Y’all give me so much hope for life man. I’m in the military and getting out, there doesn’t seem to be a clear adventure or purpose out in the civilian world but SAILING is a big part of that and thanks for sharing all you guys do!
Did any one notice the anti Greenpeace, pro fossil fool, pro nuclear, trolls hitting the comments all about the same time. No coincidence, Woodside are in panic mode $$$$$$$😂😂😂
Hey Riley I worked 6 years in Offshore when I was a nipper. Lost more than 20 of my colleagues in just one accident, on a barge BOS355 piling offshore Zaire went through a 8” HP line. The gas got to the surface and the resulting explosion was devastating. I wasn’t there I helped the guys at the burn units but I saw pictures, the heat was so intense the anchor melted and welded to the deck! Nothing is foolproof I’d hate to see the damage that could be done to that beautiful region even without accidents. Thanks mate for you and your family. You guys rock.
SLV. I have folowed and loved your channel for many years without thinking anything bad about either of you or your kids. Your last episode with green piece opened my eyes to your hyproxity.. How many times have you gone to a beach and lit a large fire to cook food and look at a loaded fire of wood that eminates a large amount of heat, smoke and light to make you both feel good in your surroundings? Could you have cooked your food on a small fire to help save the environment? No hipocracy please. Maybe you will feel a backlash.
This was an incredibly good episode. It’s heartwarming to see people who live their lives on the shoulders of our natural world, step up to fight for it. Not all hikers, wilderness van lifers or back road world travelers, are courageous enough to tell the powerful forces who put fortunes over the future, “listen, we have to do better.” This one felt really good. ✌🏼
I cried when Riley dove down to the reef. What a beautiful site to see. Growing up in the Caribbean, it reminded me how it all used to look back in the day. It’s all dead now and it’s truly heartbreaking. Thank both for taking us on this journey with Greenpeace. Truly a fantastic video!
@@muravi8167when is the last time you've dove on any if the world's largest reef spots? Most of the renowned dive sites from 30 years ago are bleached out barren wastelands, including much of the GBR. Do you think people are making this stuff up? Like NASA faking tge moon landings and the earth secretly being flat? 😮
Lionfish are one of the causes in caribbean areas that have destroyed ecosystems. That's all it takes to knock out the balance. Look up lionfish, sharks and find depletion of life under & on land..
My apologies. You are both correct. It is not dead. But the amount of fish and coral that used to live and thrive in the Caribbean has drastically diminished and some even fully disappeared.
My dad was a scuba instructor in the 60's ,70's. And has five all over the world. I was able to accompany him many times. The reefs all used to be so colorful and alive! Thank you for making people that may not know aware Thank you Greenpeace!
Worked aboard this ship for more than 10 precious years before heading out and starting my own NGO, still working on the same cause in a smaller scale. But the crew members on board will forever be family...
I love those subtle interruptions, the planes flying over, the kids being rambunctious in the background, The fact that you leave it all in the final edit with such an artistic tasteful quality makes everything so much more real, and allows me to connect more with two friends I've never met before. I really appreciate what you guys are doing. you are, both of you beautiful people And I genuinely hope one day to meet you both even if it's just to say hi... Got me considering joining Greenpeace now all of a sudden just to get closer to that sunset hope you folks have a great day god bless you and less love from Kansas City USA... Happy 4th of July lol
On another note. One of the best parenting books that I read and one that made a major difference from the get go was STEP. Systematic Training for Effective Parenting. Not sure if it's even available these days. One of the best tips I learned and not only worked great for my children, but also my grandchildren is the phrase, "We don't......". Not, don't applying it directly to the child, such as don't hit your brother, don't touch this or that, don't whatever. It was "We don't touch things that don't belong to us", "We don't hit each other in this family", "We don't go outside without asking permission". Kids respond super well to house rules and it also doesn't target them on a personal level that they will often challenge. Hang in there, they do grow up and become much more reasonable. Children of course need parental guidance and sometimes discipline, what you feel appropriate with the children entrusted to you. Children actually thrive in an environment with set rules and set consequences. Think of how your favorite teachers had control over the classroom and was fair in how the rules were enforced. You learned best and enjoyed the environment they created in their classroom.
