As a # one fan of RogersBase and Nintendo, this is by far the most coolest Nintendo Museum tour video I’ve ever seen! All 64 of these Nintendo Museum facts are super amazing! That’s awesome you got a special preview of the newly opened Nintendo Museum, lucky you! I’m so very happy for you Roger! 🤗 I just went to the Nintendo Museum along with my family and my friends after we watched this Nintendo Museum tour video! We had such a great time there! We love Nintendo Museum so very much! 🥰💞
I'm very honored and lucky that I'll be able to visit the Nintendo Museum soon, I'll be going in November and I can't thank you enough for this video and the tour video you made in September. Thank you for the videos Roger!
Great video! I don't know if I'll ever be able to visit in person, so it's cool to see a nice overview here of many of the little secrets and details to discover. 14:57 if the original Mario movie made it in, now I wanna know if Hotel Mario is in the museum.... that'd be funny.
@@rylade475 Yeah I doubt they have them haha… but embarrassing as it may be, those games and the whole Sony/Philips partnership certainly is a rather interesting part of Nintendo’s history.
I love that this 64 facts video actually has interesting and intriguing facts! (I've been burned before by "facts" videos that just say really obvious or inconsequential things.) Your video makes me excited about visiting this museum!
Wow absolutely incredible, I really hope Nintendo uses your idea about having a Spaceworld area. There is so much Nintendo History & love that it would be so cool to see early prototypes of games from demo kiosks. I cannot wait to visit the museum myself one day
This is video is perfect for people who like to plan ahead of their trip. I really like the fact that they planted a bunch of easter eggs in the museum as well.
10:07 I don’t know if it will ever not blow my mind that Splatoon is so young but is now considered the same tier as Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon just based on the size of the mural squares here
Man Japan has so many places to visit. Hopefully if get to travel next year to Japan i get to visit thr Nintendo museum, pokemon center, studio Ghibli, Disney japan, and the Gundam museum
21:19 Did you see any of the footage shown for Fire Emblem on the N64 display? No FE game was ever released for that console but there are screenshots of a planned game. I wonder what the display would show.
Roger do you remember if they had the game (Wii Chess) in the Nintendo Wii Display, since the game was only released physically in PAL regions. It was also released on the Wii Ware service in Japan but not physically, and never got a physical or digital release in America. Also in the DS, Wii and 3DS Sections did they show any of the Digital exclusive games like Doc Louis Punch Out, WarioWare Snapped, Nintendo Badge Arcade and Kirby’s Blowout Blast etc.
These are things that I know about the Nintendo Museum: It's in Kyoto Japan, it have rooms about of Nintendo's history of it's toys, card and board games, every consoles Virtual Boy, NES, Snes, Gameboy Color, SP, Advance, N64, Gamecube, Wii, DS, 3DS, Wii U and Switch, BIG controllers like N64, Snes and my FAVOURITE Wii controller and it was opened in this october 2024. The Nintendo Museum is more reasons after Super Nintendo World and Pokémon Centers why I wan't to visit in Japan sometime as a Nintendo fan! 😢❤
I don’t see many people asking, did you see any notable Mother/Earthbound stuff? I know the game cases are there and I believe the Mother 3 Limited Edition GBA is there? Just wondering if they gave it any special attention
@@RogersBaseSorry, I based this on a Reddit post without vetting it myself. After scrubbing the official website’s FAQ, I found that to be factually incorrect. Seems your vacuum bag idea is the best option.
I imagine the museum has a display for all the amiibo ever released, so my question is: is this why the big amiibo display case in Nintendo NY is gone now? They probably flew it in the same way as that arcade cabinet you mentioned
12:14 @Nintendo if you don't have any ideas for Smash Bros because you're basically oversized the series with Ultimate than make a deal with Shueisa to revive this series.
Hey, I'm wondering how much copies Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers sold, as there's no information about it online. You did say there were sales numbers in the museum somewhere.
There are general sales total breakdowns by region for all of the systems and their games and for some individual titles but for the most part there are NOT individual title sales breakdowns. I do not believe there is an exact sale number for Dillon’s Dead Heat Breakers on display.
Was the gulf war game boy originally at the NYC store on display? It was taken out of NY Store just before the museum opened so assume it’s moved there?
Great video, I'd love to make a visit one day. I did have a very simple, specific question about the big controller room. For the N64 controller, do you have to reach around the entire middle prong to reach the Z button, or did they give it some form of easier access?
One question I actually had: How do people press the Z button on the big N64 controller? Does a third person go down and press it or can a second person easily access it?
Hey Roger, any chance you can answer this for me: Are you allowed to use your play coins for others, or can you only pay to play for yourself? Example scenario: me and my brother want to use the giant Wii motes. Can I pay for both of us? Another example scenario: I want to try the batting cages again but I’m out of play coins. Can I make my parents pay for me?
When I was there, I was badged in for some of the activities with other badge's coins and I've heard stories from other people who've attended since the opening that they could use their coins to have a friend play. The only thing is I don't think you can badge in twice with the same badge for two people on the same machine. They would have to play at a different time for your badge to activate again. Hope that makes sense!
17:21 Are you able to buy multiple of these poster cards? If you know exactly how many one person can buy, I’d appreciate knowing that as well. I’m very interested in these items and I’ll be able to go to the Nintendo Museum in a few weeks.
I could’ve sworn I remember seeing Karate Joe or the Chorus Kids on there but I’ll have to go back at the footage and take a look. Even Barbara the Bat is on it!
I would like to see the Nintendo characters and third party characters to stop the subspace army from taking over the Nintendo multiverse🐭🐗🐵🐯🐲🐔🐰🐴🐍🐶🐂🐐. So yes, I like Nintendo 135th anniversary and WB 100th anniversary cartoons😊.

Ohhh very exciting seriously can not wait to experience the museum especially since there’s a lot of things they might be keeping secret!
I wonder if Roger left out any surprises for us to go find by ourselves.
There's still SO MUCH that I didn't get a chance to see. There's a LOT you can go see for yourselves!

Time to buy Nintendo stock to ensure they keep expanding the museum!

Thank YOU for watching!
21:19 Did you see any of the footage shown for Fire Emblem on the N64 display? No FE game was ever released for that console but there are screenshots of a planned game. I wonder what the display would show.
The Fire Emblem highlighted two games from the same system instead. A similar thing happens with Metroid too since there also wasn’t a N64 one.
BRO RODGER!!!! THIS IS DOPE!!!

I am 99% sure I saw it as one of the regional only games. They absolutely had a WiiWare section!

@@RogersBase oh good, thanks a lot!
Luffy in ARMS is potentially feasible, but Goku will never make it into a Smash Bros game as he came from a manga originally, not a game.
Going in November so hyped!!
Have fun!
At least on the ones I saw, the colors were already in order from lightest to darkest. Probably for the exact reason that you stated.

While I haven’t confirmed it myself, there are mentions by others online that the gift shop has a shipping service for your purchases.

Thank you for showing the scale of the wii controller! I was thinking of vacuum sealing the n64 one, hopefully it doesnt get wrecked!
Vaccum sealing them won’t hurt them! They’re squishy enough, haha.
Didnt play the hamtaro game but watched the hell out of it when i was younger lol
Always happy to see Xenoblade stuff in this kind of Nintendo things
