I worked in the car trade for many years in the UK but never knew any of these except the window method as i know it does that anyway but didn't know how to program it.Interesting stuff.

Great video. Here is one though, I used to have "auto-dip" feature on my off-side rear view mirror when I put the car in reverse. After disconnecting the battery this feature cleared. I have never discovered how to set this up again. My W209 also currently has this feature..... its very useful for reversing into an alongside parking space in UK.
I think you have to keep the passenger mirror selected on the mirror adjuster in order for it to dip in reverse.
It's set my you memory seat position. Put car in reverse, adjust mirror to how you want it for reversing. Then set the memory on you seat. Now everytime you select R it'll go to that position
Not all cars have it. My 03 211 doesn't have it. If u have the massage seat function with the buttons under driver seat I believe you have it. Maybe I'm wrong but I know mine doesn't. Pretty lame considering this was 50k in 03

The thing with the windows: It also does work with Audi. In +2009 you need to enable it in MMI at Car settings, and you can set if you want only frontseat windows nor backseat windows. Cool features!

I have about 256k miles and it runs great. I really like it.
Is this also same settings to a mercedez Benz wagon E320 1999? I’m new with this old model wagon and I need to know if my aircon runs good since evrtym I turn my car on the auto mode doesn’t flash the red color. Is that mean that I need to reset those auto mode so that everyone u turn on your car the auto mode turns red all the time?

Didn’t know that you could program the key to unlock and lock one or both sides. The radio trick and pedal trick was also new to me. Didn’t try but good to know.

If you would like to clean your headlights to new again then wet sand them.
1. 400 grit
2. 600 grit
3.rubbing alchal
4. Pray anti yellowing clear coat gloss
5. Wait 24 hours then wax
You will never have issue again

I would just get aftermarket LEDS. The halogen lights are junk on these cars

I own a 270cdi automatic gearbox with manual shifting left and right.
I drive fast and sometimes it shifts well but sometimes it shifts to quickly and is really sluggish, which is actually annoying, because it happens when I most often enter a motorway where I need power!

I have an after market BoDin Diamond Grill, tried the deep bowl for my 2010 c300, which would’ve worked for my factory grill, but doesn’t for diamond grill. Now I have the shirt bowl and it still doesn’t fit right. Any advice which star to get for BoDin Diamond Grill.
What about the wing/door mirrors? Do they not fold upon locking the car?
There is also another secret. On the boot search for a pressing switch then push it in the middie. Then remove your finger touching the switch and it will turn off.
this only passenger door lock helps for me as a loner it's perfect

These features can all be found in the owner's manual. First one you need to aim the key at the little square on the door handle.
You should get some Mothers chrome polish some 1500 sandpaper and an electric buffer and make those headlights look new.

Guys, I have a question. I own MB E 320 CDI T. My climate system is over the place. I wish to get cold air because here, in Estonia is summer right now. Right side (when sitting in the car) is blowing very hot. Middle ones-right one is blowing warm, left one isn't blowing at all, maybe a little. Driver's side one is blowing cold, but sometimes hot too.
I finally found how to do diagnostics through this video(thank you to this channel).
The code showed: left-E61, right-416. Can somebody say what that actually means?

Hello, you have an other video showing how to reset the transmission shifting, and in this one you said 60 seconds and i the other one you said 2 minutes, the procidure is the same, just different time which one is the correct one

They sell stuff that clears up those foggy headlights. Makes em look like new.
I bought a 3M headlight restorer for about $20....you just attach it to a power drill...I seen videos online saying also buy a clear coat as well to keep it protected longer..I was happy with the results.
You paid $400,- for headlight polishing and finish? That is a major ripoff! I've had mine done last year by a renowned car detailing company and I paid $130,-... I can get my whole car polished for just a bit over $400,-.
Never before polished headlights do not have a clear coat on them, it's straight plastic... and even if they were clear coated it sure wouldn't take 6 hours in total to polish it down. If you feel it is an okay price and time taken... I don't have a problem with it, that's on you... but I wouldn't go for it ever.
That's not a clear coat what you'd put on after polishing... it's a factory process that puts a film over the headlights, it's still straight plastic.

For the first hint, you seem not to know: You have to hold the infrared window of the key fob towards the small black infrared window of one of the outside doorhandles. In these older mercedes cars they wanted to prevent opening the doors unintentionally from too far away - or having the key in the pocket.

Will these things work for a 1999 SL500? My 2001 E320 FOB looked identical but my SL has the switchblade style key that flips out.

The window thing is BAD ASS. GREAT fir hot Texas summers. Works on my 2011 GLK350. AND hold unlock to roll them down!
If u never read the manual, when u accelerate slightly u shift earlier, when u floor the gas it revs higher and shifts later that's all, beside that decent vid
You don’t have to read the manual to know that, that’s literally the point of a gas pedal.
These cars have adaptive shift learning he is right you van reset the transmission and it will learn how you drive it
does this reset work? cause every one is saying different how to reset automatic transmission on mercedes but i also have a clk like he does so normally this would work cause the other from the web don't seem to do anything..
Christ Bk S summer mode (dry roads) shifts from normal 1st gear. W winter mode (wet, snowy roads) car shifts off in 2nd gear to stop wheels spinning etc.

Nope. The w201 uses a much simpler transmission and engine management system.

C class misses some of the features
If you have one of the newer models with the paddle shifts I wonder if it will remember shift points for that or just the automatic shifts. Maybe I'll have to try that.
How do you reset the anti theft after removing the battery from a 2003 c230? Also it was jacked up while the system was locked. Now it won’t start.
