    How do you reinforce the i joists once the flange is cut? I’m in a similar situation and it’s my understanding that the flanges are not to be notched

      You’re right. The flanges should never be cut. As you can see in the video, our builder did cut two flanges in our floor to accommodate the old tub drain line. On one of them, they attached another i joist to splice across that cut because it looked like they cut that one but didn’t need to. The other one was in their way. The only good thing is that there is a downstairs wall directly underneath those cuts (you can see the top plate of the wall in the video).
      So my advice would be to avoid cutting the flanges at all costs.

      I need your help! I rerouted the water cpvc pipes for my selfstanding tub. How can I connect the cpvc to the water like of the faucet? Right now, I just have th sharkbit stopper

      @adrisabe84 It’s hard to say what needs to be done without seeing the layout with the piping and the faucet, etc. If you could send some pictures to diyboomers1@gmail.com and describe what needs to be done, I’ll see if I can be of assistance. Also, are you familiar with and following code requirements for your area?