I applied this to dog training as my dog learned , “we don’t harass the wildlife “. As we often walked in natural areas he would ignore waterbirds rabbits etc. 🐕good dog.😊
I am a volonteer activist with GP in Germany for 12 years now and appreciate your attention and time you dedicated to our work worldwide. Its all about a liveable planet and peace, thanks for that :-)
Free diving the Great Barrier Reef for the first time this year, it was so wonderful to see the health and life in Scott’s reef. Thank you for sharing and tell us what we can do to stop drilling in this area. We have all the sun, water and wind (plus current oil field in use) we need for energy on this planet already. Thank you for bringing purpose, love of the sea and life in each of your videos.
Poo on the floor is standard when you have young kids. Having been a nanny for several years for multiple different families with young children I can tell you everything you are experiencing is totally normal! I hope to be as lucky as you and Riley someday and have a beautiful, lively family of my own one day. Cherish every moment even the hard ones ❤
Phenomenal experience...... thanks for bringing us along .....this work Greenpeace does is so important you can't say enough of their worth to the betterment of the oceans.....this needs to be put in front of people's faces much more often...... Bravo guys
I think it's so awesome that you guys made this video and took this journey! I am pleased that you are using your reach for such an enormously important topic and I hope that this message will continue to flow into your videos! Because everyday life becomes political when we see the small in the big context! And that includes beeing economical for a better world. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart and am really happy about your channel and your videos! Love, Sofie
Thank you so much for sharing Green Peace's mission. Such a great sincere hard working organization. Amazing ship! and crew. Praying for success on their mission. Praying for our Earth. Always love seeing the family. Please do not be too embarrassed with the kiddos. Kids will be kids and we have all been through it. Beautiful family. Love you guys. Look forward to your adventures. Robin
Thank you, Riley, Aleana and Greenpeace, for taking us along. The underwater rover let us feel like we were right there with you. Amazing I hope their presence will give Woodside cause to rethink their plans. We have to protect those reefs, not put them and the Wildlife that depend on them at RISK.
As we go through our life there are so many things we just don't know or truly understand, but once we Know Better then we need to Do Better. This pertains to every aspect of our life, from being a child, a friend, an employee, a partner, a spouse, a lover, a parent, a leader and a steward of this earth. We can't get comfortable with willful ignorance. Thank You for taking us on this amazing journey with you. I paused the video and read everything that was written. The statements Woodside issued and the truth are worlds apart. I feel privileged to sign the petition. Thank You Greenpeace for taking a stand!!
I don’t have words to describe how this video made me feel. Suffice it to say I always come away from your content feeling like I have a deeper understanding of our world, and feel a stronger need to help protect it. You’re making world-class content.
My family moved to Broome in my teens. My family still lives there. My 3 brother were pearl divers for Paspaley Pearls for years. I was nominated Shinju Matsuri Princess back in the 80's. My mum & dad are documented in the Broome museum for Lawn bowls championship. Who would have thought a humble Italian family would get documented in the Broome doco's. Glad you got to experience Broome with your two beautiful boy's. ⛵🌏🐟🤿🩳🩱👙🐬⛱🎣📸🦈🐠💧🐚⚓🐡☀️🇦🇺
I hope people think twice before leaving a comment. These folks are doing such important work with very full hearts for the project(s). All are living GOOD lives.
Such an incredible video folks. You guys play such an important role in sharing/communicating the importance of a healthy ocean and why we need to halt these huge damaging projects, so it’s great to see you’ve teamed with Greenpeace to help share what they are doing, and get people onboard to support them. We actually saw the rainbow warrior anchored off the shore when we were in Exmouth, what an awesome boat.
Long time watcher and infrequent commenter, 100% Agree with you Riley, some are so quick to judge and throw stones, but a good thinker and person is able to look at the bigger picture and have a discussion.
Thank you guys SO much for making this video and taking us on this adventure. As someone who campaigns against projects like these as my day job, I can tell you that it means to so much to have people like you raise awareness about the topic and bring people who normally wouldn't engage with these issues on board. And you do it in such a nuanced and loving way- love you guys always. Thanks for reminding us activism is for everyone - can't wait to see more videos like these from you guys (even though I did cry most of the way through aha)
YOU TWO ROCK!! I will be 80 y/o in 9 months & I was donating to Greenpeace in my 20s. Thank you for using your success to support a very worthy cause. Go Elayna & Riley! Go Greenpeace! 🌿 Be Well & Stay Safe
So glad to see a cruising channel actually doing some good out there. So tired of repair videos and drunken parties. Folks spending their lives traveling the word and complaining about the hardships. It was so refreshing to see this video. We need more of this. I love what Greenpeace does. I do object to some of their methods. Captains should never put their crew at unnecessary risks. Please do more of this kind of content. Love you guys!
