playing and just chose this toolbox to do it and it became so comfortable that he started to use it at all their shows.
You use to run 🏃♂️ me away all while laughing and cry 😢 bout the fact until my return
