    Thank you so much for this video. I bought a brand new blower motor and it still didnt blow and air. I then stumble upon this video and saw my connector was burnt as well. Replaced the pins and my ac is working fine again. Once again, thank you!

    You saved me a lot of heartache , $$$ and shop time. I had EXACTLY the wire plug issue in your video. Easy fix. Bypassed the plug with red wire and made solid solder connection with a lot of insulation for permanent fix. Thank you so much for posting....

    I have a 2014 ml350 4matic and this was the problem with the blower cutting off. Thanks so much, a mobile mecanic was charging me almost $700 to put in a new blower motor but its not the blower motor. Thanks again.

      @@thepitstop9421 does it matter if you use brass instead of the aluminum or zink ones. And does the battery have to be disconnected?

    TY! Pulled that wire out of connecting block and spliced it. Left it to the side after repair and just plugged connector block back together since the other 4 wires were good. Problem solved!!!

    Wow!!! This just happened to my 2015 ML350. I pull the burnt wires out of the connector, made a new connection and covered it with heat shrink.

    Brother! I hope this just saved me something....I had MBZ diagnose while it was in for a recall, they said it was the regulator resistor...so I ordered one from Amazon JIC...thing is, mine was intermittent also...if this is the issue...I owe you a beer or 12!

  • @laxchb
    @laxchb 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Found the exact same problem.
    1. Just replace the connectors?
    2. What is causing the burnout? Will it continue to be a problem after replacing connectors?

    First, thanks for posting this video.
    Is there a part number for the connector? The housing on mine was melted more than the one you show.

    • @thepitstop9421
      @thepitstop9421  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Typically those connectors are sold as part of harness, but given that this is a common issue, call the dealer and see if they have any availability on just the connector

      Pull long doorsill plastic out with something to pry up gently. Then a couple hex screws along right under where feet would go and on plastic nut towards front incline
