I get the science based teaching for the kids. Look into the science of Near Death Experiences to see some stuff that can't really be explained by measuring it.
The Carbon could be Tinted in lots of Lacquered Colors that makes it look Mirrored , if you’ve Seen herringbone Weaved Carbon it’s Beautiful especially with Lacquered colors Infused and OfCourse it’s strength , that’s a Nice Streamline Cat .
only half way through, but gotta say lithium batteries and new low amp air cons are no brainers.. Its all the go now in off road campers, exhibition vehicles too now.
The amount of adventures your children have, DO NOT apologize about sticking them in front of an iPad for a bit to get stuff done! I hate the guilt we have to feel for that! Do what you need to do! ♥️
Hey it's Jacinta here and I 💯 agree, and you're kids would be doing enough fun outdoor adventures that they deserve a bit of iPad time 😊 Our boys love fishing and driving their Tinnys around everyday but they always seem to want to play just a little bit of Xbox 😅 which gives me a chance to catch up on you guys and other boat family channels and Shorts ❤ as you know when you're on a moored boat power and water is sacred 😅❤❤ well another awesome ep sea fam 🐬💦🇦🇺🇦🇺💕 take care guys xo Jacinta
In 2002 my 7 year old son ordered his custom made computer, designed for games. Now he works in IT, and is still a gamer. At that age I had no idea what I wanted😅
I got a MASSIVE surprise when I woke up this morning! A new video! 😃😃 It's amazing that even without SLVII you've made so much content on other vessels, whilst waiting for your new home to be built. It's truly remarkable, and even though the work has been full on for you guys, I hope you know that as much as you've enjoyed these new experiences we've equally enjoyed watching you and coming along for the ride. Thank you 🥰
I just wanna say i look forward to these every week! the quality of these videos are unmatched! They’re so beautiful and entertaining! That’s all for now. Be safe out there guys
After a friend introduced me to your channel last year, I started from the beginning and have FINALLY caught up to real time. You guys are on such an incredible adventure and I hope your boys grow up to appreciate the incredible life you’re working so hard for. it’s so great to see you back sailing and seeing the sheer joy it brings you all.
Wouldn't you love to have documented the last 10yrs of your life?!? What these 2 have accomplished is amazing. I'm hoping they won't burn out and will take time to themselves once in a while.
Been following since day 1. I just have to say, this is better than any TV anywhere. Im living vicariously through your awesom adventurous lives. Omg the boys are so grown up. Great videography, great story tellling, top knotch parenting. You set the bar high guys. You set the bar high.
Riley's expression when he first saw the vessel was SHEER BLISS! You could tell how excited he was to climb aboard and start playing around. It certainly is a stunning boat and seems to have all the accomodations that are needed to have an incredible time. And Lenny and Darwin seemed to love it as well. Riley and Elayna you two seem most happy on the water you can see it in your smiles and excitement and happiness. Elayna don't feel bad about giving the boys time to watch cartoons. Being a parent is HARD WORK!! And you are doing such an Amazing job Elayna❤ Give yourself some grace, your boy's are happy and thriving! You both are amazing parents and are giving your son's an incredible upbringing and showing them so much of this world. Well done guys, can't wait to see next week's video and loved seeing your beautiful smiles and excitement being on the water. Blessings and Love to you All 🙏♥️🙏
What a fantastic series! And what a boat! Nailing the content Elayna & Riley. And with two toddlers under foot is no easy feat. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. 💪
Love the passion Riley still has for sailing after all this time. That smile as you hit 20 knots was priceless. Kids don't come with a user manual and most people don't live your life Elayna. Your opinions are the ones that count when it comes to your kids. If you are visiting Spirit Yachts workshop and need some things to do nearby I have lived in the town for most my life and have bought up 4 kids round here so am happy to give suggestions.
Never a down moment with you two while waiting for your new boat. You’ve created & had wonderful & exciting experiences during your wait. On an aside ..... Darwin has inherited Riley’s spectacular eyes. What a childhood those two precious little boys are living! Continue to: Stay Well & Be Safe
Thank you for sharing the beautiful boat tour. As a survivor of parenthood and a grandma of four I will give you some encouragement. Travel is easier as kids get older. I know it can be hard but think of all the fantastic life experiences you are giving Lenny and Darwin. You are wonderful parents!! Too the lady on your flight. Ma’am they make noise canceling headphones. Maybe invest in them rather than parenting others children, who are just exhausted. Hang in there you guys all the positive memories will be what your kids remember.🥰♥️
I used to live here in 1974-78. I was 20. Saw live concert of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. 200 people sitting on the grass across the street from the bay. Totally love that this boat has allowed you to spend more time with good sailors. I’d love to see you both go do the occasional regatta on a seriously good boat with some pro sailors. I think it would be amazing to watch but more importantly you’d lean heaps. The more blending with the racing world in design and with the sailors is a good thing.
