You can also talk to the cop near the roof elevator as the main story progresses and the effects of the fear toxin start to wane, noting how his colleagues are avoiding him, but is appreciative that Batman at least is still listening to him talk :)
Side missions are very important in this game as you only get the real ending if you 100%. Also don’t save them for the end, they earn you useful upgrades.

What's amazing is how the graphics and designs have held up nearly a decade later, with an environment that feels lived in (if only previously so). I heard this game came out glitchy, but the effort put in still shines through.
You better complete all the side missions (including the Riddler stuff) in this game, because the true ending with the Knightfall protocol does not unlock until you complete it.
Most of the sides mission can Only be completed once You complete most of the main story so I recommend finishing the main story first Before doing the side mission
The game forces you to to get it before you can progress a certain mission, but it's fairly late game. SPOILERS below (incase he reads this) Navigating through the Arkham Knight's HQ requires you to get the REC gun, however the game never makes you get the freeze blast from the movie studios to my knowledge

This is amazing! I’m excited to see you do the side missions. I’d also recommend the DLC stuff as well. The Arkham Episodes are cool and the Season of Infamy DLC adds new side missions with villains that aren’t already in the main game
Bro this game is almost 10 years old! It sucks that it had such a buggy release, because it really is a masterpiece of a game. I'm jealous you get to experience it for the first time. Also make sure to play the side missions and the DLC, it's all great.

When I first played this I actually didn't shoot in the beginning scene because I knew the monsters were normal people. I also thought it wouldn't matter because he'd probably die anyway. I was only half right. They were regular people but his actions definitely have an impact. I only found out later online that the voicelines change depending on if you shoot or not. I was glad I didn't.
Honestly one of the BEST games of ALL TIME. In terms of gameplay, graphics, story, detail etc. Everything is really on point and is one of the VERY FEW games I actually play through more than once

I did the trilogy 100% but admit this is my favorite and most fun for me.
It helps having both batmobile and fights,not very repetetive

It also changes the dialogue of the cops outside his cell the first time you’re in the GCPD
If you shoot someone he’s got a possibility of losing his badge, if you don’t, they just wait til he’s calm

When knocking an enemy down you can pick them back up with RT + B and keep beating them down. Best thing ever.
Also when you knock someone out and press RT+B and then you slam them into the ground. Pretty fun too
