@@xtim0x that makes sense. I was only asking because I thought you had to get it reprogrammed anyway. That said, I thought it would be easier replace the whole stalk and then just reprogram the steering module. I ended up replacing the stalk. Everything just happened to work except the headlight cleaner button. I have to see if the Foxwell NT530 can program it. Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks for sharing the video. It was very helpful!

Probably yes because the horn might not work, or the paddles if your car is auto
I have a question I upgraded my steering wheel to a 991 do you know the part number for the control module I will need
Can I ask why you didn’t just swap the whole stalk and module over?
Because you will need to recode it completely and also it is usual to just find the module on ebay

Did you need to take it to be programmed after installing the new module? Or will it just work ?
It worked plug and and play on my case . However sometimes you need to recode
it just works
Can you use steering module 997.613.289.00 instead of .01
