Thank you so much for this video. I bought a brand new blower motor and it still didnt blow and air. I then stumble upon this video and saw my connector was burnt as well. Replaced the pins and my ac is working fine again. Once again, thank you!
You saved me a lot of heartache , $$$ and shop time. I had EXACTLY the wire plug issue in your video. Easy fix. Bypassed the plug with red wire and made solid solder connection with a lot of insulation for permanent fix. Thank you so much for posting....
I have a 2014 ml350 4matic and this was the problem with the blower cutting off. Thanks so much, a mobile mecanic was charging me almost $700 to put in a new blower motor but its not the blower motor. Thanks again.
OHHHH MY GOD This is Exactly what i just paid Mercedes 230 to tell me because this is the only video that exist showing this issue. Thanks for posting this.
TY! Pulled that wire out of connecting block and spliced it. Left it to the side after repair and just plugged connector block back together since the other 4 wires were good. Problem solved!!!
Bro! Thank you so much for this I've been having trouble for weeks and was about to take it in until I saw your video. This is exactly what happened. You saved my butt!
Brother! Thanks for this video. I've bee suffering with no AC and I know going to the shop they will say whatever they want to make their money, specially if taken to the dealership. Thanks a lot!!! As soon as I pop the carpet up, it started working. So I finished the job after. Thanks!!!!!
Brother! I hope this just saved me something....I had MBZ diagnose while it was in for a recall, they said it was the regulator resistor...so I ordered one from Amazon JIC...thing is, mine was intermittent also...if this is the issue...I owe you a beer or 12!
Found the exact same problem. 1. Just replace the connectors? 2. What is causing the burnout? Will it continue to be a problem after replacing connectors?
Typically those connectors are sold as part of harness, but given that this is a common issue, call the dealer and see if they have any availability on just the connector
Hello , I found the same issue with my GL but can you please tell what to do after unplugging the red cable ...just leave it loose with no connection ?
Pull long doorsill plastic out with something to pry up gently. Then a couple hex screws along right under where feet would go and on plastic nut towards front incline
Hey man we had the same problem with our ml 350. Thanks for showin everybody where the wiring was. This Saved us from a hot summer☀️

@@thepitstop9421 does it matter if you use brass instead of the aluminum or zink ones. And does the battery have to be disconnected?

You are kind to share that information, I fixed my too, you saved 1100 dealer repair price. Thanks a lot. I can give you a donation for that info,
Is there instructions for how to get the carpet up?
Thank you for the diagnosis. Would you please share how to fix this?
Agreed.. would be interested in knowing exactly what you did to resolve (disconnect and solder with heat shrink, etc...).
Where can I buy the connector pins?
How do you correct the issue with the red wire
Hi I got the same problem, please help I'm in uk ,ml 350 2013
First, thanks for posting this video.
Is there a part number for the connector? The housing on mine was melted more than the one you show.
Typically those connectors are sold as part of harness, but given that this is a common issue, call the dealer and see if they have any availability on just the connector
How do you pop the carpet open? Just pull it up?
i did exactly as the video n it solved my problem
Hello , I found the same issue with my GL but can you please tell what to do after unplugging the red cable ...just leave it loose with no connection ?

Does this apply to the gl series as well?
Yes
Literally you show everything but how to access the wire 😆 can’t fix it that way
Have to unscrew some panel, then take off another panel, then pull back the carpet
How do you get under the carpet?
I can't get my carpet up either
I have the same peoblem. I dont know how to get under the carpet. Did you find a solution?
Anyone?
Pull long doorsill plastic out with something to pry up gently. Then a couple hex screws along right under where feet would go and on plastic nut towards front incline
That connector is so cheap and thin lock broke from heat and wire come apart little by little