I love your Web and your Green Peace dive . I have had the pleasure to dive there in the 80'S while serving in the Navy. An when I saw Elaine and The Captain Dive I found myself Crying. Remembering how beautiful then. Now I am Physically Limited. Both from my pocket, and Physically limited. An to hear that a Government which was and use to be Nature friendly tare truly The Last place of Edan , Now I wish was I Australian. Yet I am a simple retired Navy Warrior, An I adore your energy, Love, and creativity. This will be my 61st. I have been watching you since you started. In 2018? I hope you continue for your kids, your way of life to show case Nature, and the fight for our oceans, and water. An in General our Planet ! Thank You LtCdr Allen
This is not only a Beautiful and entertaining video but educational and inspiring. The earth needs all of us to change and stand up for the earth. In the late 70s I worked for the Vineyard Commission and helped establish the first county wide oil spill response plan and team. What I learned while researching spills at the WHOI library is that spills will happen at drill sites. It's just a matter of time. And time is of the essence in responding to a spill if environmental damage is to be limited. Damage can't be prevented. How do you respond quickly and effectively 250 miles from shore? You can't. Save Scott's Reef. No exploration or drilling. Also personally switch to electric cooking with alternative energy. Cheers and thanks again.
Wow I love that female team on the boat. You are amazing at everything you do. This is incredible. Love the whales and cried at the same time. GreenPeace , keep up the great work. Thank you for spreading all this wonderful knowledge 🫶🫶We need more people to fight for our oceans. Beautiful under water footage too ❤️❤️❤️ Love you guys
Good onya Guys, well done regardless of what comments you receive there is no right or wrong and what strong beliefs you have are appreciated. Thank you for the opportunity to allow us all to partake in the duties associated with GreenPeace and the Rainbow warrior III
What a privileged life you live :) . You have worked hard for your position and Greenpeace gains from your notoriety and you from theirs. I've been a long time supporter of many of Greenpeace's campaigns and love the opening for different positions to be presented. Love you Riley and Elena - we so look forward to the next LaVagabonde!!!
I've worked on rigs for 18 years this year. I've worked offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for 11 years on ships. I completely agree with yall. When I think of Australia, I think of kangaroos and coral reefs. We already know that the coral is dying all around the world. We should fight to save what little we have left. I understand that the project creates jobs and income, but we really need to start thinking about our oceans.
I'm also in greenpeace, and greenpeace activist are truly the most wonderful and warm people I've ever met. Even with stranger's, you just feel so welcome and loved lol, compared to the average "society" where you are being judged ect. Best people ever!!!
Good fair assessment off the top, the vast majority are not in the position to make the transition. Patience and education required. Living a minimalist lifestyle requires sacrifice and dedication. Thank you, you guys for endeavouring and doing your best and sharing!
Amazing! Just signed the petition. I’ve been a member of Greenpeace on and off for decades and campaigning for some semblance of sanity when it comes to oil usage and excavation for decades as well. Insane what humans are doing to our beautiful planet. I feel so very sorry for our children and grandchildren to come 😢
You all are very blessed to have such a wonderful experience. I totally get being stressed about how the boys are behaving. I've been on both sides with 4. I'm guessing the members of the ship may not have little ones on board often. Therefore, most will be fine and probably enjoy seeing 1st hand why they are doing what they do. For the future of course. Can't wait for your boat to be done. And to see that tour. Hugs to all take care 😊🤍
Thank you for using your platform to try to make the world a better place. I’ve been following your adventures for years and as someone who works in the environmental space, it’s lovely to see those two worlds combine. I particularly liked that you addressed that everyone has their own footprint, and shouldn’t be branded as a hypocrite for trying to make a difference at the higher level. It is the systems and decision makers who we should scrutinise, not individuals who often haven extremely difficult decisions to make when balancing their financial, health and social well-being vs their environmental impact. Thanks guys!!!