What an awesome family. Curious kids with responsive parents make for a good life. So jealous of their upbringing! Please set your mind at ease. You are doing a wonderful job and the rest hardly matters.
Awesome, thank you for putting this out, your boys are getting such a good education already moving from place to place meeting a great variety of people.
I would love to know how you can manage with 2 small children on the yacht when you, the couple have to engage in mooring and other duties that need to be performed for the yacht
Boy... If Lenny hasn't grown into such a spitting image of Riley..... What a cutie pie!!!!! Thanks for another awesome video guys! What a gorgeous boat!!!!
Just want to mention over the 5 plus years of watching your channel it has amazed me how well Riley hands stress and really everything. All around great guy and great role model for our youth.
Awesome video guys. I've been watching yous for 6 years now and never missed a single vlog. Could definitely tell Riley wanted to keep talking at the end lol 😂 love it how he gets so excited when he talks and the passion just shows. Come back to New Zealand one day I'd love to meet yous all, my children sometimes watch with me. Safe travels guys 🇳🇿🇦🇺
Riley's general disposition to scientifically based education is absolute fire. I aspire to handle my (hopefully) future children as well as y'all do and can only hope that I have the opportunity to expose them to such absolute LIFE. Much love.
Yes as a commenter mentioned, Darwin does have pretty and unusual eyes. Thanks for the ride and tour you all and keep looking pretty Elena and Riley's aging pretty good. Love seeing you both happy 👏 I need you both to know how much you have helped me over the years. You have pulled me out of panic attacks and sat with me during dark moments and im so grateful. Please always put yourselfs first. You mean the absolute world to so many and we need you both to take care. Love you guys 🙏
I just love the giddiness Riley and Elayna get when they are doing what they absolutely love! Beautiful boat and another banger of a video. With nothing but love and respect from Kentucky ❤
So glad you got to see Funjin.... she is truely different and an absolute weapon... Love the bows but spray deflectors above the waterline would help keep her dryer and resist the bow dips.. Love the cork flooring light safe and renewable resource thats kind on the feet. Shes a tropics boat as a cruiser ...but could also evolve ..❤
You guys are so very lucky to be able to do this and on the other side the sellers are so lucky to have you endorse their boat. You guys do such an awesome job explaining everything.
One of my favorite vids from you guys in ages. This was so fun- enjoyed your true passion for the sport and interest to learn about and experience a new boat. Wish I could pop onto Fujin and start our sailing trip!
looks like this series has sparked new enthusiasm for you - cool to see you enjoying that! Music is a new vibe on this one, and works well - complements the feeling of and cosmology. ✨💫
Besides her outstanding performance, I really like that Fujin doesn't really LOOK like the rest of the cookie-cutter stuff out there. Wharram cats (especially the Pahi series) were specifically designed after early Polynesian boats, have pod-style accommodation, and are typically exceptionally fast and strong. Fujin really reminded me of the Wharram designs, but with a racing twist. It seems when you were doing around 15 knots or so, it was really stable and not too wet. But when you got closer to 20, she started bouncing a bit and the spray was heavier. What an amazing boat. Almost a shame you have a Rapido in the works, eh? Awesome episode!!
The "brown stuff" is Kevlar, The material is commonly called 2x2 twill carbon Kevlar, need to upskill on yer composites knowledge, since you're going to be sailing in a fabulous composite boat!! Carbon Kevlar is light , tough and stiff, carbon is light and stiff but brittle!! Love your videos, keep it up, I never miss one!
i love how your experience has gotten everyone these insights. it's awesome how much you guys have accomplished! well done! you deserve it! and we're greatful!
I think Riley might really be keen on this boat. 😀 He was actually giddy at times. Love it. Always enjoy your videos. You do such a great job putting it all together. ♥
What an adventure! It's so interesting to see these unique hull geometries at wo As for kids - before I them I used to get so annoyed at babies crying. However, now it triggers some primal instinct of caring in me. Instead of anger I just feel compassion and am drawn to help if I can.
Love your video format. Interaction with your kids is priceless, including the good and the challenging. Looking forward to seeing your new boat and the adventures your family will be having. You guys are the real deal,
Riley talks big. With regards to this matter, I'm not impressed with his behavior. I would accept his challenge. What's he going to do? Get escorted off the plane or attested? Please don't act so entitled that your children can disrupt the plane while you expect passengers to remain silent. 🤦♂️
Thank you so much for showing us this wonderful boat! I can’t imagine using this mainly for racing as the salon is perfect for a family. Im excited to see what you are going to show us next. I suspect Riley and Eleyna are in love with this boat.
I absolutely loved this boat and if I could afford it, it’s the only one I’ve ever seen that I would buy sight unseen. It’s just everything great packaged into one boat, so many different directions to go……These videos are awesome too!
