As promised, here's my new video detailing 64 facts about the Nintendo Museum that I think people need to know! 64 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NINTENDO MUSEUM: th-cam.com/video/AJFDzntDJRY/w-d-xo.html
There's a BUNCH of stuff in there that I STILL haven't seen reported anywhere else yet and I tried my best to include as many of the answers to the questions that popped up in this video's comments section as I could! I ended up finding a lot of old commercials, photos and footage that relates to a lot of the things that we weren't allowed to take photos of in the museum proper so I hope you all enjoy it! Massive thank you to everyone for such kind words on this tour video and I hope my additional info in the 64 facts video is helpful to you all too!
According to Mr.Miyamoto, the impetus for creating this museum came from the fact that explaining Nintendo's history to new employees was becoming tedious.
What's there to explain? They make video games. They created Mario and Zelda. They started with Game and Watch and now have the Switch. End of history lesson.
I'm speechless. That museum looks awesome. As a lifelong Nintendo fan, I would definitely take a trip there and see all of Nintendo's history in its entirety. The merch shop looks so cool. Thanks a lot for giving us a glimpse of the museum Roger.
So jealous! I only get to experience life vicariously through others so thank you for the effort you put into making this video roger! Glad you had fun
I appreciate when Nintendo genuinely puts their hearts and souls into something! I am a humongous fan of the Wii U, and seeing it get its own dedicated booth and MERCH, puts a big smile on my face! I’m glad to see that the Wii U, despite not selling well, still gets appreciation by Nintendo and their fans!
Wow! And just when I thought my hype for my Japan trip couldn't get any higher. Just seeing a place like this finally exist warms my childhood heart. Congrats on this amazing opportunity Roger!
I find it funny that Banjo is in a Nintendo museum despite him being Microsoft's boy but then again, he did got games on Nintendo consoles and made an appearance in Smash
Man, this is such a fun watch! Loved the informative commentary alongside getting to see all the fun you had there. Easily sold this as a must visit for me when I visit Japan, awesome video Roger!
Wow, thanks for the amazing tour, Roger! When Nintendo first announced they are making a museum, I wasn't sure what to expect. But man, this looks absolutely AWESOME. I think it's now a MUST for any Nintendo fan to visit. The details in this museum look insane from just this tour video alone! I'm glad they put much love and passion in this. FANTASTIC.
Just went to the museum over a week ago and I highly recommend it if you're able to go. Definitely an amazing experience to see everything in person. Just a heads up but those pillows cost just a little over 10,000 yen, so they're not exactly cheap either. And man, I can't believe I missed those controller keychains! I definitely would've picked one up if I saw them! Also a personal tip but if you want to do the zapper shooting gallery, I highly suggest going to it right away as it easily has the longest line out of all of the activities. They actually make you take an escalator to the 2nd floor of the museum first, so it will require having to go back down via the stairs. Once you're done playing, you can easily just go back up and enjoy the museum at a leisurely pace.
@@sparrow9875 Stellar Blade isn't glitchy. God of War Ragnarok has no loot crates. Astro Bot has no monetization. Also who is even required to buy money or loot crates?
i feel like i'd be so overwhelmed at the museum, i'd probably just burst into tears. i love nintendo more than anything, so being surrounded by so much of their history would break me. XD also, if i had the money to do so, i'd definitely buy one of everything in that merch store! :D
You'll forever be my favorite youtuber. So so so happy for you getting this opportunity! Your positivity and enthusiasm reaches far and wide, even to Nintendo themselves! Great video and keep up the good work!
Awesome! I’m so glad I now have a guide on what to do if I ever go to the Nintendo Museum. Also nice to see the gift shop has cool memorabilia like the plushes, as well as practical items such as the coffee mugs! It’ll make picking souvenirs much easier. 😂

I’m glad you had a great time at the museum. I used to play and grew up with Nintendo. Despite that I don’t play anymore but I would like to try to go to the museum and I was born in Japan.

I can't believe that after a few short years I'll be able to do a vacation tour to Japan and have it be mostly Nintendo themed. Between this, Super Nintendo World, the Mafuta Hotel, Club 84, Pokemon Centers, Nintendo Worlds...fml and wallet!
I think the one thing I want to know the most is if the Gulf War Game Boy found a new home in the Nintendo Museum since it was retired from Nintendo NY a few years ago. Other than that, splendid video! I would love to go there solely for the DS (and Wii U) merch, and giant Wii Remote action.
This is WAY beyond my expectations!!! Love how it pays homage to the origins of Nintendo all the way through to the most recent titles. Mind blown. Thank you for capturing all of this for us Roger (and in under 20 mins 😮)! Congrats on this new milestone on your relationship with Nintendo, too!
