  • Picking up from Tomahawk Hut where we left the last video, we head via Carter's Rd, Weston Track and King Basin Track to King Hut, before pushing on via Speculation Road, Circuit Road and the Clear Hills Track up to Craigs Hut.
    A great trip, there were certainly sections of Westons Track that were steep and rocky and traction felt less than certain and the exit north from King Hut didn't disappoint either.
    If you want to see the full length of Clear Hills track, check out my video from a bit over a year ago, Craigs Hut the Easy Way, linked below as it hasn't changed much;

    Nice one Jase. Damn the roads around King Hut are chopped up. Hopefully a fix in the off season. Thanks again, cheers, BobbyB.

    There was a road closed sign laying on the ground the start of Blacklanding Track , maybe somebody before you got there decided it wasn’t needed… Great trip though.

    King Basin rd to circuit rd would have been a better and quicker choice , Than Black landing track (back the way you came) but looks as if you had a great time through King Hut area

    Hi, is that your t shirt on Tyler Thompson this morning?

    Nice vid mate. Just wondering when this trip actually took place? I was up there a week ago and Black Landing Trk was as easy as it gets and fully graded. Could have done it in 2wd. In your vid it looks like it was graded but soft from the rain and also hadn’t set yet. Seeing that Road Closed sign down on the side makes me think old mate who’s tire marks were there before yours was the smarty pants who moved the sign out of the way! Anyway, enjoyed tracing over my steps from last week. Cheers.
