Firstly this mod is NTSC only. You will need an NTSC copy of smash, specifically the one that is 6.9gb in size (there is another disc that is 6.1) Keep in mind the warning at the bottom of 11:39. This mod isnt 100% compatible with the wii/vwii. It may freeze and crash, but thats expected. For those of you "stuck" on a black screen, sometimes the wait time for it to load can be a few minutes, if its still frozen just try it a few more time's until it boots.

I made every single step correctly and checked if i did something wrong multiple times and i used a SD hc card of 16g and put the game on an external USB drive but every time i boot the game It Just boots the base game. Is there a way to fix It?
Hate to spam ive fixed the issue of being kicked back to the wii homescreen. Now when i launch the game it just sits on a black screen stuck for over a minute. The wii does not power off it is just stuck
Ntfs doesn’t work for GameCube games though can I partition it so that it I can also have a section that’s fat32 so that I can use nintendont with usbloadergx and emunand or have they patched it to work with ntfs as it does with fat32
@@pablotwigman21 late but i'm not too sure. what i have right now is a 1tb toshiba external hard drive with two partitions. one partition is 250gb formatted to fat32 for gamecube isos, and the other partition is 750gb formatted to ntsc for wii wbfs files. if you're not sure how to partition a drive or anything like that you can look up tutorials online

I followed every step, yet USB Loader GX won't show me the Brawl ISO/WBFS Edit: I got it fixed. I had to format my USB Hard Drive itself to WBFS. for some reason NTFS and FAT32 won't work.
here is my deal, I got sd card needed and 1tb hard drive, i planed to put both wii and gc games on hdd but just realized in order for it to run gc games it needs to be in fat32 format but the max it can hold of files (games) is 4gb which is too small to hold smash bros rom. Would it work if i used wiibackup manager to split smash into 2 files instead of 1 big one?

That means your USB drive doesn't work with the Wii. Make sure it's formatted to FAT32 and plugged into the correct spot on the wii (as shown in the video) If that doesn't work, try a different drive.

Make sure you connect to the internet and do the CIOS part of the tutorial Make sure if you have a lock switch on your SD card that it's unlocked Make sure it's an SDHC card. Your copy of brawl could be corrupt, try re-dumping the game and trying again Format the card to fat 32 and try again And lastly, try a new SD and see if that works

Are you able to run it off a 128GB? I was having issues and would get a black screen with some code. I swapped to a 32gs SD and I was fine. I'm thinking 8GB - 32GB SD only.@@soyomars

I did the method that lets you play a legally obtained wbfs of brawl for the Universe mod and now it does this thing here when i load either from disc or usb it loads the logo right before the intro cutscene then freezes and i cant play i evevn redownloaded it no luck please i need help i cant even play normal method anymore
The game is not 100% compatible with the Wii so it does crash from time to time. Restarting the games a few times should fix the issue unless it was installed incorrectly

Its very specific. The "games" folder is saved for gamecube roms. And Wii roms have to go in the "wbfs" one

@@Rockysnappzz Use dolphin emulator to convert to an ISO, lots of tutorials for that, but its pretty easy.

In theory it should. Give it a try. Just make sure it's the correct version of smash needed for the mod

It's not recommended and most of the information I've seen says it won't work. But you can try it and let us know if you want

That means your folder structure is most likely incorrect and you may not have the correct smash disk

So what i’m understanding is the hard drive is for downloading super smash bros brawl base game and sd is for actual mod part. Can I use the same hard drive that has all my other downloaded games?

You just can't put your mods skins and custom maps and stuff on the USB.

My wii is PAL, do I need to change anything? (Since the code for smash PAL is RSBP instead of RSBE)
This mod is only compatible with the NTSC copy of brawl, specifically the one that is 6.9GB in size (there is another NTSC disc out there)
Just follow the video from that point. It's also worth mentioning that I do discuss a certain pal video setting later in the video that you might have to switch too
@@BelowAverageGaming I followed the steps, and when I load in SSBB (NTSC) it says something like "usb1:/codes/RSBE01.gct does not exist, loading without cheats", but when I checked my homebrew USB stick it does exist. Do you know what went wrong?