I would probably prefer something from Rapido, Bañuls Design, Marsaudon Composites, Outremer or some such. But then again... I haven't sailed even one second... ;-) I think the design on this custom 53ft cat is a bit _too funky_ for my liking... But it's a cool boat that seems to sail very well in light wind conditions.
You guys are working hard and good on you for not complaining about the build delays. Hey, did you see our O45 Ho’okele while at Salt Ponds? Great marina. Been watching since you had 50k viewers. Fair winds.
I live in Chesapeake and work in Norfolk!! I hope you enjoyed your stay it’s definitely not the amazing ports you’re probably used to but I’m so glad you guys came through!
Riley you need trolling paddle flashers to catch more big fish at sea. Some are 8 inches to more than 12 inches. Using them on a charter boat we caught more than 10 steelhead in just a couple hours before storms rolled in. All the steelhead weighted between 8 and 11 lb.
Thanks super cool video again, just an idea I had watching you hoisting the spinnaker, why not run a competition with your viewers to design a unique spinnaker for vagabonde3? You pick the winner.
On the next video can you explore more about the tipping over part. eek. how does it happen? And if you were doing a crossing and it happened what would you do?
Wanted to say thank you so much for creating and uploading your videos! I enjoy them so much and truly appreciate the quality, organisation, creativeness and the honesty as well! You guys are my favorite!
I absolutely love your all videos, you guys have inspired me so much over the years to try new things and see the world. Hope all is well and be careful out on the open seas. Love you all ❤
i have such great nostalgia for the cartoons I watched as a kid. it feels comforting when I see them again and remember how secure I felt in that half hour or hour while watching my favorite shows. My adult children in their early 20's have also said this. Don't discount the great memories that come from that. Especially watching with a sibling. A bonding moment for sure.
I love your concept and content of your channel to keep us all interested while we wait patiently for your new boat …. Good job …much better than major network TV !!
Hello again, haven’t spoke in awhile the message for years been having some really bad days with my PTSD, are you your progress your channel out, cheer me up a little bit put things in the back of my mind so yeah keep up the great videos really appreciate it especially times like today. Have a good one wish I could be with you selling the blue
I enjoy watching u guys so much...I wouldn't worry to much mama, ur boys r having the time of their life's...❤..u guys keeping it real, is what keeps me coming back..im a mama of 4 boys..and they diffently keep us busy..u do want u gotta do and don't worry about others ..its ur life ❤..its what life is all about..making memories and enjoying it..❤..p.s ur boys r adorable 😊..
My Dad taught me how to sail a Dingy at Buckroe Beach. Great memories. Just found out last week that the US Navy has 2 or 3 trimarans and specifically wanted that design for stability and speed. It was absolutely amazing seeing it fly through the water and even in rough waters, no problem.
You two should show the boats that give the Ikea vibe look / feel that you were referring too! That would actually help people who are new to the whole boat scene and give them a good idea what to watch out for when boat shopping! Just a n opinion!
They are such happy kids, Good job guys. Really shows how good you are. And as a scientist (evolutionary virologist), thank you for your rant on astrology.

What an amazing sailboat. So much of it just makes sense. She will definitely turn heads sailing into port. Good luck with the sale
Loving the journey ❤…20 knots was exciting 😮
i have such great nostalgia for the cartoons I watched as a kid. it feels comforting when I see them again and remember how secure I felt in that half hour or hour while watching my favorite shows. My adult children in their early 20's have also said this. Don't discount the great memories that come from that. Especially watching with a sibling. A bonding moment for sure.
I love your concept and content of your channel to keep us all interested while we wait patiently for your new boat …. Good job …much better than major network TV !!

That is a really really cool cat. The performance is insane and the styling is very unique and gorgeous.
Riley and Darwin vlogging while lying on the deck. Priceless
As always, great video, family, boat, experience and unusually enough, great dog as well. Love to you all.
My weekly fix!! Oh man if you guys knew how happy i am to see your new video pop up in my feed!!!! Pumped!!!
Wow, this was an excellent mix of unedited and edited entertainment. Loved it! Oh, and that boat is "Massive"! haha
Are you saying that you're unable to recognize an "ikea vibe"?
Almost forgot! It’s titled “The Last Cape Hornets”. The rigging on the these huge ships is unbelievable!
Just love you guys you seem to be able to astound me with your ability to adapt to what ever is up next cheers
They are such happy kids, Good job guys. Really shows how good you are. And as a scientist (evolutionary virologist), thank you for your rant on astrology.
Wow ,that was incredible!! Thank you for the adventure SLV family!! ❤❤❤❤ Can't wait for the next one !
Sailing at 20 knots, pirates, space, what a mix this week. Enjoyed it. Thanks, guys. 🇳🇿🇳🇿🐑🐑NZ