They’ve come a long way since the granola tree hugging days… that’s one hell of a ship! Makes me want to become a member! I hope they’re making a difference out there with that beast ❤
Simply the best channel on TH-cam. There should never be any guilt whatsoever from you guys, nobody can live a totally perfect green life. What you're doing is introducing issues like this to people who are none the wiser. You provide entertainment and education. I've learn a great deal from Elayna and Riley along the way. Your videos are making a real difference and bringing awareness to matters like this. It's great.
This was a fantastic video and so worthwhile. You should do more like this. High profile involvement helping to draw awareness to these issues is priceless. 👍👍🏴🏴
Oh my goodness you guys. I live in broome and cried when I saw the coast line from the boat, realising you were here when the Greenpeace ship was here. I can’t believe you were here and I missed you. I hope you guys enjoyed my little town ❤
DONT MINE FOR OIL AND GAS!!!!! Greenpeace “oh but can we please grab some diesel for our ship please, we rely on oil and gas for propulsion, power generation, heating and cooling” I never understood this parallel
Greenpeace do amazing work helping to save our planet and animals.I did a Greenpeace charity walk a few years ago titled Save the Whales, that was before I started having problems with pain in my hips..Thanks guys for posting this vlog and highlighting the good work of Greenpeace and showing us what a beautiful planet we have, and we don't want it any more polluted by big fat rich companies
Wow, you just changed my opinion of Greenpeace, what beautiful people, amazing effort to preserve this wonderful area. Actually have tears in my eyes writing this. Thank you for all that you do, but this was one of the very best episodes. Well done Greenpeace too, such a great idea to get you guys on board, certainly worked for me. Stay safe everyone.
Oh, Oh, Friendship. I love friendship. She does so many amazing things for the children of Africa from what I have heard ! I saw a study on the seismic blasting they do and what it does to the whale , dolphin, and many other populations. Its terrible. The study watched their activities and tracked where they went, They had to leave their traditional long term breeding grounds and flee the noise ! They had no choice. I lived in an oil transport area and witnessed what happens when oil is spilled. I am not a vet or trained in any way, so I was put at the door and had to do the primary assessment of which birds would make it and which had little chance. It still bother me to think about the poor little guys I had to turn away. I was able to release the decontaminated birds with the team and that helped but it still makes me cry to think about it.I personally do not use any gas. pretty much none for cooking. There is so much refuse around every home that can be used for cooking. Twigs are all you need. Cook outside ! It feels good to hear the birds, and enjoy the outdoors. Michael
Yes. I would love an ideal envionmet. Not only do birds and many animals die due to oil extraction, many humans die also, i have unfortulatly seen that. In reality. How can we move to electricity as a prime source of power without using oil and gas as a prime fuel? When all the batteries and solar farms expire how can this earth dispose of or recycle them? This opens up a huge question!
It was an incredibly valuable episode. So greatful that you use your platform to spread this message. I’m a Greenpeace Poland activist and it most of the time feels like we are alone in our fight. Your voice makes a huge difference and makes this journey easier. Great thanks ❤
One of my favourite episodes of yours so far! Such an inspiration- love that you use your platform for these matters also. Thanks for the insides of the Rainbow Worrier. Pretty badass with the ladies controlling this vessel!
You guys rock. Thanks for being yourselves and sharing your journey with us. We have many favourite episodes, this one is definitely up there. Our planet is heating up, Canada, my home, is burning up. It is the right thing to do to stand against this development. We have offended Gaia enough. Your children are beautiful, and a handful, thanks for letting them be themselves too.
I'm so very happy that you spent time with Greenpeace! These amazing people have done so much to raise awareness of our threatened and declining seas and your participation with them helped further raise that awareness. Disregard the naysayers! You made the right decision and I appreciate you all the more for what you have done!!
