I was reluctant to choose the Race-Tex steering wheel (though it's really awesome looking). I'd be very curious to hear what your impressions on wear and tear of the steering once you have some milage on the car.
I really enjoyed having the Race-Tex steering wheel. After 8,000 miles it was wearing only slights, the most important thing is to keep you hands dry and clean. There are also special cleaners/brushes you can use to maintain the material.

Finally a really good video with all features well explained. Only one thing I still do not get is how to store my songs in the car.
Is this really only applicable by using apple car play and/or my iphone? Or an extra USB device?
Unfortunately there is no hard drive to store songs in the newer Macans.
Own a 2023 Macan. Apple CarPlay only works well with the primary driver, my wife. Every time I use the car I have to manually connect with Apple CarPlay which can take several minutes if it works at all. Very annoying. Dealership has been no help.
Is comfort entry/exit gone?
This is great - super helpful! Does the key memory also save out different home screens and favorites on the PCM? So my husband and I can have separate profiles? Thanks!
Unfortunately in a Macan the PCM settings are not saved to the key/profile like the newer Porsche models.
Hi, thanks for this video. I need a bit advice. My car clock is always 3 hours ahead the current time. I have gone to multiple dealers/services. And none of them could fix them. they can adjust the time from the settings. But the changed time always went back the next day. (or the next time when I restart the car). It sucks that no dealer in the US can fix this.
Sounds like the system adjusts to a wrong time zone, were you able to address it?
@@elizabethdiomin9665 I gave up fixing this. I'm in California now. When I was in New York. The time zone was correct and the clock was correct. However, I could not adjust the time for daylight savings. Meaning the time was correct only a half of the year. Bottom line is, the clock time cannot be changed. I guess it syncs with some satellite every time I restart the car.
Is it possible to get a 2022 for under $60,000?

I noticed you had a baby seat in the rear. I just ordered a 2022 gts and have a baby on the way. Any advice on the set up?
Congratulations! Space is a little tight in the back of a Macan so you'll want to be mindful when selecting a rear facing car seat. Porsche sells a few via the dealers as Tequipment accessories. I have also been very happy with Britax.
