The additional silicone around the drain pipe and washer for the extra insurance is genius. Sometimes it’s the little details like that, that can save the home owners so much money in the future. Going above and beyond as usual, I love it. Another well deserved “like” for this one, cheers!
Please do more of these type of videos. Your instruction and voice over is fantastic and the sketching the point what you are talking about is great. I learned so much that I had questions about. Please do more!
Amazing bathroom renovation as a wheelchair users these curbless showers make the whole deference just roll on chair this truly makes life easier and y guys are professional of what y doing so much fun to watch keep it going👍👍👍👍👍👍
Seeing this gave me a lot more confidence that I could do my own bathroom remodel and install a tub like that so one day I could actually have more than my legs in a bath.
Installing the three prong tub filler on the subfloor before tiling makes it so much easier (And more secure). And you only lose an inch or less of height.
I have a question. When inserting the drain into the P-trap do you have a special fitting at the end of the p-trap that creates a watertight seal, in the event that the p-trap gets clogged it does not back up and leak? I installed a similar soaker tub a while back and the drain line was just installed into the p-trap without any sort of watertight seal. I made the guys take that out and create a proper seal between that drain line and the p-trap connection. Hope this makes sense. Than you and great videos.
One thing I am curious about - does the manufacturer recommend setting the proper torque for tightening the nuts to the PEX connectors? Reason I'm asking is that it seem that if you make the connection, snug, but not torqued to spec, you run the risk of water leak. I'm just curious, that's all. I work within the aerospace industry and torque-to-spec is a big thing.
How can u make an threaded or tail piece connection in hidden space,it has to be a glued joint. Its gonna leak at some point for sure100%…,,, aftr tub drain, ll connections must b glued
I wonder if you’ve ever done a bathroom with a Japanese soaking tub with a big floor drain allowing that bathtub to safely overflow and function as a drain for the shower too. It could be a zero barrier entire bathroom.
Funny those island tub drains say in the spec sheet “IS NOT FOR USE WITH LIQUID OR SHEET APPLIED MEMBRANES” “IS NOT INTENDED FOR WET AREAS” lol!! Why it says this? Not sure

Another solid video. Amazing job, and great to see your sub count rising.
Amazing educational and simple. Thanks guys ❤
curious as to hwy you say you shouldn't use plumber's putty on acrylic tubs? 15:30
Very interested in what considerations and a how to in relocating vent stacks, especially from the old shower.
I am, indeed, a pro. I’ve also never installed a tub before. 16:55
So there is really nothing holding the tub to the ground? Given how light it looks what's stopping it from sliding around when you try to get in?
Thanks for clear instructions. Can you please provide the preferred tub filler (Moen) model or part number?
07:31 shouldn't you screw the cross rod on the joist?
Awesome video. Could you do an explainer how to convert to pex
Very nice!

how did you slope the shower floor in this one? did you put a slope foam board under that ditra orange mat
Salut de France :) Tellement facile de faire des trous de les sols en Ontario, tout est en bois :D
Do you need to set it in mortar to keep it from moving when getting in and out?

What if there is no existing tub? Just a walk in shower. Can you add a tub to an open space in the bathroom and connect it to existing plumbing?
Lots of pros out there

Has anyone had issues with the freestanding faucets in the wet areas? No real way to seal them.
Have link for drain??

thank you
I’m honored
Very good!
yeah but cleaning behind the tub is going to be tough its too close to the wall
What is not shown is the installation of the overflow drain....That is what I want to see ..
In most freestanding tubs, the overflow drain is connected to the bottom drain internally, so you don't need to worry about it
Nice
Is that some sort of bug wiggling around on the left of the frame? th-cam.com/video/5OaHewnJKLQ/w-d-xo.html