I have watched all you content from the beginning (I am from wa) and this is one of your best videos, definitely not in my face but you definitely let me see the reality of what the dangers are if we just let the mining companies keep going!!! Thanks and enjoy Europe 👍
I feel like a lot of people have forgotten how to be nuanced, mostly on social media, there are no eyes to face in the moment and look directly into. To really get a feel for where a person may be coming from, so often times words just get spewed out without regard or thought. We must remember, we are all human and therefore imperfect. We also need to remember how to be compassionate, to empathize, and understand where another is coming from. I don’t know how you TH-cam influencers do this, you have to have some pretty tough skin and mental fortitude to block out those negative voices, it can not be easy. Love your channel been watching for years now. ❤❤❤
Brilliant job at presenting a subject that can divide viewers, with total respect for all. Not easily done. You guys are brave and inspiring. Thank you 🙏
I can see both your boys on. Greenpeace ship when they are older. What a unique experience! Thanks for sharing. Petition signed. When you said you’d like to be an activist my thought is you already are. You stand up for mental health, a healthy lifestyle, respect for nature and wildlife ….
Thank you Riley and Elayna 🐋 🌊 I've dedicated most my life to ocean renewal. With sincere awareness and action we can end illegal fishing, protect Big BrainHeart ocean mammals, stop waste dumping and more. And yes nobody or organization is perfect! And I expect most of the critics aren't dedicated to a valuable cause. If they were - they wouldn't have the desire to find fault in people doing the best they can to help.
Your peaceful and reflective support for the foundational green as well as all other of earth's colourful life, will inspire and strengthen so many prudent, responsible and solidaric efforts around the globe. Thank You very much! Please continue to take good care of Yourselves.
Very enlightening, thank you. Especially your first-hand experience in diving coral reefs around the world. Most of us have no idea the damage that is being done to the ecosystem beneath the surface of the oceans because we don't see it.
Thank you for taking the time to enlighten us all about the reality of the oceans. As you said, we will not be without anything if they don't move forward with the project, so for the sake of protecting ocean life, why not refrain, Woodside? 🥰😎
I've seen the coral reef about 15 yrs ago, so beautiful back then, I cannot imagine what they plan on doing! Happy Canada Day, to equate fires on a beach which is heavily monitored by Riley and Elaina, to the heavy-handed oil industry piles in comparison to the actual pollution that Canada is experiencing 8 million hectares of forest fire damage that is being faced on Canadian Land almost yearly due to Climate Change, and it's not expected to rain until nearly October. We do live on One World. What happens in one part of the world, other factors are affected. We are aware that different parts of the US have complained about the smoke. Given the limited capacity to handle massive fires, we are doing what we can, and are thankful for Australians, south African, Ukrainian, and many countries who came to help us in Canada. The firefighters do make a huge difference, so thank you from Canada.
What a beautiful location! Videography was spot on. Thanks guys for taking us along! It's very important to have a balance between industry and the environment. Unchecked, the nature of "man" is to develop and exploit, yet, we also need to be aware of the needs of the peoples of the world. Organizations like Greenpeace help to keep things in balance but, I think we all as individuals need to do our part for conservation as well. My 2 cents.
Amazing episode. Elayna, I love how you summed it up that our inconvenience if the Woodside project is stopped is so minimal compared to the damage that could occur to the ocean. And in fact, if the destruction of the oceans doesn’t stop we will be more than inconvenienced. However, I am empathetic to the fact that I made a good living from the oil patch and others far less fortunate than I might see this and other such projects as their only chance of a better life. We have to find a way to provide more sustainable environmentally friendly employment options for everyone along side shutting down projects like this. When people are in short term survival mode they don’t have the option of worrying about the long term effects on the planet.
My carbon footprint is the size of Al Gores pool house yet his jet burns thousand of gallons at 30,00 feet. The Rainbow saves poop to be processed on land yet burns the dirtiest fuel for motor and generators. The environmentalists have forced drilling off shore. There is millions of gallons of oil without risk of spills. Good job!
I still very much remember when the French blew up the 1st Rainbow Warrior! I still have a picture of myself from when I was around 10 saying Save the Whales! Im so beyond proud of you guys for showing this side of the story and I was holding back the tears (happy/sentimental ones) but I let them flow for our Ocean and the damage we as a species are doing to the voiceless marine life. Thankyou xox
Yet another absolutely fantastic episode of SLV please please please keep them coming. I'm loving the new format too. You are a credit to the whole world. Well done. Can't wait for the next episode. Take care stay safe x❤
You guys are absolute legends! I signed the petition and I hope more people do so too. Hopefully, together we can make a difference. Please please please keep doing what you do! I wish there were more people like you out there. 💚
So sad what we have done to our marine environment. Thank you so much for bringing attention to what we have done. Hopefully we can save this special place.
Back in the 80s, my father-in-law, a brilliant engineer, humanitarian and anti-nuclear activist, briefly worked with Greenpeace in Northern Alberta, Canada. The last protest he attended was an "attempt" to disrupt a cruise missile test by launching a huge net in its path with balloons. I don't know what went on that day but, when asked how the day went, he sat silently for a very long time before finally letting out a long sigh and replying, "I think I want to go club a seal." And, that marked the conclusion of his collaborations with Greenpeace.😂 I miss that man so much!
Wow! What a great video. You guys ought to do this every year with GreenPeace. Let them take you to their issues. Let us watch Lenny and Darwin grow in to big time environmentalists. C’mon! Our girl, Greta, needs some up and comers. Love your efforts!
Thanks for sharing this adventure. A great experience and very educational for all. It’s great to know orgs like Greenpeace exist to keep the big companies accountable and to rally for the environment and greater good.
Children enrich the lives of everyone around them. I’m sure the crew was so happy to have them. What an amazing opportunity and amazing video. This is fantastic ❤
YASYASSSSYASSSS such a good episode and I love seeing this kind of engaged content! well done you legends! Rainbow warriors for life, building this new earth together from the heart
I grew up surfing and free diving in Hawaii in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. I’m in Fiji now, and no longer snorkel unless I’m cleaning the bottom of my boat. It is just too depressing. Good on ya for shining a light on this.
It seems you both have been quite moved by your recent experience with Greenpease, thanks for bringing it to my attention, didnt even know a thing about it, I am in NZ and was in Auckland when the RW1 incident occured, they do awesome work for our planet. Thanks for sharing.
This was amazing. We've been following you guys for 4? years. You've got 1.8M subs now. You can use this platform to do some real good in the world. We are donating to Greenpeace for the first time. Keep it up.❤❤
That was a very important piece of reef and with you and Greenpeace highlighting the potential devastation there it has to get as much publicity as you can give it, One thing I think would help, guys, if you could put a little more context in the support of a reef like Scotts Reef is what it does or adds to the whole biodiversity of the marine life. You mentioned the pygmy blue whales and giant turtles and there will be a whole food chain that all living creatures there survive on. Highlight that and what that means when its all gone and the reef is bleached white and is a wasteland underwater - how does that impact all of the sea life. You have the soapbox and the audience go for it.
Riley and Elayna, thank you for this episode. What a trip and great message. I have been following and watching your channel for a long time now. Like you, I have been a bit shocked at the meager sea life in many, many places at which you dove. But these reefs were teeming. We need to preserve much much more. Keep the vlogs coming. Looking forward to the next installment.
The kids are very cute and "normal" . I am sure all kids are naughty at times. No one else seemed to notice but you. I am sure at least Lenny will remember this time. What a privilege. Great episode, well worth the wait. Also love the females in key positions.
God I love you guys..... As a couple as a unit as parents...... Just as people...... You're hearts in your spirits are always in the right place.. I think you so much for doing what you guys do and I hope to God. I finally get to meet you at some point.!!!
Our lives, belief systems and values are likely completely different but we still have more things in common than differences. I would never let our differences divide us or make me love your beautiful family any less. Sending love and well wishes!
Loved this episode so so sooooo much!! Hits home for me here in South Africa there has also been a surge in seismic survey applications, particularly in and around our newly proclaimed MPAs. Its so frustrating that instead of investing in renewable energy, instead we take the (what countries think) easy route of just extracting more and more from the planet... And yes, most of us are unable to live our lives without the use of fossil fuels, but we need to remember that change doesn't happen over night and bringing awareness to what is going on will allow people to realise that what we are doing is not sustainable and that we need to change the direction in which we are going so we can leave something behind for future generations to come. Much love! Hope you have a blast on your travels and hope you come visit the south coast of SA sometime :)
Could you tell the other side of the story too! I'm a biologist, but what new drilling technology's are available to mitigate the, "what if's" might help a person decide if they are against or for the drilling?
Answers to some of the “what if’s “. If they test and find nothing? Then they will cause damage to a stressed ecosystem that is irreplaceable. If they find gas or oil? Then they will cause damage to a stressed ecosystem that is irreplaceable . 🤷♂️🌏

Hi....Bravo your life !!!
Have a nice day !!!!
Thank you.
Y’all give me so much hope for life man. I’m in the military and getting out, there doesn’t seem to be a clear adventure or purpose out in the civilian world but SAILING is a big part of that and thanks for sharing all you guys do!
Oh totally enjoy this
Best episode ever💚💚💚💚
So sorry to hear that mate.
I never lost anyone whilst at work but it was always a worry. Certainly there were things we did that I wouldn’t do now.

Its not dead.
Why is it dead?
I love this! I wish I had heard thar. 😊
As a Mama of 9 I love this comment!!
The rainbow warrior holds a big space in the hearts of most Kiwis...wonderful to see you on board the new ship. ❤❤❤
🌿
Be Well & Stay Safe
I just love your comment. Happy early Birthday 🎉😊
Thank you for the opportunity to allow us all to partake in the duties associated with GreenPeace and the Rainbow warrior III
so cool…. thank you Greenpeace, to try and not giving up for our future. Happy Birthday Riley !
Riley is so sensible. What a human! Love his logic of how he used to work on rigs but he also cares for the environment . He's just so realistic.
This could and maybe should have been an hour long network TV broadcast! Exceptional editing and content!
Amazing! Just signed the petition. I’ve been a member of Greenpeace on and off for decades and campaigning for some semblance of sanity when it comes to oil usage and excavation for decades as well. Insane what humans are doing to our beautiful planet. I feel so very sorry for our children and grandchildren to come 😢
Thank you for doing this. Thank you for sharing the experience with us all. LOVE your passion for saving our planet.
An important topic, I'm so happy you guys took this opportunity. Please keep us updated 🙏
Greenpeace “oh but can we please grab some diesel for our ship please, we rely on oil and gas for propulsion, power generation, heating and cooling”
I never understood this parallel
HYPOCRITES 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Been donating monthly to Greenpeace for 2 years now. Keep up the efforts and thank you LV for the video.
Michael
It's ok to respect the environment, However, if you guys start to become activist I might consider unsubscribing!!!!!😢😢😢
Look at what they say
I'm so very happy that you spent time with Greenpeace! These amazing people have done so much to raise awareness of our threatened and declining seas and your participation with them helped further raise that awareness. Disregard the naysayers! You made the right decision and I appreciate you all the more for what you have done!!
How is it that you two continue to make better and better content? This was so amazing! THANK YOU!
Thank you 🙏
Totally agree, delicate subject handled very well, well done Elayna and Riley.
Just don't bring up the gender subject.
Thank you so much for talking about the wonderful activities that Greenpeace has been doing for many years.
The rescuing Elayna from a cult part made me laugh so hard 😂
Cool to see the women on the bridge. Cool to see amazing people on amazing boats doing amazing things.
I had NO idea they had ship doing things like this. Thank for sharing. ❤
Have you had your head up your backside?
Can’t believe I nearly didn’t watch this, you guys are legends. Thanks! This episode is my favourite sailing vlog of 2023.
Greenpeace and La Vagabond... What a combo!! Great video, thank you so much. Happy belated birthday wishes Riley! 🎉
I think this was your most beautiful underwater footage ever. And I have seen every single SLV video.
Dr. Meynecke's heart shows loud and clear across the thousands of miles❤❤❤
Keep it up.❤❤
Yes something I support wholeheartedly Green peace and the rainbow warrior
Really glad you are using your platform to show the work of Greenpeace and direct ocean actions. Go Rainbow warriors.
That was a very important piece of reef and with you and Greenpeace highlighting the potential devastation there it has to get as much publicity as you can give it,
One thing I think would help, guys, if you could put a little more context in the support of a reef like Scotts Reef is what it does or adds to the whole biodiversity of the marine life.
Damn speech to text..... I promtou guys that I'm not illiterate nor grammatically stupid! I just suck at texting!!!😂😅
I was literally watching another video wondering when the next one was coming up and pow! here you are! :D Always looking forward to your video's!
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing this message with your audience.
Our lives, belief systems and values are likely completely different but we still have more things in common than differences. I would never let our differences divide us or make me love your beautiful family any less. Sending love and well wishes!
well said!
Awesome. You can definitely feel the kind hearted nature of the people onboard.
Loved the video love the message and mission of Greenpeace. Will support this mission from USA, and proud to do so. Thank you
